Anthem Celebrates N7 Day with Mass Effect Javelin Skins
Anthem is celebrating N7 Day, Mass Effect’s anniversary which falls on the 7th of November each year, with new javelin skins. The four new javelin skins are themed after the characters from the original Mass Effect trilogy. The skins are: Garrus for the Ranger, Liara for the Storm, Krogan for the Colossus, and Quarian for the Interceptor. Each skin costs 61,000 Coins or 850 Shards, which is roughly 8 US Dollars in real money. A new Mass Effect emote, the Shepard Shuffle, has also been added in the in-game store.
Dragon Quest Builders 2 Jumbo Demo for Switch and PS4 Announced
Square Enix has announced a Jumbo demo for Dragon Quest Builders 2 on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. According to the announcement which was posted through Nintendo of America’s Twitter account, the Jumbo demo will be open starting November 6th. The “supersized demo” will allow players to play “up until Furrowfield Island.” The official Dragon Quest Twitter handle also added that players will be able to transfer their saved data to the game’s full version should they decide to purchase it.
Rocket League’s Blueprints System Detailed
Psyonix has revealed details on its upcoming Blueprint system that will replace loot crates. The system will be launched as part of an update that they will be rolling out sometime this December. The Blueprints, once live, will replace loot crates. Players will be given a chance to grab a blueprint for a specific item after each game. They can create it immediately using credits, or trade it with a friend, or even save it for later. Full details on the Blueprint system can be found in Psyonix’s website.
Nintendo Switch Sells Over 10 Million Units in Japan
Nintendo has revealed that the Nintendo Switch has sold over 10 million units in Japan alone. This number comes just over two and a half years since it launched on March 3, 2017. The figure includes sales from the original Switch as well as the handheld-only Switch Lite. In worldwide numbers, lifetime Switch sales reached around 42 million units. As of October 2019, 10 million units have been sold throughout Europe and over 15 million units in North America.
Red Dead Redemption 2 PC Players Report Crashing Issues
Red Dead Redemption 2 has finally launched on PC, but players have been reporting crashing issues. A lot of players have also reported that the launcher even fails to open. Rockstar Games has fortunately responded to players, and has released an update that fixes the crashing problems. The update specifically fixes the Rockstar Games Launcher as well as issues with the Epic Games Launcher. Rockstar is yet to address other issues including problems related to its audio and FPS drops.
Payday 2 Gets New DLC
Payday 2 is finally getting a new DLC for almost a year since its last one was released. The DLC is called Silk Road, while Overkill did not reveal details at this time, the company said they will release more information on November 7th. The new Border Crossing Heist, on the other hand, will be released on the same day. Back in October, Starbreeze announced that new content for Payday 2 are in development, and not all of them will be launched for free.
Apex Legends Bug Letting Players Attack Before Match Starts
Apex Legends’ latest update has dropped, however it also brought in a bug that lets players attack each other even before a match starts. The bug occurs at the loading screen before a match just before players jump from the dropship, and players have reported that they have been experiencing the bug in Duos and in a regular three-on-three match. One Twitch streamer also showed how the bug also affects teammates, although it’s worth noting that Apex Legends does not have a friendly fire feature.
Black Ops 4 Update Makes Nuketown Permanent
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s Nuketown is now a permanent feature in the game’s Playlist Tab. This went live with the game’s new 1.25 update. Nuketown has been a fan favorite, and it first launched in the original Black Ops back in 2010 and has since been reimagined for succeeding Black Ops games. The map features a small suburbia inside the grounds of a nuclear testing facility. The 1.25 update also includes other big changes, details of which are available on Reddit.
Details for PUBG Global Championship Revealed
More details on PUBG Global Championship 2019 have been revealed. This tournament will feature a huge roster of 16 teams, which are divided into two groups. Group One includes Tempo Storm and FaZe Clan, the top finishers from the National and European PUBG League. It also has prominent teams such as G2 Esports, Gen.G, and Natus Vincere. Group Two houses PUBG Korea League champions OGN Entus Force with most of the top teams from the Oceanic region. The top eight teams from the group stage will be heading to the semifinals.
