Shovel Knight Is Actually A 3D Game!
The side-scrolling platformer Shovel Knight is actually a 3D game as pointed out by YouTuber Shesez. The game’s developers’ Yacht Club Games explains that the game had been actually made through a 3D engine but did not really know what they wanted to do with it when they started. They added that layering the game made it easier for them to port it to other platforms. You can see Shovel Knight as a 3D game with perspective bending which makes the game look like a pop-up book.
New DLC Called ReMind Will Be Arriving For Kingdom Hearts 3
Kingdom Hearts 3 is getting another DLC as announced by director Tetsuya Nomura during the Kingdom Hearts Orchestra: World of Tres. The DLC will be called Re: Mind and will have a Limit Cut Episode and bosses, a Secret Episode and Boss, an optional English voice-over for the Japanese version of the game, a new form of the Keyblade available as a free download with more to be announced about this soon. For right now, we still don’t know how much this DLC will be as well as when it is set to launch.
Relaxing Game Himno Available Now For Free
Developer David Moralejo Sanchez launched a relaxing platformer where the protagonist cannot die and the game is called Himno which is free on Steam. The silent protagonist carries a sword on his back but never really uses it. He will go through procedurally generated levels by sliding, interacting with lifts as well as wall running. There wouldn’t be any enemies, plus mentioned earlier, you will not die, soothing mellow music is also playing in the background making everything so relaxing.
39 Days To Mars Will Have A Switch Port In May
The cute co-op adventure game, 39 Days to Mars will be getting a Switch port on May 16th. The game originally launched for PC last year and, players will get to experience the adventure on the Nintendo Switch. 39 Days to Mars is about two explorers in the 19th century who are attempting to pilot an unpredictable spaceship to get to their destination which is Mars. There will be a lot of mishaps along the way, like the engine running out of coal, and the ship’s cap creating a lot of other problems.
Arma 3’s First Paid DLC Is Called Global Mobilization – Cold War Germany
Arma 3 is getting its very first third-party DLC called Global Mobilization – Cold War Germany. This new DLC offers a new 10-mission singleplayer campaign, more than 40 new vehicles as well as vehicle variants from the 1980’s Cold War Germany map, 17 multiplayer scenarios, a new 419 square kilometers of terrain featuring different weather situations from summer to winter. There will also be 21 new weapon variants plus character assets. This is a paid DLC but the price for it is not announced yet.
Fortnite Removes Sipon And Materials Cap On Core Modes
Due to a lot of complaints, the Sipon and materials cap of Fortnite will only be available for the Arena mode of the game and not in the Core modes. Epic was able to explain that the settings for the Pop-up Cup has been removed from the core game modes because “it increased engagement for the highest-skilled 10% and left the remaining 90% more frustrated” which caused them to play less. Some of the top players like Ninja were not happy about Epic’s decision to remove the Siphon and material cap.
Overwatch Workshop Allows Zelda’s Navi In The Game
The Overwatch Workshop is amazing as two Redditors – andygmb and Lymbow was able to create a code to add Navi to Overwatch. For those who may not be aware, Navi is actually the blue fairy from The Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time who gives information about how to use the game’s controls and will chat you up every now and then and has a hard time shutting up. Well, all thanks to the two redditors, you can experience Navi in Overwatch as well, you will just have to input the code 6WXRW then press “F”.
Skyrim Together The Multiplayer Mod For Skyrim Doesn’t Have a Definitive Launch Date
The development team behind Skyrim Together which is a project by the game’s fans to add multiplayer to Skyrim has made an announcement in the mod’s subreddit. One of the development team named Pokanggg actually just reassured the fans that the development is still ongoing but the progress is quite slow because of some other commitments. Also, they are not able to give an exact release date as there are so many variables to be considered and are not really under their control.
New Minecraft Update Has Villagers Doing Some Weird Things
Minecraft’s newest and most massive update called the Village & Pillage update has caused a lot of oddities in the game. The update is supposed to make a lot of improvements in the game, so it’s normal that it would have a few issues here and there. Examples of these are that the AI of villagers had been stealing beds, breeding in strange places, as well as claiming some player-built lands as their own. Some villagers had also been seen doing crazy and irrational things around town.

Capcom Home Arcade Games Revealed
Capcom officially revealed the Capcom Home Arcade which offers a 2-player arcade stick that has 16 pre-loaded arcade games using HDMI. The games included are: 1944: The Loop Master, Alien vs. Predator, Armored Warriors, Capcom Sports Club, Captain Commando, Cyberbots, Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Eco Fighters, Final Fight, Ghouls ‘n Ghosts, Giga Wing, Mega Man: The Power Battle, Progear, Street Fighter II: Hyper Fighting, Strider, and Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo.
