Monster Game Carrion Announces Steam Demo

Phobia Game Studio and Devolver Digital have released a demo of their action-exploration game Carrion on Steam. The demo is available for a limited time. Carrion is described as a “reverse horror game” because players will take the role of an amorphous creature of unknown origin that’s hunting down — and consuming– those who have imprisoned it. The game is set in a secret underground base where all the havoc happens. The developers warn that this game contains “frequent graphic violence and gore.” Carrion will launch in 2020 for PC and consoles.

Call of Juarez: Gunslinger Switch Release Confirmed

Following a listing posted by ESRB earlier this month, Techland has finally confirmed that Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is coming to the Nintendo Switch. It will be available starting December 10th. The Nintendo Switch version of the game will feature motion control and HD Rumble options, alongside all the features the game already have on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360. Call of Juarez: Gunslinger puts players in the shoes of bounty hunter Silas Greaves.

Sony Issues Refunds to WWE 2K20 PS4 Players

Sony is offering refunds to unhappy WWE 2K20 players. This comes after the game has launched with tons of glitches which prompted players to trend #FixWWE2K20 on Twitter. The game has now also received Mostly Negative reviews on Steam. Some players who have successfully received their refunds from Sony reported missing items from the game’s Collector’s Edition, broken features, and graphical bugs.

Overwatch 2 to Be Featured at BlizzCon, Rumors Say

ESPN has reported that Blizzard Entertainment will be unveiling Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon 2019. According to the report, Overwatch 2 will bear a new logo, and will feature new game modes, maps, and PvE. The PvE mode is what’s most notable of this rumor, as it is said to be featuring hero talents and in-game items. Also, one of the missions in PvE will be a 4-player story experience which is set in Rio de Janeiro. We can expect to know more when BlizzCon 2019 takes place this weekend.

SKT’s Faker is First Player to Reach 100 International Wins in LoL Worlds

SK Telecom’s mid laner Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok hit a career milestone at the League of Legends World Championship in Madrid, Spain this past weekend. With SK Telecom’s victory against Splyce, Faker became the first League of Legends pro player to get 100 career wins in international events. To be specific, SKT’s win last Sunday was Faker’s 101st, with five total titles. SK Telecom is moving over to the semis and will face G2 Esports next.

Details on Destiny 2’s New PvP Mode Revealed

Destiny 2’s new Momentum Control PvP mode launches October 29th and Bungie has shared details on what player can expect. The new PvP mode will add instant respawns as well as increased weapon damage. Supers are also supercharged, turning players into a “1,000-pound gorilla” as Bungie would describe it. Zone captures are also being sped up, and the radar tracker has been removed in Momentum Control. The full details on this new PvP are up on Bungie’s blog.

Ubisoft Sues Rainbow Six: Siege Hackers for Selling Cheats

Ubisoft has sued MizuSoft, a company selling cheats for a profit. The lawsuit was filed specifically for Rainbow Six Siege cheats. MizuSoft’s website has been shut down as of this report, but the company has described itself as “a company that focuses on creating easy to use and undetected cheating software.” It originally sold the “Budget Edition Rainbow Six: Siege Cheat” which works as a subscription service. Once subscribed, players can change several of the game’s parameters such as “increasing the damage inflicted by the player.”

Quantum Ranger Now in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid

There’s a new playable character in Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, and it’s none other than Eric Myers, also known as Quantum Ranger. The character is now available for players on PC, Switch and Xbox One. PS4 players would have to wait for a while. Quantum Ranger can teleport around the screen and uses his blaster that fires a mysterious energy. As for his super, he transforms the blaster into a lightsaber that gives new combos and more damage.

SOMA and Costume Quest are Next Freebies on Epic Games

Epic Games has revealed their next free games just in time for Halloween. The games are SOMA and Costume Quest, and these will become available starting October 31st until November 7th. SOMA is a sci-fi horror game from the makers of Amnesia and will challenge players into surviving in the Atlantic Ocean aboard the PATHOS-II as they face all sorts of dangers and creeps. For a more family-friendly gaming, players can also get Costume Quest, an RPG and puzzle game.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels Official Release Date Confirmed

Developer Kaju and publisher Devolver Digital have announced the release date for the video game adaptation of the Netflix hit series Narcos, Narcos: Rise of the Cartels. The game will be available on November 19th on PC. The game will let players choose to side with either the DEA or the Cartel. It offers a tactical turn-based experience similar to XCOM games. The game also features familiar names and locations.

