Capcom Announces Capcom Connect

A weekly Street Fighter and FGC live stream will be made available all thanks to Capcom Connect. Capcom has announced the weekly live stream which will be focusing on Street Fighter V as well as its pro circuit and community. Capcom Connect will launch via the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel which is direct from the Esports Arena Oakland. It will feature the Capcom Pro Tour, player interviews, giveaways, grudge matches, and community contributions. This is live every Tuesday at 20:00 PT.


Mark of the Ninja: Remastered Release Date Announced

Mark of the Ninja: Remastered fans who prefers to play the game on Nintendo Switch, this news is for you! Klei Entertainment has announced that they will be releasing the game on the Switch this coming October 9th. The remastered version will have new features added to the original 2012 release which will include upgraded visuals and audio plus new cutscenes and game effects. Players can also expect a new story level, a new character, some additional items as well as a developer commentary.


Black Ops 4’s Download Size Revealed

A download size has been made available for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in the Xbox Store page. Since Xbox One games usually have a pre-load ahead of its launch, it is normal to have the size of the game posted in the page. So we will be basing the size of the game on this. As posted, the game would require 42.64 GB of free space. This would probably be bigger upon launch and most possibly be the same for PS4 since they usually are about the same size. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will launch on October 12th.


The Walking Dead: The Final Season Pulled From Retailers

With Telltale having major layoffs, they are also asking retailers to stop customers from purchasing The Walking Dead: The Final Season as the future is uncertain for the game. Because of this, we can no longer see the option to purchase The Final Season on Steam, the PlayStation Store as well as the Xbox One Marketplace. According to the GOG page a post saying a “pause” in the sale of the game had been requested by the developer. The game is still available in the stores but would only link to the demo.


New Total War Warhammer 2 DLC to be Revealed Next Week

A new Total War: Warhammer 2 DLC is coming but we have no idea what it is. The only hint that was given is an image posted in Twitter with what looks like an old weathered paper that had been folded in the middle with some dark smudges on the side and a clear “X”. It could be many things but it mostly looks like an up-close picture of a map with an X-marks-the-spot. The post has the caption of ” A fantastical announcement is drawing near…” We will know more soon, as the release date seems to be on October 4th.


Monster Hunter World Outsells PUBG

Monster Hunter World has proven that it is Capcom’s best-selling game on consoles, and now its PC version is following suit. Monster Hunter World on PC has reportedly surpassed PUBG in terms of how many copies were sold. In August, the game sold over two million copies which brings the grand total of 10 million copies sold across all its platforms. In terms of player count, Monster Hunter World still surpasses PUBG, and is now Capcom’s biggest PC title.


Warframe’s Chroma Prime Skin Live Now

The latest prime skin of Warframe was released and it is called the Chroma Prime. This is the reconstruction of the “ancient legend” of the same name which is a powerful Warframe that can change the damage output by changing its energy color. The energies included are ice, fire, electricity, and poison. This actually gives this Warframe a variation of attacks depending on the scenario given. Chroma Prime is the 22nd Prime Warframe and you are able to get this by joining the Prime Access programme.


Fortnite Season 6 Features Wild West Skin

Epic Games released another teaser for Fortnite’s upcoming new season! This time the company released an image of a woman wearing a cowboy hat, and her face covered with a mask. She also wears a spiked jacket. If speculations were true, this could be the much-requested cowboy skin. Epic also previously teased a DJ Llama who’s also wearing a mask. Fortnite Season 6 will begin Thursday, September 27th.


Drawn to Death to Shut Down Servers

Drawn to Death, that chaotic and crazy third-person shooter that was launched last year for the PlayStation 4 will be shutting down its servers on March 2019. The studio had hit some hard times and was forced to do some layoffs earlier in the year and with that, the game’s end is set for early 2019. Since the game is online-focused the support for it will end as well when it shuts down its servers. For right now the game is still available to play on the PlayStation Store until March 25th, 2019.


Steins: Gate Elite Release Date Announced

Steins;Gate Elite will be released in North America on February 19, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and the Nintendo Switch. Its PC version release date is yet to be confirmed. It will also be releasing an exclusive Steins;Gate Elite Limited Edition for both PS4 and Nintendo Switch which includes a 100+ page Hardcover Storyboard Collection, Exclusive Cloth Poster, Custom Outer Box, STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram for PlayStation 4 or 8-BIT ADV STEINS;GATE for Nintendo Switch.