League of Legends’ True Damage Skins Arriving in Patch 9.22
Riot Games has announced a new supergroup for this year. The group is True Damage, and it is composed of Ekko, Senna, Qiyana, Yasuo, and Akali. As part of the group’s debut, they will be donning True Damage skins which will arrive when Patch 9.22 rolls out. These skins will include Prestige Edition skins from Louis Vuitton for True Damage Qiyana and Senna. Riot is also going to release a new song to accompany the skins’ release. True Damage skins go live November 10th, the same day as the World 2019 finals where the group’s song will also debut.
The Lord of the Rings Online Minas Morgul Expansion Revealed
The Lord of the Rings Online gets a new expansion called Minas Morgul. This new expansion will have players discovering the “secrets and visions of the Second Age”. This will also raise the level cap to 130 plus it will be adding seven new instances. There will be a 12-person raid that features Shelob the spider and about 250 new quests. The expansion’s Standard Edition is available for $40 USD, the Collector’s Edition at $80 USD and the Ultimate Fan Bundle at $130 USD.
Fortnite’s New Weapon is the Harpoon Gun
With the new chapter of Fortnite comes a new weapon which is the Harpoon Gun. This had been a fan request for a long time now. The Harpoon Gun is a Rare item that can hold just 10 shots, in order to refill its ammo, you just have to find another Harpoon Gun to have 10 new shots. This can deal 75 damage to players and 150 damage to structures. Hitting a player with a Harpoon will drag that player close to you, and you can deal more damage. This can also be used to fish.
New Apex Legends Update Comes with Duos Mode and a Firing Range
Respawn has a new update for Apex Legends and it comes with a new Duos mode and a firing range. The Duos mode is a limited-time mode that has gone live along with the launch of the new update and will let players play the game in twos, instead of the traditional three. The new firing range is a great addition as well, ‘coz players are able to try out a character first before making the purchase. The firing range can be tried solo or as a squad. Human: Fall Flat New Level Announced
Human: Fall Flat has is a long-running game launching in 2016. This fun puzzle-platformer co-op game is still going strong as No Brakes Games is still adding levels to it. The new level is called the Ice level and it is available for free and what’s great about it is that players will have access to snowboards as well as a ski lift. The free DLC is now available for the PlayStation and PC. It will be launching for the Nintendo Switch on the 7th and on the Xbox One on the 8th.

No More Heroes 3 is “35-40 Percent Complete”
Suda 51 was able to share some updates about No More Heroes 3 regarding how far along the game is right now. According to Suda 51, the game is “about 35-40 percent complete”. He additionally said that Grasshopper Manufacturer does make some huge games, but No More Heroes 3 won’t be one of them. The game will have a bigger open world but “it won’t be as big as something you see from huge companies like Ubisoft or Rockstar”. More information will be available by next year.
The Sims 4 New Expansion Discover University Revealed
The Sims 4 has a new expansion pack called Discover University, where players get to experience the university life. Get to choose from two universities to enter. For a prestigious post-secondary education, choose the University of Britechester and for a more modern schooling, you can go to the Foxbury Institute. There will be a dorm, different majors to choose from and extracurricular activities. The Sims 4: Discover University will launch on November 15 for PC and December 17 for PS4 and Xbox One.

A new game called The Hive has been announced by 3 Day Monk. The game is a mix of multiplayer combat, boss fights and events. With every major content update, the events will be changing. There will be new areas to discover, gear to collect, and the chance to improve your characters. When players die, they will be losing what they have gathered. There will be medium to large open maps to explore. The Hive is set to launch for the PC by 2020.
Invasion 2037 Announced to Launch by the Fourth Quarter of 2020
A survival, post-apocalyptic world is now available on Steam Early Access and it is called Invasion 2037. The game is a combination of management and survival, action and open-world games.
