Modern Warfare’s Gunfight Getting 1v1 and 3v3 Modes

1-versus-1 and 3-versus-3 modes are coming to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Gunfight Mode. This was confirmed by Infinity Ward’s Co-Design Director of Multiplayer Joe Cecot on Twitter when a fan asked if the developer will be adding 3v3 in Gunfight Mode. Cecot replied with, “At some point, also 1v1!” Although Cecot did not mention an exact timeframe on when these will be added, it’s good to know they have other plans for the popular Gunfight Mode in the near future.


New City Building Sim New Cities Announced

City-building fans, a new city-building sim is in the works and is due for release in Spring of 2020. The game is New Cities, and it is being developed by Lone Pine. It is currently available in Early Access on Steam, and the developer is also seeking crowdfunding in IndieGoGo. New Cities is reminiscent of city-building games of the 90’s, and features a camera players can move around. Buildings can also be customized and players can also check out different textures, giving players freedom to customize their city completely.


PvP Multiplayer Game Earthbreakers Announced for PC

Team-based PvP multiplayer game Earthbreakers has been announced, and is set to launch for PC in 2020. The game is set in the year 2060, and features two different factions with 12 FPS infantry classes, 11 Structures, and 6 drivable vehicles. It also features multiple location maps, support for up to 32 players per team, and more. The game blends RTS and FPS elements as players battle for territory and resources.


Last Year Launches on Steam December 10th

Elastic Games is launching a new horror game, Last Year, which is some sort of a re-release of the now-defunct Last Year: The Nightmare which launched in 2018 as a First on Discord title. Last Year is a multiplayer survival game, and its first chapter will officially launch December 10th. The game stars five survivors who are fighting for their lives while giant spiders have infiltrated their school. Five players will play as survivors, while one plays as the monster spider.


Overwatch 2 to Feature “Lots of New Heroes”

Overwatch 2 assistant director Aaron Keller revealed in an interview with Playstation Blog that Overwatch 2 will introduce a lot of heroes as it will lean more into creating a story experience for players. The team aims to achieve this through Hero Missions. Keller said they have “lots of heroes in the works currently for Overwatch 2,” however he can’t reveal any details as of now. He added though, that “they will help round out the world of Overwatch and give us new gameplay mechanics we have not yet seen.”


Knights Finally Coming to Crusader Kings 3

Paradox Interactive has revealed in a new video that Crusader Kings 3 will finally add Knights. This is a welcome addition considering the game is set in Medieval times. The team also plans to add other missing characters in Crusader Kings 2. Additionally, players will also be able to hire men-at-arms who have various specializations such as siege weapons. All these and more are expected to be included when Crusader Kings 3 arrives next year.


Darksiders Genesis Switch Version Will Be 100% the Same

Darksiders Genesis will be launching on Nintendo Switch next year, and Airship Syndicate said the game’s content on the Switch will be 100% the same as with its other platforms. Although Switch is an entirely different platform, Airship said they are working really hard right now to make sure that it’s as good as it can be,’ and that the team is targeting the “the highest possible” frame rate and resolution. Darksiders Genesis will launch for PC and Google Stadia on December 5th.


ESL Pro League Season 10 Finals Group Stage Happening This Week

The ESL Pro League 2019 finals is heading to Odense, Denmark this year, and Group Stages are set to kick off the event on December 3rd until the 5th. Group A is composed of Natus Vincere, TYLOO, FaZe Clan, MIBR, Heroic, 100 Thieves, Fnatic, and Evil Geniuses. Group B includes Astralis, Grayhound, G2 Esports, Sharks Esports, mousesports, ATK, North, and Team Liquid. The December 3rd Groups will feature best-of-one matches in the Upper and Lower Brackets, with following matches switching to best-of-three. The top three teams from each group will advance to the playoffs happening from December 6th with the finals taking place on December 8th.


Cyberpunk Game Vigilance Shows Off Gameplay in Latest Trailer

Cyberpunk game Vigilance has received a new trailer which showcases its gameplay. The game allows players to scan an area which then allows them to get details about their target, including what they are up against, and which direction the enemy went. The game will also feature parkour elements and bounty hunting as well as third-person and first-person camera viewpoints. Vigilance does not have an expected release date at this time.


Capcom Teases Resident Evil 3

The Resident Evil franchise is currently on sale on Steam, and the banner poster implies that Resident Evil 3 could possibly be in the works. The poster shows characters from the Resident Evil franchise, however, two other unknown characters were included which sparked rumors that they could be Resident Evil 3 characters. There’s a possibility that the rumored game could be revealed at the upcoming Jump Fiesta event this month.