The Maestros Open Beta Happening This Weekend

Team vs team action-strategy arena The Maestros will be having its open beta, and will take place on September 28th. It will launch on Steam Early Access Wednesday, October 3rd. The beta will let players experience and try out matches, and also let them leave feedback for the developers Systence Games.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Size Revealed

New information has come to light for the highly anticipated game from Rockstar – Red Dead Redemption 2! First of all, it’s file size is absolutely huge at 105 GB making it the biggest game for consoles ever. Do note that this is only the minimum amount of space needed so more space could be asked for. Another information shared is that PlayStation 4 will have a 30-day exclusivity for DLCs and that the game will be able to support up to 32 players but no other information was shared about this.


No Crossplay Available For Fallout 76

Since Sony’s announcement that they will be having crossplay available for Fortnite, a lot of developers, as well as, gamers were excited thinking that this will now be the new norm for Sony. However, that is not the case since Fallout 76 won’t have that ability. It is not impossible though as clarified by Bethesda vice president Pete Hines but it is not their focus as of the moment with the game’s launch very near. The Sony crossplay is quite unclear as of the moment and Fortnite could be an exemption.


Hovercraft and Shift Gears Available In The Crew 2 Free Weekend

The Crew 2 just got a free expansion dubbed Gator Rush. The expansion adds three types of hovercrafts and specialized events for them. As you’d expect, these events take the new vehicles through both land and water. The update also adds a new Ace difficulty mode where players can earn legendary loot and upgrades. The game is also on sale right now at 45% off and will be free to play for the entire weekend. Pre-loading is already open so make sure to get it now.


Dirt Rally 2.0 Announced To Be Coming Next Year

Codemasters has announced that a sequel for their 2015 hit off-road racer, Dirt Rally, dubbed Dirt Rally 2.0 will be coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 on February 26th next year. The game will feature eight official World Rallycross tracks, as well as racing locations from all over the world. The developers are also promising “a new authentic handling model, tyre choice and surface deformation.” The usual game modes will be returning alongside a new single-player career mode.


Huge Voice Actors Coming To Kingdom Hearts III

Kingdom Hearts 3 fans will surely love this as some of Disney’s well-known voice actors are coming to share their voices with our most loved Disney characters that will appear in the game. One of which is the cast of Frozen who are Idina Menzel as Elsa, Kristen Bell as Anna, Josh Gad as Olaf and Jonathan Groff as Kristoff. You Can Get to Choose Your Character’s Gender After Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft is intending to stick to their decision by giving players the ability to choose the gender of their protagonist even after Odyssey. Ubisoft mentioned that it will be a mistake at their end if they try to limit the choices of their players when choosing the gender of their protagonist. They believe that this decision will bring in more players as well as give their fanbase an experience that they can call their own. Assassins Creed Odyssey will launch on October 5th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


PlayStation 4 Now Available For Cross-Play in Fortnite

Sony surprised the gaming world recently with their announcement that they will finally be allowing cross-play for Fortnite. Epic Games has also announced that they’ll be rolling out an account-merging feature in November that will merge Battle Royale purchases across multiple accounts. This will benefit those who created a separate account just to play on the PS4. Even more, they’ll be allowing players to unlink a console from a Fornite account and relinking another Fortnite account very soon.


New Rainbow Six Update Available On Public Test Serves

The test server for Rainbow Six Siege is available once again and those who are interested can log into it and give their feedback on the new changes as well as bug fixes. The most notable of all is the ability to enable and disable the mouse scrolling input for weapon swapping. There are also updates for Glaz’s OTs-03, a toggle to both the abilities of Montagne and Pulse. An update for the deployable shields are also available. Blizzard is giving one more reason for long-time fans of its massively multiplayer online role-playing game, World of Warcraft, to purchase a virtual ticket for the publishers upcoming BlizzCon 2018 event. Those who shell out the cash for one will get access to a demo of the upcoming World of Warcraft Classic, including one early Alliance zone and one early Horde zone. Access to the demo will be opened on November 2nd, just after BlizzCon’s opening ceremony, and will end on November 8th.


Free Update Coming To Dragon Ball FighterZ

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer detailing a huge free update that’s been released for Dragon Ball FighterZ. The update will be bringing with it new one versus one and two versus two match options, a new stage, and Halloween-themed customization options, including new costume colors and lobby avatars. The update is up now on PC, Xbox One and PS4. The Switch will get the update as soon as it launches, although the new stage will be delayed by a bit on the platform.


New Mod Brings Battle Royale To Doom 2

A modding team called Retrodex Gaming is bringing Battle Royale to the classic Doom 2. The modders decided to name their project Doom Royale (With Cheese) which is right now still in development and will have 64 players go at it with the last man standing as the winner. The mod will load as a WAD file with Doom 2. It will have the original map that will have interior spaces and hallways which makes it harder for snipers. Campers are discouraged as players killed by them can respawn and exact revenge.
