Fortnite Content Update v10.20 Revealed

A new content update is now available for Fortnite! This is the v10.20 update and it includes a Zapper Trap, a floating island and Kevin the Cube and many more. The Zapper Trap is now available and can be attached to both sides of a surface and can inflict 50 damage to opponents. The floating island and the Kevin the Cube, are now back too, plus, they now come with a motel! Little Misfortune Launch Date Announced

You will soon be able to play as Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez as Killmonday Game’s Little Misfortune will be arriving this month on the 18th. Get to play in an interactive story where you will be the receiving end of the consequences all for the promised eternal happiness that Mr. Voice is assuring. You will fall in love, commit small crimes and even pet different kinds of pets. Travel through autumnal forests, sewers and more. Little Misfortune is available on Steam, Origin, Itch, and GOG.


Negative Atmosphere Teaser Trailer Revealed by Sunscorched Studios

Sunscorched Studios has shared a new teaser trailer for their upcoming space horror game called Negative Atmosphere. We don’t know much about the game right now but basing on the trailer, it looks like you will be on an abandoned massive space vessel where something might have gone terribly wrong. The enemy is a necromorph-type alien with long limbs as well as long fingers that can pierce through a human skull. No release date is available for the game as of right now.


Monster Hunter World: Iceborn Reveals Rajang as Post-Launch Monster

Monster Hunter World: Iceborn has announced its post-launch monster called Rajang. He is an ape-like beast that comes with imposing horns and huge strong arms. He can shoot lightning bolts from his mouth and has a “Rage Mode” that will turn its fur into golden brown and make him much more unruly than before. This beast will be available on the console version of Monster Hunter World: Iceborn by October and it is unclear right now when Rajang will be arriving for PCs.


Torchlight 2 Switch Lite-focused Update Might Be Available in the Future

Perfect World Entertainment and Panic Button’s Torchlight 2 has launched for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. To celebrate, a launch trailer had been shared for the game. This will come with everything from the original game plus new trophies and achievements and tweaked controls plus exclusive pets. Another thing is that that Technical Director Andy Boggs said is that a Torchlight 2 Switch Lite-focused update will be available in the future if enough demands are met.


Dave Bautista Joins Gears 5 as Playable Character

Former WWE superstar Dave Bautista has announced that he will playable in Gears 5. In a tweet, Bautista said, “Play as me in #Gears5 starting Sept 15 after @WWE Clash of Champions.” Included in his tweet is a short clip of him wearing his suit, with on-screen text that says, “Batista Comes to Gears 5.” Fans of the franchise have been campaigning for The Coalition to let Bautista star in the Gears 5 movie as Marcus Fenix, and his inclusion to the game could be a positive sign.


Code Vein PS4 and Xbox One Demo Available Now

Bandai Namco has announced that a free demo for Code Vein on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One is available now. This new demo will have players try the game’s beginning area as well as a sample of “The Depths.” The demo will also include access to the game’s character creator. Code Vein will be launching on September 27th for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.


Steampunk Adventure Game 80 Days Coming to Switch

Inkle’s adventure game 80 Days is set to arrive on the Nintendo Switch on October 1st. The game was based from Jules Verne’s classic travel story, “Around the World in 80 Days” but with a steampunk twist. Players will play as Passepartout, the ever-so-faithful servant of Phileas Fogg, the main character from the novel. As Passepartout, players will be tasked to chart a course around the world, and travel by land, air and sea in over 170 possible destinations.


Specialist Roles Arrive in Red Dead Online Next Week

Specialist Roles will be arriving in Red Dead Online soon. These will be part of the game’s Summer Update which will roll out on September 10th. The update will introduce three Specialist Roles: Bounty Hunter, Collector, and Trader. To begin each one, players will have to shell out 15 Gold. Players on PS4 can become Traders for free, while those with Twitch Prime subscription can get a free Bounty Hunter License. The Summer Update will also include gameplay improvements in addition to the Specialist Roles.


Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate to Include Ryu Hayabusa

Koei Tecmo announced that Ryu Hayabusa will be joining Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate. Hayabusa is a returning character who has previously been in the Warriors Orochi series, but took a five-year hiatus. Hayabusa will be joining other playable characters in the game, including Joan of Arc, and the goddess Gaia. Warriors Orochi 4 Ultimate will launch in February 2020.


Borderlands 3 Can Be Preloaded on PC

Epic Games chief Tim Sweeney previously announced that it might not be possible for Borderlands 3 to be preloaded on PC, but now it looks like things have changed as the game will soon be available for preloading on the Epic Games Store. Preloading for PC will be available starting September 10th, at 7PM EDT. Players on consoles will be able to preload theirs starting September 11th at midnight.


