Profane Launches on Steam

Alternative Software’s twin-stick shooter Profane has officially launched and is now available for PC via Steam. Profane challenges players into defeating enemies before time runs out. The player’s health and skill are all affected by the clock so making decisions fast is crucial. The game features customizable loadouts, competition-focused gameplay to challenge friends, and multiple game modes.

Tropico 6 Seasonal Halloween Content Update Rolls Out

Kalypso Media has rolled out a new update for Tropico 6 which introduces a new limited-time Halloween content. The new content will be available until November 7th only. The update dresses up the main menu with a Halloween theme, plus the game also gets autumn foliage. Flowers in parks and on buildings have also been replaced with pumpkins. Also, during the event, Halloween palace customization is available in the “garden” category.

Monster Hunter World Iceborne PC Release Date Announced

Monster Hunter World’s frosty expansion, Iceborne, has finally received a release date on PC. It will be available starting January 9, 2020. The expansion first launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One last month, and it introduced the new Hoarfrost Reach biome as well as new monsters. It also introduces a new story as well as the new Seliana base, plus the more challenging Master Rank alongside some improvements and enhancements.

Payday 2 is Back in Development, DLC Coming

Starbreeze has announced that it is restarting development for Payday 2 amid financial issues. The studio has previously shut down development on the game to focus on other projects. Starbreeze said work is currently under way on a new DLC called Border Crossing Heist. The game is also set to receive both free and paid updates going forward, contrary to Starbreeze’s previous statement that all future Payday 2 updates will be free.

The Outer Worlds Switch Release Coming 2020

The Outer Worlds publisher Private Division has announced through a press release that the game will be available on the Nintendo Switch in 2020. Virtuos, the same company that ported Dark Souls Remastered on Switch, will also be the one working on The Outer World’s Switch port. An official release date is yet to be announced. The Outer Worlds has recently launched for PC, PS4, and Xbox One and has been receiving quite a warm reception from gamers and critics so far.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Defender DLC Proceeds Will Go to Charity

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is out now, and if you’re willing to spend a little money to help support war veterans, then the game’s Defender Pack will certainly be of great help. According to Activision, 100% of Defender’s Pack proceeds will go directly to the non-profit organization Call of Duty Endowment. The DLC includes 11 digital items which includes the special Defender .357 revolver variant with three attachments. It also includes an in-game watch with the Endowment logo, a weapon camo, weapon charm, and a lot more.

WWE 2K20 Getting Its First Patch

WWE 2K20 has been experiencing a lot of bugs since launch, and finally 2K Games has spoken and announced that a patch will be coming soon. 2K did not specifically say what issues will be addressed in the upcoming patch, but they said they are “working hard to investigate these concerns and address them as necessary.” The initial patch is expected to roll out “in the next two weeks with others to follow.”

Final Fantasy 14 Nerfs King Moggle Mog

Final Fantasy 14’s preliminary patch notes for its 5.1 update have been released. The update includes a nerf for Good King Moggle Mog XII in the Thornmarch fight. With this update, Moggle Mog will deal less damage with Momento Moogle. Also included in the patch are additional item levels in the dungeons that are needed to complete the game’s Main Scenario Quests. Most crafting skills will also be removed in order to simplify crafting classes. The patch is set to roll out on October 29th.

Hilda Crosses Over to BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle

Under Night In-Birth character, Hilda, is crossing over to BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle through its upcoming character pack that will launch on November 21st. The fashionista Hilda first appeared as the boss character of Under Night In-Birth, before eventually joining its roster as a DLC character. Also launching on November 21st is Version 2.0 which will bring an overhauled UI, extra scenarios, bug fixes, and balances.

Two Point Hospital Suits Up for Halloween

Two Point Hospital is also celebrating Halloween with the return of its Spooky Mode event. The event brings themed visuals such as moody lights, swarms of bats, and a new ailment for players to cure: lightheadedness. The game will also be playing Halloween-themed soundtrack, as well as get revamped decorations for hospital halls. 20,000 CS:GO Players Banned Because of Minerva

More than 20,000 CS:GO players had been banned because of the new chat AI made by Faceit. The new AI is called Minerva, and its job is to recognize toxic messages like verbal abuse, spam messages and more. Those detected will first receive a warning, then a ban and with repeat offenders getting harsher punishments overtime. Because of Minerva, the toxic messages were able to drop by 20% from August to September.

Borderlands 3 Gets a Photo Mode

Players of Borderlands 3 are now able to use the game’s photo mode on all of the game’s platforms. The most popular feature that has been added to triple A games is probably this mode. Players will be able to take amazing pictures on Pandora, Eden-6 and so much more and share them. Borderlands 3 launched about a month ago and is available on PC via the Epic Games Store and on consoles’ PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

AI: The Somnium Files Demo Announced for the PS4 and Switch

AI: The Somnium Files is getting a demo and it will be available for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch but not for the PC. Another thing is that the saved data on the demo will not carry over to the full game. AI: The Somnium Files had been delayed because of quality issues and has launched on September 17th in North America and September 20th in Europe. The game’s physical version launched on September 24th.

Monster Hunter World Iceborn Patch is Set to Launch on February 2020

The expansion to Monster Hunter World called Iceborn will be launching on January 9, 2020 for PC, as announced by Capcom. The developers also announced that PC players of the game will get to receive new content sooner than previously planned. Capcom has announced that updates of the game will be “fast-tracked”, the patch that will be coming in February of 2020 will be giving PC players of the game Rajang plus a Resident Evil cross over as well.

Panzer Dragoon: Remake Launch Date Announced

The Panzer Dragoon: Remake will be launching in Winter 2019 for PC as announced by Forever Entertainment. The game first launched for the Sega Saturn console in 1995. The remade version will have new and improved graphics as well as some modifications that are akin to the modern players. In Conglomerate 451, players are tasked to take down corrupt corporations in the Conglomerate city’s sector 451.
