Amazon Prime Gaming Free Games January 2024

After a somewhat long wait for the Prime Gaming free games announcement, it’s finally here!

Got to say, that wait felt longer than it was, probably because of the termination of the Amazon Prime loot for Riot Games. Somehow, it felt like the free games hung in the balance.

Four titles are confirmed for now with Endling – Extinction is Forever already out, the same time the rest of the Prime Gaming free games were announced.

Endling – Extinction is Forever

   

Endling – Extinction is Forever is a beautiful yet heartbreaking game where you play as the last mother fox on Earth, desperately trying to keep your three cubs alive in a world ravaged by human activity. The game explores themes of environmental destruction, extinction, and the power of maternal love.

The game is a 3D side-scrolling survival-adventure game where you need to scavenge for food and water, protect your cubs from predators and traps, and navigate through polluted landscapes. Each cub has their own personality and fears, adding an extra layer of challenge and emotion.

Yars: Recharged is a modern remake of the classic Atari 2600 game Yars’ Revenge. It’s a twin-stick shooter with elements of arcade, shoot ’em up, and bullet hell.

Here, you will play as a bug-like creature called Yar, who defends its home planet from invading insectoid enemies called the Qotil.

The game features 30 waves of enemies in Arcade Mode, and 30 missions with unique objectives in Mission Mode.

Amazon Luna, the cloud gaming service of the platform, has however announced the games that will be free-to-play or free-to-stream for January 2024.

Fortnite and Trackmania are still on the list as usual, with the addition of four more titles.