Free Character Moves for WoW Classic Announced for Some Server

Blizzard is gearing up to release WoW Classic free character moves for some select servers. This is in an effort to help adjust player counts on certain World of Warcraft Classic servers which will, in turn, enable some players to make the absent cost. This news came via a forum post crafted by WoW’s community manager. According to the post, when the server moves arrive, players will see the option to start a transfer on either the character select screen or the realm queue screen.


Destiny 2 New Update Patch Notes Shared

Bungie recently promised Destiny 2 players a new Patch and now the developer has released the Patch Notes for the promised patch. This next update will be Update 2.5.2.2 and come bearing quite a few very welcomed changes. These changes are geared towards addressing a variety of common complaints regarding some hard-to-obtain weapons, item management and Reckoning and more. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Announced

The closed beta of Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been announced and it will be running starting September 5th to 8th. The closed beta will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. This is open for those who pre-order the game, as well as those who are subscribed to the Uplay plus for PC and those who were able to participate in the Breakpoint’s Online Technical Tests. If you are not a part of any of those, there will be a number of randomly picked players who signed up at ghostrecon.com/beta.


New Super Hero KO Mode Announced for Madden NFL 20

Madden NFL 20 is getting a new mode called the Superstar KO. This is a new mode that offers a co-op elimination letting you team up with your friends. There will be eight premade teams that you can choose from and a truncated 3v3 Madden games in the singular Superstar KO Stadium. The basic idea for this is to get players in and out of games within five minutes which will give the game a faster pace with a more streamlined style football. You can do the matchmaking by yourself but no option to play against CPU.

More Assassin’s Creed Games Coming to Switch

Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag and Assassin’s Creed: Rogue have been confirmed to be coming to Nintendo Switch, according to a listing publicized by a forummer on ResetEra from online retailer The Console Club. Apparently, these titles are acting as placeholders for what appears to be an Assassin’s Creed bundle for Switch featuring remastered versions of Black Flag and Rogue. December 6 was also referenced on the list however it doesn’t state if it is a release date.


DuckTales is Crossing-over to Minecraft

A Minecraft and DuckTales crossover is here with the DuckTales mash-up pack. This will come with numerous character skins that include McDuck, Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby, Gizmoduck, and Darkwing Duck. This will also include two storylines that will have 50 collectibles that players are able to display at the McDuck trophy room. This can be bought on the Minecraft Marketplace for 1340 coins.


Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is Out Now

Activision has is pleased to announce that the 3D platformer adventure game Spyro: Reignited Trilogy has been added to the Steam Store. The package includes the original Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto’s Rage and Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The announcement was also accompanied by a trailer that displayed some clips of the fantastical world that vintage Spyro fanatics know and love. The trilogy is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.


A New Multiplayer Mode is Coming to Civilization 6

A new multiplayer mode is coming to Civilization 6 and lead producer Dennis Shirk shared some of the changes that are coming. The most notable is that there will be six additional maps for the game. One of the maps is called Terra which borders Primordial. This location hides the mysteries of the New World. There will also be a mix of terrain types as well as Mirror Maps. Coastal cities will be more available which adds a significant boost to the Great Admirals. This new mode will arrive “soon”.


Launch Date for We Were Here Together Announced

The launch date of We Were Here Together has been announced. The game offers a first-person cooperative puzzle gameplay. Play as Antarctic explorers. You will need your co-op partner’s help in order to be your eyes and ears. This time around players are able to go out of Castle Rock but will eventually find themselves inside once again. The puzzles in the game require good communication in order to solve it. We Were Here Together will be launching on October 10, 2019, for PC.


The Dragon Clan Update for Armello Now Available

A new Armello DLC has been announced and it comes with a new story, heroes, and so much more. The update is called the Dragon Clan Update and it will come with new characters like Volodor the Wormchanter, Agniya the Revenant, Oxana the Sentinel and Nazar the Worm’s Will. There will also be six new signets, an amulet, in-game novella as well as an all-new quest system. The new update is available on Steam for PC, Mac and Linux.


Solasta: Crown of the Magister Opens Kickstarter

Tactical Adventures, a French indie developer has announced their newest project which is a tactical role-playing game called Solasta Crown of the Magister. The project is now available as a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter and a one-hour pre-alpha demo of Solasta: Crown of the Magister is now available for free on Steam. The game offers a tactical CRPG, three-dimensional world, a team-based adventure, and a deep underground dungeon. No specific launch date is available for right now.