Jotun: Valhalla Edition Free on Epic Games Store Starting December 5th

Epic Games is currently offering Rayman Legends as its free game of the week until December 5th! The game lets players control Rayman as he sets off into a new adventure with his friends to restore order in the universe. Come December 5th, the hand-drawn action-exploration game Jotun will be free until December 12th. The game is set in Norse Mythology, and focuses on epic boss fights.


Star Citizen Raises Over $250M

Cloud Imperium Games is undoubtedly in good spirits considering its FPS Star Citizen recently raised over 250 million dollars. November has proven to be the most prosperous month yet as the game raised over 9 million dollars of the total in that month alone. In addition, a new planet is being added to Star Citizen called microTech, after its owners, microTech corporation. Also, there will be a new 20v20 mode in its multiplayer FPS section called Theatres of War in 2020.


Super Mario Maker 2 Gets New Trailer Ahead of Zelda Update

Super Mario Maker 2 received a new trailer ahead of the new Zelda update later this week. As of December 5, 2019, Super Mario maker 2 players will be able to wield Master Sword in Super Mario Maker 2. Equipping the Master Sword transforms Mario into Link and unlocks new abilities synonymous with that of the original Link. This is even more exciting considering it is a free update that includes a host of new content for the game like new enemies, blocks and a new speedrun mode.


Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Community Survey Results Revealed

Ubisoft recently issued a survey to the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint community regarding desired changes to the game and the results are rather interesting. The developer published the results of the survey and according to the statistics, Over 50% of players want the addition of AI teammates; 35% of the players asked the removal of gear score and tiered loot and of course, almost everyone wanted an improvement in the technical quality of the game. Skyforge Rock and Metal Expansion Release Dates Announced

MY.GAMES has announced a drastically improved addition to the critically acclaimed action MMO Skyforge with its upcoming “Rock and Metal” expansion. According to the developers, the new expansion will consist of an all-new subterranean dungeon named Toxic Wasteland and a new unlockable range-based Elder God form. Rock and Metal will be released as a free expansion on the 17th of next month for PC, the 18th for PlayStation 4, and the 19th for Xbox One.


Overland Planning to Name Cars in Game

Strategic survival game called Overland will soon be naming the cars in the game. The game is about a big road trip across the West at a time of an alien infestation. You will be traveling with your vehicle as well as your pet dog on your journey. Overland already has random names for the other people as well as dogs that you meet along the way, with additional backstories. This time around, they would want to name the cars as well. The names can be submitted through a Google form on their site.


New Dragon Quest Heroes Entry Possible

The series director of Dragon Quest Heroes, Tomohiko Sho said that they are thinking about a third entry for the game. Sho did say that the decision is ultimately in the hands of Square Enix and not Koei or Omega Force. They had also been thinking that if a third entry would happen, it should “really impress the players who played both games”. So if there are no new ideas that they can come up with for a third entry, then they would have to double think the project.


A Death Stranding Sequel “Would Start From Zero”

Death Stranding’s Hideo Kojima said that he would want to work with Norman Reedus again. Kojima, however, said that if ever he would be doing a Death Stranding sequel, he “would start from zero”. He did not exactly explain what he meant by that though. What we know right now is that he is planning to create the scariest horror video game, we might see Norman Reedus there, but if not, either case, Kojima would still want to work with him again.


Red Dead Redemption 2 Update Comes With Stabilization Fixes

Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC is getting more stabilization fixes. The game launched in November and some PC players were having problems with it. Rockstar had been hard at work to create the fixes and a new update had been shared for it. The fixes that came with the update are that players will no longer enter the landing page at startup, memory won’t run out, specific hardware configurations at startup, random crashes, and starting at the benchmark tool on low-end systems.


Starship Troopers Terran Command Announced

Starship Troopers is getting a video game adaptation called Starship Troopers Terran Command. This will be a real-time strategy game that will have tower defense as well as a tactical unit deployment. The game will be published by Slitherine and developed by The Aristocrats. According to the developers, the game had been in development for over two years now and is expected to launch in 2020.


The Stanly Parable: Ultra Deluxe Delayed to 2020

The Stanly Parable: Ultra Deluxe will be delayed to 2020. The game was supposed to launch sometime this 2019 as the developers Galactic Cafe and Crows Crows Crows announced during the Game Awards last year. To announce the delay the developers shared a six-minute video for it. The Stanly Parable: Ultra Deluxe is expected to have new content and new multiple endings. The game will also be built on the Unity engine.


Castle in the Darkness 2 Announced

Developers Matt Kap and Simon Parzer, the people behind The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth has a new game baking in the oven and it is the sequel to Castle in the Darkness that came out in 2015. Kap explained that at first, he was working on Castle in the Darkness 2 by himself which he did in an 8-bit aesthetic, but with Simon joining in and doing all the technical stuff plus the addition of other talented specialists, he can now give his 100% in working on the best graphic, music and game design that he can.