Epic Games Suing Beta Tester for Leaking Fortnite Chapter 2

Epic Games has sued a Fortnite beta tester who reportedly leaked details on Fortnite Chapter 2. The beta tester is Ronald Sykes, and according to reports, he violated a non-disclosure regarding Fortnite Chapter 2 by tweeting information using two different accounts. Aside from leaking Chapter 2 information, he also posted a picture of its map. Epic is seeking maximum damages.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Outsells Black Ops 4 During First Week of Launch

The official count is not yet available but so far Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is outselling Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. This has been seen in the UK charts which lists Modern Warfare as the top-selling game during its first week of launch. The numbers listed are for physical sales for PlayStation 4 which is at 62 percent and Xbox One which is at 38 percent. The digital sales are not available yet though.

Possible Class War to Happen in Fallout 76

The Fallout 1st has launched last week for Fallout 76 and it is a premium membership subscription for the game. Because of this, there seems to be a class war brewing. One claim in Reddit reads, “Fallout 1st players are being targeted in adventure mode”. Players have a split opinion about the premium membership. Some may think that it is fair, but some think that it is harassment for regular players.

Dreams a PS4- Exclusive Game Could Have a PC Launch

The PlayStation 4 exclusive game creation suite called Dreams by Media Molecule could possibly have a PC launch. Media Molecule also wants the games made in Dreams to be exported to PC as well. Co-founder of the game, Kareem Ettouney said that they wanted the game to reach a large audience first before expanding to different platforms. Also, they wanted the game to last for 20 years and keep on expanding it.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Easter Egg Revealed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare which has just launched a few days ago has a very interesting Easter Egg. There is a mission in the game where you will enter a house in Camden Town. One of the rooms will have a mother running to a crib to get her baby. If you shoot the mother she will die, and one of your fellow soldiers will pick up the baby and put it back into the crib. If you still choose to kill the baby, it will be an instant game over and trying to do it over again will prompt a special message.

Death Stranding Officially Announced to Launch on PC

The official Twitter channel of Kojima Productions has announced that their upcoming game Death Stranding is coming to PC next year. The game is set to launch for the PlayStation 4 on November 8th, giving the impression that it will be a PlayStation 4 exclusive game. The tweet had come from Daniel Ahmad saying that the game “will be coming to PC in early summer of 2020”.

Killsquad Halloween Event Announced

Co-op ARPG Killsquad is getting a Halloween special called Hallowtide. This will come with exciting content additions like Halloween themed UI decorations, new quests, collectibles, audio as well as some frights and fun in the game’s universe. Players will be able to roam the planets and do pumpkin hunts doing side quests, earn themed portraits and badges. Come Halloween day, the game’s major update will be made available called Plague.

EVE Online: Invasion Second Chapter Announced

The second chapter of EVE Online: Invasion has been announced by CCP Games. The second chapter will bring players to the next step of the Triglavian story which drags New Eden into deep conflict. This includes new features like Shareable Bookmarks and many more. The EVE Online: Invasion Chapter 2 will be launching on Tuesday, November 26th and is free to download for all players of EVE Online.

The Drifter from the Developers of Crawl Revealed

From the developers of the competitive hack-and-slash game, Crawl comes a new pulpy pixel art point-and-click game called The Drifter. The game lets you play as Mick Carter who witnesses a gruesome murder as he returns to his home town after a long time. He also gets killed in the process by the unknown assailants. However, a few seconds later, he regains consciousness for some reason and gets blamed for everything. No specific release date was given for the game.

EarthNight Launches on December 3rd

Dive back into Earth with EarthNight! The dragons were able to take over the Earth and the only place that humanity can run to is space. Two courageous characters Stanly and Sydney will go back to Earth and run through the backs of huge dragons. You will have to do this while the background is playing an original chiptune soundtrack. EarthNight is set to launch by December 3rd.

Farmers Dynasty New Launch Date and Pre-Order Announced

A new release date has been announced for Farmer’s Dynasty and it is for November 21st. The announcement came from Bigben and Toplitz Productions also saying that the game is now available for preorder for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game offers a farmer’s life where players get to build a farm, start a family and cultivate fields. It is a mix of farm simulator, life simulator and management. Build and repair your farm and also get to help your neighbors in different missions.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint Moving Forward Plans Revealed

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint released a roadmap for what we can expect for the game. Breakpoint launched with so many problems and with a moving forward post, we get to see what they intend to do about it. Several updates are planned to come with improvements and fixes throughout the month of November. Another thing that was criticized was the in-game economy which the devs are planning to fix.
