PUBG Corp Launches Website Called Fix PUBG

It appears that PUBG Corp is getting tired of players complaining and telling them to “fix PUBG.” Now the company has launched a brand new website that deals with players’ issues, and it’s aptly called “FIX PUBG.” The website’s description says they’ve been / hearing the phrase “fix PUBG” lately, so they decided to do something about it. The website shows which areas of improvement the team is looking at, and when players can expect it to get better, or even get fixed. You can check it out at fix.pubg.com.


Strange Brigade Reveals Two Modes

1930’s third-person adventure shooter Strange Brigade is set to hit PC, PS4, and Xbox One on August 28th. If you’re wondering if the game has more in store for you, wonder no more as two new modes have been introduced: Score Attack Mode and Horde Mode. Both of these are free once the game launches. Horde Mode lets 1-4 players face increasing waves of enemies that get tougher each time. Score Attack is for 1-4 players as well and features “short vertical slices of levels from the campaign” but now with enemies and loot.


PAX West to Feature Gameplay of Anthem, Just Cause 4, Tomb Raider, and Devil May Cry 5

PAX West is slated to happen from August 28th until September 3rd in Seattle, and the event will feature highly-anticipated fresh gameplay for Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Just Cause 4, Devil May Cry 5, and Anthem. Devil May Cry 5 will be showcased on August 31st, highlighting Nero’s Devil Breaker arms and some surprises. It will be followed by Square Enix featuring Just Cause 4, and a look at Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s hidden city of Paititi on September 1st. Anthem’s showcase will also be held the same day.


Overcooked 2 Out Now, Online Multiplayer Added

The co-op cooking game, Overcooked 2 is finally here and the long-requested multiplayer has been added to the game as well as so many new things. The multiplayer will allow you to gather your best chefs and work together to take on the new campaign. There are new dynamic levels, the ability to throw raw items to each other or the bin, a brand new story to explore the Onion Kingdom, new chefs, new and exciting recipes like sushi, pancakes and more, some new mechanics like travelators and lastly new kitchens.


Dead Cells Now Out of Early Access

Fantasy action platformer Dead Cells is now out of Early Access after 14 months. Game critics have dubbed the game as one of the best games of this year. One of the most notable features of the game is its healing options which lets players choose which type of healing “food” they can take depending on their mood. The game features 2D Souls-like action with roguelike elements as well as non-linear progression. The game is available now on Steam.


Warriors Orochi 4 Adds Perseus, Ares and Odin to Its Roster

A God-like roster is coming to Warriors Orochi 4 as a new trailer features the coming of Perseus the Greek demi-god. Although it is only Perseus who is available in the trailer, Japanese magazine Famitsu revealed that the God of War Ares, as well as the mighty Odin, will also be joining the roster. Two release dates are available for Warriors Orochi 4. The first one will be for North America which is on October 16th and the next is for Europe on October 19th available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.


Forza Motorsport 7 Gets Update with Time Attack and Drift Mode Overhaul

Forza Motorsport 7 is getting an update and it will include the time attack as well as an overhaul for the drift mode. The new Time Attack mode will include a leaderboard and weather conditions will be static, the track limits had also been redrawn which includes illuminated track lines. Also, Included in the update is the drift mode overhaul that would now have a new scoring model as well as the removal of dedicated drift zones. An option to upgrade the drift suspension is added among others.


The Elder Scrolls Online is Free to Play Thie Weekend

QuakeCon 2018 is almost here and The Elder Scrolls Online will be playable for free during this time. The game is available starting Thursday, August 9th at 10 AM EDT for any platform of your choice. Available during the event is the Elder Scrolls Online base game as well as the Vvardenfell zone and this will run up until Wednesday, August 15th 10 AM EDT. During this time the Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset and Crowns is also on sale. Exclusive pet and Twitch Drops and many more can also be seen.


Naruto to Boruto Shinobi Striker Has Four New Class Types

Something new is being served to the table with Naruto To Boruto: Shinobi Striker. The game will feature four different class types for different play styles. The types are: attack, range, defense and heal. The attack type deals massive damage up close, the range type can strike from a distance, the defense class will make invaders think twice and the heal class will heal the team. Also, something new offered in the game is the new Avatar System where you can customize your very own ninja.


The Baddass Hero is Now Called Fury Unleashed

Previously named ‘The Badass Hero’ is now called ‘Fury Unleashed’. The game offers a fast-paced gameplay experience on procedurally generated levels with random items. Awesome Game Studio’s founder Marcin Draszczuk said that changing the name of the game was a hard decision for them to make especially since they made the game available on Steam Early Access already. However, since The Badass Hero art style has been significantly changed over time, it is best to change the game’s name as well.


Team Sonic Racing Team Gameplay and Abilities in New Trailer

A new trailer has been revealed for Team Sonic Racing and it features the team gameplay as well as the new abilities available. The game’s team-based gameplay includes very interesting abilities like the Skimboost where you can give other team members a boost when you pass them. Slingshot is another ability where teammates can ride behind their teammates to get a speed boost forward. There is also the Rival Takedown, Item Box Transfer, and the Ultimate Attack Sonic Heroes style.

