Kaid and Nomad Won’t Be in Next Rainbow Six Siege Pro Season

Every game with a competitive and or professional scene is subjected the same challenge, of adding new and unique content without offsetting the game’s balance. Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege is no exception as they announce that new operators, Kaid and Nomad won’t be in the next pro season. This was done in an effort to “maintain the game’s competitive integrity” they said. We applaud Ubisoft’s attempts to maintain balance as it also ultimately makes for a better viewing experience.


Overwatch League Team Vancouver Titans Revealed

The 2019 Overwatch League season is set to begin February 14, 2019 and will take place at the Blizzard Arena in Los Angeles, and there’s a new team that will be joining the roster. The new team is the Vancouver Titans, and their logo features a Sasquatch, which is a mythical creature that is associated with the Pacific Northwest. The league now has 20 teams that will be going head to head next year. Another unannounced team from Washington DC is set to be announced soon.


Battlefield 5 Tides of War Update Brings Balance Changes and Interface Tweaks

Battlefield 5’s Tides of War Update launches December 4th, and EA has given players a sneak peek at what’s in store. First of all, the update does not include the tweaks for Time to Kill. The update will include a few tweaks to weapons, though, as well as revive mechanics and medic class balance. There are also some improvements for its interface. This update also does not include the mechanic which allows players to drag downed teammates. More information can be found in the game’s subreddit.


Override: Mech City Brawl Launches December 4th

Override: Mech City Brawl by Modus Games is coming out on Tuesday, December 4th. And to celebrate this a brand new trailer has been shared and it highlights the game’s battles. You can see the different mech fighters, as well as the different abilities available. The abilities are wide ranging from the typical mecha weapons like laser swords and rockets to the unconventional and strange like the giant heart beams. Override: Mech City Brawl will launch of PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta Joins Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2

Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta is coming to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2! He has been announced with a Dragon Ball video game debut which is a Japanese trailer. For those of you who are not familiar, Gogeta is the character that comes out whenever Goku and Vegeta do the Fusion Dance. The announcement of this new character is very timely as the new Dragon Ball film called Dragon Ball Super: Broly will be launching by January. Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.


Star Citizen Game Packages Go On Sale After Securing 7 Million in Funding

Star Citizen’s crowdfunding campaign was able to reach over seven million dollars in just nine days, and to thank everyone they decided to give all the Anniversary 2018 Game Packages at a discount of $10 plus VAT. This includes the base game, a ship plus 72 months of insurance for the ship. The packages also come with the RSI Aurora MR, the Mustang Alpha, the Avenger Stalker, the Reliant Kore, the Cutlass Black, the Hornet F7C, the MISC Freelancer, the MISC Prospector, and the Constellation Andromeda.


Ubisoft Reveals Details on The Division 2’s Weapons and Tools

Ubisoft shared details on their most-anticipated upcoming title The Division 2. They shared some of the information about the new game’s weapons and tools. For the month of December, Ubisoft will be focusing on five different skill categories of the Agents like the Chem Launcher, Drone, Hive, Seeker Mine and Turret. Each of these categories will come with a variety of variants as skills are now specialized abilities. These skills can actually affect any battle’s outcome.


Dragon Ball FighterZ Patch Goes Live

The Dragon Ball FighterZ patch has arrived and it comes with some fixes as well as some changes to the game. The patch notes are quite long, you will be able to see that in the game’s official website, but we have for you the most notable ones listed here. This new patch will come with the FighterZ Tournament mode which had been announced previously. There will also be new Trophies as well as new Z Trophy Rooms. Also, players are able to see the amount of active Dragon Balls during the cutscenes of a match.


More Diablo News to be Revealed in 2019

At this year’s BlizzCon, Diablo fans were quite disappointed when Blizzard announced Diablo Immortal, a mobile game, instead of the next Diablo game, Diablo 4. The company has received backlash since then, and in an attempt to calm down angry fans, Blizzard Community Manager Nevalistis said in the forums that they have more Diablo projects to announce in 2019. Whether this will include Diablo 4 is still anyone’s guess.


Paradox Interactive Brings PDXCON 2019 in Berlin

PDXCON is heading to Germany! Paradox Interactive has announced that PDXCON 2019 will be taking place in Berlin on October 19 to 20, 2019. The event will include debut announcements, appearances, and presentations. Those who are interested to take part in the event can sign up via the Paradox website. Paradox Interactive promises to make the show worthy of a global audience, making it “bigger and bolder than ever before.”


The Walking Dead’s Negan Joins Tekken 7 as DLC

Negan from AMC’s The Walking Dead will be joining Tekken 7, as announced by Bandai Namco last summer. Although the company has not provided a specific release date for him, they have released a brand new gameplay trailer showcasing his moves, and recreates a scene from the series. He is armed with Lucille, his “vampire bat.” Negan will be coming to Tekken 7 as part of its Season Pass. Other new characters joining are Marduk and Armor King, while Anna, Lei, and Julia will round out the roster.