Troy Baker Said That Not Returning To Borderlands 3 Is Not His Choice
The spat between The Troy Baker versus Borderlands 3 persists as he shares that his not returning to the game was not his choice, as he was not even given an opportunity to abandon the post he once held. In an interview with OnlySP, he was rather disgruntled as he said “I think it’s interesting that Randy Pitchford tweeted out that I turned it down, and then he said he heard that I turned it down. I would fact check before I tweeted out to the internet”. Borderlands 3 is due out on September 13, 2019.
The Division 2’s Update 3 On The PTS Is Now On Phase 2
Massive Entertainment has opted to segment The Division 2’s update 3 into phases. This allows for a more structured approach with how the developers iron out player reported bugs, consequently making it easier to release patch notes after each phase. The developers have already posted the patch notes for Title Update 3 Phase 2. Players who are interested in seeing said notes can do so by visiting the game’s official website. The Division 2 is set to go live next month.
Isometric RPG Druidstone Available For Pre-Order On Steam
Ctrl Alt Ninja Ltd. has announced that its brand new game Druidstone, will be releasing on May 15, 2019. More specifically, It’s an isometric RPG with tactical, turn-based combat that has players anxiously anticipating its release. In addition to the awesome combat system, the game has quite a bit of puzzle-solving which appeals to players who like cognitive intensive titles. It is a very good time to be Nintendo as Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is now the best-selling Switch title, and players have purchased approximately 35 million units of the Nintendo Switch. These amazing milestones became public knowledge when the company released its Q4 and fiscal year 2018 results. Switch sold 16.95 million units for the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2019. This is lovely news for Nintendo fans as this means the company will remain a dominant force.
New Mod Allows Mortal Kombat 11 To Run At 60 FPS
A modder by the name of Endri Lauson has figured out a way to get Mortal Kombat 11 running in ultrawide resolutions and at 60 frames-per-second. This is a welcomed effort because players have not been particularly enthused about having their FPS reduced to 30 whilst in the menus or while performing fatalities. Once players have the mod installed, they can press F11 to cap their FPS at 60 and they can press F10 to remove the black bars that appear on ultra wide monitors.
A New Test Patch Was Made Available For The Division 2’s Player Test Server
The Division 2’s player test server has received a new test patch which has added more Dark Zone loot and has increased the time it takes a player to kill another player. The changes to take effect will affect skills, gear attributes, recalibration and weapon damage values. Professional streamer Philza’s five-year run in Minecraft’s permadeath mode has come to an abrupt heartbreaking end. He was traversing the environment as he has done for the past half decade when a flaming baby zombie in enchanted armor charged him, terminating his monumental run. It all happened live on his stream where viewers expressed empathy and showered him with support. Philza sat in his chair moments thereafter verbally scolding himself for what he describes as “a stupid way to die”.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses Introduces Edelgard
Nintendo and Intelligent Systems has introduced another one of the main characters that will appear in Fire Emblem: Three Houses. The said character goes by the name of Edelgard and is a proud and dignified leader of the House of the Black Eagles and the Imperial Princess of the Adrestian Empire. The developers gave her a grand entrance by announcing her with a trailer, screenshots of her character model and some of her artwork. Fire Emblem: Three Houses will be released on July 26, 2019.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Receives A Labo VR Update
Nintendo recently released a labo VR update for Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Since the update dropped, players have been expressing in chorus how happy they are that the loading times have become noticeably faster. Long loading times often serve as a deterrent for many gamers as no one likes to sit idly watching anything load. However, the primary function of the update was to include VR support for the game which was well received and cheered on by the players.
Hideo Kojima Shares More Information About Death Stranding
Hideo Kojima shared a little more information about his upcoming game called Death Stranding during the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City this week. He shares that it is an open-world action game, but is also something very new. He further said that everything is connected to the internet but is actually not connected in the real world. That metaphor is the basis of the game where the “player will have to reconnect the world in the game.” We will know more about the game soon.
Borderlands 3 Livestreams On Twitch Will Have ECHOcast
Borderlands 3 is getting its first-ever livestreams on Twitch and it will have the new Borderlands 3 ECHOcast Extention. The extension will give viewers the chance to go through the loadouts, backpacks, and skill trees of streamers. This will also come with a rare chest promotional event which will allow viewers to get a chance to pick up some nice items. Each livestreamer will have four hidden Red Chests during this event. And views will have a limited amount of time to open it and pick an item.