Super Smash Bros. Reveals New Characters

Nintendo had quite a packed Direct for this month as it showcased its upcoming Switch game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. A huge pile of announcements were made, and one of which is the addition of two new fighters. The two new characters are Simon Belmont, the protagonist in Castlevania, and King K. Rool, the archenemy of Donkey Kong. Other announcements include the addition of new Echo Fighters, morphing stages, more than 800 music tracks, new items and assist trophies, and a Limited Edition bundle of the game.


God of War New Game+ Mode Coming This Month

God of War is, without a doubt, one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2018, and Sony Santa Monica wants to make sure players come back to the game. The company has announced a New Game+ for the game back at E3 2018, and fans anticipating the feature won’t have to wait long as it will be rolling out August 20th. New Game+ will come as a free patch, and to start, you would need / to have completed the game’s story. You will start with all your previous abilities, armors, and more.


Multiple Diablo Projects In the Works, Blizzard Says

Multiple Diablo projects are reportedly currently in the works, according to Blizzard. Blizzard community manager Brandy Camel said in a video that some of these Diablo projects may take longer to complete, and that they may have some things to show later this year. Rumors say that one of those included in the projects is another major Diablo game, as well as the Switch version of Diablo 3. Whatever these may be, we would have to wait for official word from Blizzard themselves in the coming days.


Fortnite Matchmaking Updated

Epic is making changes in Fortnite’s matchmaking. Players have noticed that there is quite a disadvantage when players using keyboard and mouse are pitted against those using gamepads. That will come to an end soon as Epic will no longer match them together. The studio’s Community Manager Nathan Mooney posted on Reddit that more information will be made available next week, but do trust that if you are using a keyboard and mouse, you will be against other players who are using the same.


Rythm Action Game Soundfall Announced for PC and Consoles

Drastic Games has officially revealed their new music-driven, action twin-shooting game Soundfall. It is currently in development for the PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It doesn’t have a release date yet, but the game is planned for a 2019 release. The game follows the main character named Melody, who must find a way to save her world. The game features a world, enemies and loot that are procedurally-generated by musical elements. A hands-on demo of the game will be playable during PAX West, EGX, and PAX Australia.


Metro Exodus Goes on WorldWide Demo Tour

4A Games and Deep Silver have announced that the game Metro Exodus will have a hands-on demo during major gaming events before it officially launches on February 22, 2019. First stop will be GamesCom on August 22 to 25, then PAX West in Seattle from August 31 – September 3, after that will be on EGX in Birmingham, UK from September 20 to 23, then in Igromir, during the Paris Games Week. Scarf Set for PC Release This Winter

THQ Nordic and Uprising Studios have a charming 3D platform adventure game coming out this winter for PC and it is called Scarf. The game follows a charming protagonist named Hyke, and with his trusty, red polymorphic scarf, he can morph into different objects. Scarf offers beautiful scenarios as well as an amazing story fit for all audiences. A visual and narrative gameplay is expected even though it won’t have any text. Go ahead and step into a magical world with unique mythology with Scarf!


Young Souls Announced

A new game from French publisher The Arcade Crew and developer 1P2P has been revealed. The game is called Young Souls, a beat-’em-up role-playing game that tells a story about “life, family, adventure, and saving the world.” The main characters are siblings named Jenn and Tristen who were mocked because of their hair and for being different. The game is fully playable either in solo or co-op. The game is yet to get an official release date.


Warhammer 40K Mechanicus Release Date Announced

The turn-based tactical game Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is announced to launch sometime late this year and it will be available for PC, Mac, and Linux. The game puts players in control of different Adeptus Mechanicus forces on a quest to recover some ancient technologies from the planet Silva Tenebris specifically the Necron tomb. You will get to play as Magos Dominus Faustinius of Mars and you will head your team through the missions ahead. You must choose your path carefully for the Imperium.


PES 2019 Demo Available Now

Pro Evolution Soccer fans, this is for you! Konami has announced that a demo for Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is now available for players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One! the demo lets players experience exhibition match, online quick match, and offline CO-OP match modes which are playable in one of these two stadiums: FC Barcelona’s Camp Nou, or FC Schalke 04’s VELTINS Arena. Ten teams plus national sides are available for selection. PES 2019 will be available on August 28th; players in Europe would have to wait until the 30th for its release.


Destiny 2’s Dreaming City Shown in New Forsaken Trailer

Bungie has released a new trailer for Destiny 2’s upcoming Forsaken expansion. The trailer showcases the Dreaming City, and it is described as the game’s “largest endgame experience ever.” The city contains ancient mysteries waiting to be discovered as well as riddles. Players will face a “terrible evil” that lurks within the city as well as deal with corruption that plagues the tower’s halls. Destiny 2 Forsaken is set to be released September 4th on PC and consoles.