Red Dead Online’s Economy to Be Addressed in First Update

If you have been playing in the Red Dead Online beta, then you know that making money in the game is quite hard. Rockstar is addressing that with new updates that centers on the game’s economy. These are scheduled to arrive this week and it plans to balance out the game to make it more rewarding for the players and make it fun as well. The update will also include some bug fixes that are persistent which have been seen during the launch of the game. Red Dead Online is currently in beta.


Vainglory Coming to PC in 2019

Super Evil Megacorp’s multiplayer online battle arena game Vainglory 4.0 is heading to PC in 2019. The game first released on mobile in 2015. The company is partnering with Netease Inc. in China for a possible cross-platform play feature in the future. Super Evil Megacorp CEO Kristian Segerstrale said that gamers are gamers regardless of device, and he believes everyone deserves to play together regardless of platform and control mechanism. The game is currently in open Alpha.


Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets New Update with PvP Features

Ghost Recon Wildlands is getting a new update as announced by Ubisoft and it is called Special Operations 3. This will be arriving on December 11 and it comes with new PvP features. The update will include a new PvE mission, some in-game rewards, and two new PvP classes that are themed on the new update’s mission. The new theme though is yet to be announced by Ubisoft. Year 2 Pass owners will get instant access to the new PvP classes on December 11, while everyone else gets access a week after.


Fortnite Season 7 Start Date Announced

Epic Games finally announced a start date for Fortnite’s Season 7. The new Fortnite season is set to begin December 6th, and basing from teasers, it appears like the new season will be winter themed with icebergs, a snowboarder, snow-covered map, and probably a thematic new vehicle. We can expect to know more about the new season as it approaches, and of course, through the upcoming The Game Awards, as Fortnite will also be making an appearance there.


Arma 3 Launches Warlords Hybrid Multiplayer Mode

Arma 3 is getting a free multiplayer mode based on fan favorite Capture the Island. The new mode is called Warlords, where two teams start in bases located in both opposites of the island. They make their way through the center, battling neutral enemy NPCs, capturing territory, and gaining resources and new units along the way. Players will then face off until 1 home base remains. The Warlords mode is live now, and you can get it for free if you own the base game.


Dual Universe Launches Into Alpha

NovaQuark’s newest single-server MMO called Dual Universe is launching its public alpha this week. For those who are interested, you will initially have a day to check it out. It is still very new, but you will get to know all about the systems, and the game’s foundation can already be seen. The game will come with some basic harvesting and mining, crafting and assembling, and saving creations as well as sharing it. The game’s economy will be seen by the first half of 2019 and is set to launch by 2020.


Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey Joins The Game Awards 2018

Developer Panache Digital Games announced on Twitter that its third-person open world survival game Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey will be coming to this year’s The Game Awards 2018. Panache Digital’s tweet also mentioned that an extended gameplay sessions with Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Désilets will also be held in a livestream after the show. Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey was first announced as an episodic title, but was since changed last year.


Elite Dangerous – Beyond: Chapter 4 Update Rolls Out Next Week

Frontier Developments announced that Elite Dangerous’ biggest update of 2018, Beyond: Chapter 4, will be launching on December 11th. This update is free for players on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Beyond: Chapter 4 is set to bring two new ships – the Mamba and Krait Phantom, new features that will enrich exploration, advanced mining tools, new Squadrons in multiplayer, visual enhancements, cockpit improvements, and more.


DICE Delays Release of Battlefield 5’s First DLC

DICE announced that they will be delaying the release of Battlefield 5’s first DLC, Tides of War Chapter 1: Overture. The studio said they had to delay the release of the DLC rather than create issues in the game. It further added that they are not looking at a long delay and that they will report back with an update as soon as possible. Chapter 1: Overture will bring in the tank-focused Panzerstorm map which is set in 1940 Belgium.


Fallout 76 Warns Players of AFK Timer in December Patch

A new patch for Fallout 76 is coming this December and it will come with the AFK timer. When the patch drops, players who are inactive for 10 minutes will be kicked out of the game’s server. Also, another thing that is notable that comes with the patch is that the stash limit for players has been increased from 400 pounds to 600 pounds – an extra 200 pounds for you to carry those hard-to-let-go items. The complete patch notes are available in the game’s official site, and it comes with some bug fixes and balances.


Cyberpunk 2077 Won’t Be Making It to The Game Awards

The Game Awards is taking place this week, and CD Projekt RED says that their most awaited title, Cyberpunk 2077, won’t be making any reveals. This has been announced via the community lead Marcin Momot’s Twitter saying, “We’re looking forward to seeing all the reveals and announcements during this year’s @thegameawards, however we’re not going to be showing anything there ourselves. We’ll share more details about @cyberpunkgame when we’re ready.” The Game Awards will start on December 6th.
