NBA 2K19 MyCareer Mode’s First Chapter Out Now

The Prelude, also known as the first chapter, of NBA 2K19’s MyCareer mode is out now. The player’s character will be starting off in the Chinese Basketball League and hone his basketball skills – this is quite different from previous MyCareers which lets the player start through the NBA route. After going through the Chinese Basketball League, players will then go through the G League (The NBA developmental league). Players who download the prelude will also be able to download the first chapter of The Way Back for free.


FIFA 19 PC System Requirements Revealed

EA’s FIFA 19 is almost here and we have for you the PC system requirements for the game. It will work with a minimum operating system of Windows 7 64 bit, a CPU of Core i3-2100 or an AMD Phenom II X4 965 at 3.4 GHz. The minimum graphics processing unit is an NVIDIA GTZ 460 or an AMD Radeon R7 260. The RAM is 8 GB and the Hard Drive Space needed is 50 GigaBytes. Of course, anything higher than this can play the game optimally. FIFA 19 will launch on September 28, 2018, for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.


Ubisoft’s Rayman Makes His Fighting Game Debut in Brawlhalla

Rayman, the protagonist from Ubisoft’s Rayman franchise, will be heading over to Brawlhalla and will be making his first fighting game debut! This was confirmed by Brawlhalla in a tweet. Rayman will be added to the game’s roster on November 6th. Many were hoping that Rayman would be making his debut in a fighting game through Nintendo’s upcoming Switch exclusive, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it looks like it’s not going to happen at this time.


Next Kingdom Come: Deliverance DLC Teased

Warhorse Studios has released a teaser for Kingdom Come:Deliverance’s next DLC. Called the Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon, the DLC will task players to help Sir Hans win the heart of Karolina, the butcher’s daughter. Players will be able to take on this quest by the end of the game, or by making friends with Sir Hans. Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon will be followed by a bunch of other DLCs both free and paid this year until next year.


Turn-based Roguelike Deep Sky Derelicts Leaves Early Access This Month

The turn-based roguelike and card-based game Deep Sky Derelicts is leaving Steam’s Early Access on September 26. Players will get to play as a mercenary or up to three mercenaries that will be exploring abandoned space stations and beating up enemies, searching for loot as well as trading with merchants. Players must upgrade their party as they progress in the game with the use of the items that can be gathered through out the journey. The combat is interesting, with the use of playing cards.


Survival Game Green Hell Now on Early Access

Green Hell, the psychological, first-person survival game from developer Creepy Jar has entered Early Access. Green Hell tasks players to survive in the Amazon rainforest while dealing with enemies, vicious animals, infections, and injuries. Aside from these, players will have to deal with psychological stress. There will also be crafting tools and weapons, starting fires, set traps for animals, and build camps. Developer Creepy Jar plans to release the game in full in three months.


Phantom Doctrine Gets Mod Support

CreativeForge’s turn-based strategy game called Phantom Doctrine will be getting a mod support mainly because the game is a bit boring since the enemies and heroes are somewhat simple, combat is not balanced because there is no one-hit kill for melee takedowns and by choosing the right perks can make your character invisible. A suggestion of a skill tree was made to make your agents feel much more unique. No dates were given as of yet for when the mod support will arrive but it is priority.


New The Divison 2 Gameplay Features Washington D.C. Map

Ubisoft was able to showcase the new map as well as the new gameplay of Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 during the live stream from PAX West in Seattle. The new map is in Washington DC and this will be the game’s new setting. New gameplay has also been seen in the demo showing a downed Air Force One and it looks very different from the previous outing. The Division 2 is expected to release on March 15th 2019 available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with pre-orders for the game already available.


NBA Live 19 PS4 File Size Revealed

NBA Live 19 officially launches on September 7th, and if you’re wondering how much space you’ll need on your Playstation 4, we’ve got your back. According to its product page on the PlayStation Store, the basketball sim will take up 31.84 GB of free space on the hard disk drive. NBA Live 19 launched a 10-hour preview last August 31st for EA Access subscribers on the Xbox One.


Lego DC Super-Villains Season Pass Features Aquaman and Shazam

Lego DC Super-Villains Season Pass has been announced by Warner Brothers and they were able to confirm two new faces that will be added unto the game which are Aquaman and Shazam. Both are based on their upcoming movies which are coincidently of the same name. Also, along with it are six level packs including two Aquaman movie packs, two Shazam movie packs as well as a Batman: The Animated Series and Young Justice packs. Other future characters are Supergirl, Arrow, Black Lighting and The Flash.


Sci-fi RPG Hellpoint Announced for PC and Consoles

An announcement trailer has been released by Cradle Games and tinyBuild for their upcoming occult-themed sci-fi RPG. The game is set in a dilapidated space station that resulted in a ‘massive quantum cataclysm’. You have no idea what caused this and you would have to find out. Dynamic events can happen with the station’s orbit cycles and combat will have a ‘revolutionary’ power crafting system with super natural elements. Launching in 2019 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Switch.

