Amazon UK Leaks Watch Dogs Legion Ahead of E3

A big new game from Ubisoft was just leaked by Amazon UK. A listing for Watch Dogs Legion appeared on the site and was first spotted by The Nerd Mag. The game is supposedly set in London and is closely tied with current events. The description described the setting as “a post-Brexit world in which society, politics, and technology have changed and altered London’s fortune.” Also, it seems that players will be able to play as any character present in the game. Ubisoft has declined to say anything as they say they don’t comment on rumours.


Shenmue Suffers Another Delay, Now Launching in November

Shenmue 3 has been delayed yet again. The game was originally meant to launch at the end of 2017 but was pushed back to the first half of 2018. Then, it was delayed by over a year to August 2019. Now, series creator Yu Suzuki has posted a Kickstarter update announcing that the game will now launch on November 19th. Suzuki said that the game is almost ready but “needs a little more refinement before being truly finished.” Shenmue 3 once broke Kickstarter’s funding record back in 2015. Hopefully, this is the last delay for the game.


The Surge 2 Release Date Possibly Leaked by Australian Microsoft Store

Microsoft Store Australia may have just leaked the release date for Focus Home Interactive’s The Surge 2. The storefront’s listing for the game shows that the game will be launching on September 23rd later this year. The price listed converts to about sixty US dollars, so the listing seems to be for a standard version of the game. The fact that this leak happened so close to E3 adds currency to its validity, but we can’t be sure until an official announcement is made. Thankfully, E3 is just around the corner so we should hear something soon.


Destiny 2’s “Crown of Sorrow” Raid Live Now

Bungie has recently launched Destiny 2’s latest raid. Dubbed Crown of Sorrow, it sends six players on a treasure hunt in an infested Leviathan. The raid is part of Season of Opulence, the final DLC included in the Annual Pass. Season of Opulence will add new Exotics, raids, quests and other secrets, the releases of which will be spread out over three months. In case you were wondering what’s next for Destiny 2 with the conclusion of the Annual Pass, Bungie has scheduled a live stream for just that on June 6th at 6 PM BST.


Get Rayman Origins on PC for Free by Watching a Rayman 2 Speedrun

Speedrunner Glackum will be joining Ubisoft at E3 2019 to attempt to reclaim the speedrun world-record for Rayman 2. Ubisoft will be streaming the event on June 10th at 6:30 PM BST or 7:30 PM CEST in honour of the game’s twentieth anniversary. Ubisoft will also be giving away free copies of Rayman Origins on PC to viewers of the stream. All you have to do to qualify is make sure that your Ubisoft account is linked to your Twitch account and watch the stream for at least thirty minutes on Ubisoft’s Twitch channel.


R-Type Final 2 Kickstarter Campaign Launched

Developer Granzella has launched the Kickstarter campaign for R-Type Final 2. The crowdfunding campaign will run for a week while aiming for forty-five million yen or roughly three hundred and seventy thousand euros. There are stretch goals lined up as well, including one that will result in one hundred and two playable “R-crafts” if funding reaches two and a half million US dollars. The project is headed by Kazuma Kujo who is best known for In the Hunt, the Metal Slug series and the R-Type series. The developers are targeting a 2020 release.


The Division 2 Introduces New Gunner Specialization

Massive Entertainment recently introduced a new gunner specialization to The Division 2. This addition grants players access to an all-new weapon, talent tree, and abilities for end-game agents. Previously, the only existing specialists were the Sharpshooter, Survivalist, and Demolitionist. The Gunner focuses on dishing out sustained damage from the open. This class is currently playable on the public test servers. The public release date is expected to be sometime in June.


Square Enix Might Start Working on Dragon Quest Xll Soon

Square Enix is reportedly getting ready to work on Dragon Quest XII. It could possibly be just a “series developments that will connect to XII,” but it is still exciting news for Dragon Quest fans in particular. This came about when series producer Yuu Miyake referenced the game via a livestream saying “By the way, about Dragon Quest XII, which I’m sure is on everyone’s mind Horii and I are currently making preparations on series developments that will connect to XII.


New Crash Team Racing Video Brandishes 2 Courses

PlayStation Underground recently released a video, brandishing a full 15 minutes of gameplay from Activision’s upcoming kart racer Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. In the video, two exciting tracks were showcased. One of the said tracks is the fully remade Dragon Mines and the other is titled Retro Stadium. If all goes according to plan, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled will grace the gaming world with its presence on June 21 for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.


EA Announces FIFA 20 Gameplay Changes

FIFA publisher EA has already begun announcing incoming changes that will be present in the upcoming installment in the revered series, FIFA 20. EA said there will be larger emphasis and incentive placed on manual defending as opposed to automatic defending. Shooting is also being revamped, with attackers given greater accuracy during easy shooting scenarios and goalkeepers’ reaction times will be reduced in these situations as well. Ghost of Tsushima Coming in 2020

Cyberpunk 2077’s Ghost of Tsushima has now expanded the list of big releases expected in 2020. The developers were originally aiming for a late 2019 release but recent development has rendered this goal highly unlikely. According to popular journalist Jason Schreier 2020 is indeed a more realistic release window. Though unlikely, fans will be looking to E3 2019 in hopes that there will be more news regarding the stealth-themed action-adventure game.


Euro Truck Simulator 2 Gets Geralt’s Voice For Its GPS

Euro Truck Simulator 2 is getting Doug Cockle as the voice of the GPS in the game. If you are not familiar with the name Doug Cockle, you are surely familiar with his work. He actually is the voice of The Witcher’s Geralt. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, you will get to hear him say, “You’re going too fast!”, “get ready to turn left” and other things that GPS’ usually say. Although the voice doesn’t really sound like that of Geralt as the character all the time but you will definitely hear, hints of Geralt in it still.


Hearthstone Rise of the Mech Update Now Available

The newest Hearthstone update is here and it is update 14.4 or the Rise of the Mech update. This comes with buffs available for every class, some quality of life changes like improved reconnection options as well as matchmaking. There are also new arena set rotations, some new card backs as well as a free golden SN1P-SN4P. A new Mulligan rule is coming to the Magic: The Gathering as announced by Wizards of the Coast. The implementation of the system will start in July. The game actually had different versions of the Mulligan system in the past, all of which had been first greeted with outrage from the players, who eventually accepted it and became fond of the new design. The newest Mulligan rule, however, had been stress-tested at a recent tournament. The results were good enough to push through with the change.


Next Studios Upcoming Fighting Game is Metal Revolution

NEXT Studios has an upcoming fighting game called Metal Revolution. The game has a “cyberpunk robot” theme that has very minimalistic controls as well as a deep gameplay. Each character in the game will have their own unique ultimate skill that they can execute in style. This will come with some standard modes like ranked play, quick match, arcade mode as well as a training mode. A story mode is also in the plans. Remedy Entertainment and 505 Games was able to share a couple of screenshots for their upcoming game Control. Tour de France 2019 Will Launch on June 27th

The Tour de France 2019 which is a video game adaptation of the famous race will be launching on June 27th for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The cover of the game will be Peter Sagan, the BORA-Hansgrohe team cyclist and three-time world champion. The game will come with two modes which are the Online Multiplayer Mode and the World Championships. The Online Multiplayer Mode will pit you and four other players in short racers. The World Championships allow players to lead a national team.