Battlefield 5 Open Beta Pre-Load Now Available

The highly anticipated beta for Battlefield 5 is almost here, and if you’re jumping into the battlefield, the good news is that you can start preloading the beta now on your chosen platform. PC players can start preloading through Origin. Simply visit the Battlefield 5 store page then click the Try It First Button and add the beta client to your library. The Battlefield 5 open beta will be available September 6th. EA/Origin Access subscribers and those who pre-ordered the game get to hop in on the beta 48 hours early.


Windjammers 2 Announced for PC and Switch

French video game company DotEmu has announced Windjammers 2, the sequel to the 1994 game Windjammers. A demo was showcased during PAX West, and it featured two competitors: the returning favorite Wessel, and a new, still-to-be-named character. DotEmu is yet to reveal a release date for Windjammers 2, but it is slated for release on PC and the Nintendo Switch next year. The original Windjammers will be coming to the Switch this year.


Destiny 2 Forsaken Launch Times Revealed

Destiny 2’s next big expansion, Forsaken, is set to launch September 4th, and we’ve got the details on when exactly it will launch. First of all, Bungie will be conducting a maintenance for Destiny 2’s Update 2.0.0.1 starting at 7AM PDT. During this time, players won’t be able to access the game. The maintenance is expected to conclude by 10AM PDT, and Destiny 2 Forsaken will now be playable on all platforms. Forsaken will bring massive changes to the game, including new missions, gear, and modes.


Fortnite Adds Grappling Hook in New Update

The battle royale phenomenon which is Fortnite by Epic Games introduced a new device that will let players traverse higher grounds and it is called the Grappler. This new device is a part of the “High Stakes” event which will also be available in the multiplayer shooter very soon. Players will be able to fire this around 10-15 times only but it is sure helpful in scaling buildings or hills or even get your character out of a tight spot. The device looks kinda off because of the plunger.


Battlefield 1 Premium Pass Free for a Week After Open Beta

EA DICE has something in store for Battlefield 1 players! If you own the Battlefield 1 base game, you can get the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass for free after Battlefield 5’s open beta run. The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass will be free from September 11th until September 18th. Players who download the Premium Pass within the said dates will keep it forever. This is good news as the Premium Pass adds a huge chunk of content to Battlefield 1 including all the expansions.


New Spider-Man DLC Trailer Reveals Black Cat

Marvel’s Spider-Man is releasing very soon, but before that, Insomniac Games shared with us a post-launch trailer that is about the Black Cat! She is a character in the first chapter of Spider-Man’s The City That Never Sleeps DLC campaign. We are not sure though if she’s an ally or an enemy, she could possibly be both. This first chapter will be coming on October 23rd. The next chapter is called Turf Wars which will be available by November and the last one, Silver Lining will be arriving on December.


Turn-Based Mech Strategy Game Phantom Brigade Announced

Brace Yourself Games has given us a peek at their currently-in-development turn-based tactical RPG Phantom Brigade. The game lets players take on the role of one of the last surviving mech pilots. The squad’s mission is to capture the enemy’s equipment and facilities. The game brings a cinematic spin on the turn-based tactical genre, plus it also allows players to customize their mechs. It also has destructible environments. Phantom Brigade does not have a release date at this time.


The Division 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Demos to be Featured at EGX 2018

EGX 2018 will be in Birmingham from September 21 to 24 and Ubisoft will be attending as well. Ubisoft will be bringing demos for players to try out for The Division 2 and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The Division 2 offers a four-player co-operative demo and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will let players try out a mission as either Alexios or Kassandra. Both games will be available as their Xbox One versions. The Division 2 will launch on March 15, 2019, and Assassin’s Creed Odyssey on October 5, 2018.


F1 2018 Still Sits on Top of the UK Sales Chart for Second Week

Codemasters’ F1 2018 still sits at the top of the UK Sales Chart for the second week! The racing game still reigns supreme in sales and puts Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 in second place. Last week’s second placer, Shenmue 1 and 2, dropped a whopping 29 places below the ladder, and now sits at number 33. GTA 5 is still going strong at number 3, followed by Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy at number 4. The fifth spot belongs to Yakuza Kiwami 2.


Devil May Cry 5 Photo Mode Feature Confirmed

Capcom’s Devil May Cry 5 has confirmed that it will have the photo mode which most games already have right now. The confirmation was done during a panel interview at PAX West. This is a handy mode which could result in amazing screenshots for those who love posting their scenic game photos. Also, confirmed is a gallery mode as well as a training mode. Devil May Cry 5 is expected to launch by March 8, 2019, available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Fortnite Summer Skirmish Grand Finalist Named Via Coin Flip

Fortnite’s Summer Skirmish has named its winner, and they determined it through a coin flip! Two players, The_Real_Cryohme and SSG Colton, tied for the 33rd qualifying spot. Both of them have the same number of Victory Royales, the same number of eliminations, and the same placement. The organizers deemed it necessary to name a winner through a coin flip instead. The final spot for the Grand Finals went to The_Real_Cryohme, and he also went home with $5,000.
