Spacelords Reveals New Character, Valeria

Spacelords, the game previously known as Raiders of the Broken Planet revealed a new character via a trailer and it is the cold and calculating Valeria Robespierre. She is a powerful character that can be recruited by anyone. Valeria is the daughter of an extremely rich patron who is funding the expedition to the Broken Planet. Because of that extensive family fortune, she was able to custom build as well as design a strong combat chassis that is inspired by her doll collection to protect her.


Blood Nor Water Has Launched Kickstarter Campaign

A new tactics game about young soldiers finding their identities in a war bigger than them is in the works and it is called Blood Nor Water. It is a narratively driven strategy game. The game’s devs Rosae Ex Ludis has a Kickstarter campaign launched and is hoping to gather up $12,500 to be able to finish it. The devs are planning the first release to be for PC and Mac. A Nintendo Switch version is also planned after the PC release, they would just need more time in order to refine the controls for it.


Ubisoft’s PAX West 2018 Lineup Revealed

Ubisoft has revealed their lineup for the upcoming PAX West 2018. Those who are headed to the expo will have the chance to sample Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, The Division 2, Far Cry 5: Dead Living Zombies, Starlink: Battle for Atlas and other Ubisoft titles at their booth. Those who play the demos at the event will get some in-game goodies from the Ubisoft Club. Fans can also tune in to Ubisoft’s Twitch, YouTube Gaming, and Mixer streams in case they can’t make it to the event in person.


NBA Live 19 Free Demo Now Available

EA Sports has released a free playable demo of their upcoming basketball sim, NBA Live 19. The demo is available right now on Xbox One and PS4. The demo will allow fans to start the game’s career mode entitled “The One”. The One features the expected high-intensity, basketball action, and, for the first time ever, the ability to create a female player. The mode will also see players traveling around the globe and competing in famous courts in different countries. NBA Live 19 fully launches on September 7th.


New Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Trailer Showcases Vistas of Greece in 4K

Episode 4 of Ubisoft’s Behind the Odyssey video series has been released. Aptly entitled “Ancient Greece”, the new video focuses on the gorgeous vistas and different locations players will encounter during their adventures in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The development team also revealed the incredible amount of research it took to recreate the setting and the historical figures that appear in the game. Players will get to see all of these come together come October 5th.


Daybreak Reveals H1Z1 Battle Royale’s Upcoming Content

The upcoming content for H1Z1: Battle Royale has been shared by Daybreak Games in a new Developer Update video. In the video, producer Terrence Yee and lead designer Mike Madden are thanking fans for the game for sticking with them as well as for the feedback that they were able to give. After that, the upcoming content was shared. First is the arcade mode which would only have shotguns and snipers as weapons. There will also be additional weapons in the game, plus daily challenges and leaderboards.


Cyberpunk 2077 is Reportedly Now Payable From Start to End

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077’s current build is now playable from start til end. Although this may be the case, Cd Projekt Red producer Richard Borzymowski clarified that there are still a lot of stuff his team needs to look into and fix. This also does not mean that the game will be coming out sooner than we all think – game development takes time, and with the expectations for this game, we’re still not halfway to release day yet. Cyberpunk will be available for PC and consoles.


Square Enix Pax West 2018 Lineup Announced

Square Enix has revealed their lineup for PAX West 2018 and it looks like a few highly-anticipated RPGs will be taking the spotlight. The publisher is set to show off Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of an Elusive Age, Kingdom Hearts 3, and the 4K update to Final Fantasy 15: Windows Edition. For non-RPG fans, Square Enix will also be featuring Shadow of the Tomb Raider, The Quiet Man, and Life is Strange 2. There’s also quite a few mobile titles in their schedule. PAX West 2018 will run from August 31st to September 3rd.


Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition’s Mod Pack Promises to Bring the Game’s Definitive Version

Silent Hill 2 is about 16 years old now, and it still is one of the best horror games there is. So if you miss being spooked by the game, a new Silent Hill 2 Enhanced Edition is here and it is a collection of mods and enhancements that will improve the game’s graphics and sounds as well as fix its 16-year-old bugs. Also, it will now support higher resolutions as well as widescreen. Since the game is not in Steam nor in GOG, you must go out and find a physical copy of the game with some steps to follow in order to play.


Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Introduces Elma in Latest DLC

Xenoblade Chronicles fans are sure in for a treat as its DLC will not only include Fiora and Shulk from the Wii U classic, but also Elma from Xenoblade Chronicles X. Players can recruit Elma to their party by completing the new challenge called “Otherworldly Fighter.” Elma won’t be available in the Campaign Mode though. Aside from Elma, a brand new blade, Corvin, will be available. Software Update 1.5.2 is now available for those who own the Expansion Pass.


SEGA’s PAX West 2018 Lineup Revealed

It looks like Sega is set to take the stage at this year’s PAX West with a lineup not too far from what they showed at Gamescom 2018. Sega will be bringing playable demos of Sonic Team Racing ad Total War: Three Kingdoms. They’ll also be showing off Valkyria Chronicles 4, Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise, Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, and Shin Megami Tensei Liberation Dx2. Sega will also be conducting a panel on the localization of Japanese games.

Fallout 76’s Power Armor Edition Sold Out

The Fallout 76 Power Armor edition seems to be very popular as it has already sold out in the market. To those who don’t know, this edition includes a wearable T-51 helmet with a headlamp plus voice modulation device. It also includes a glow-in-the-dark physical map and access to the upcoming open beta. Bethesda’s marketing boss, Pete Hines has announced that they won’t be making more of this edition as it is “not quick or easy to make”. Fallout 76 launches in November for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Listed: Games Coming Out This Week!

This is one very busy week for new games! Coming August 28th is the release of Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate for the Nintendo Switch and Yakuza Kiwami 2 for the PS4. Other games coming out on this date are Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 or better known as PES 2019 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, and an indie game called Donut County for PS4, and PC. OG Wins DOTA 2 The International!

DOTA 2 The International has recently concluded and the winner this year is European team OG! Their win was able to get them the 8.7 million Pounds grand prize, beating out PSG.LGD, a China-based team. The second place finishers were able to bring home 3.1 million Pounds. OG is a fairly new group and is considered the underdogs in the event with their key player Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen never playing in a LAN event before this tournament. A commentator even mentioned that the team looked stunned with their win.


Nihon Falcolm Confirms News Ys Game

This news is for all the YS fans out there. Following the success of YS 8: Lacrimosa of Dana, fans are expecting a remake of YS V as duly appropriate. However, president Toshihiro Kondo of developer Nihon Falcom has other plans. In an interview, he said that they are working on a new YS game that will be about Adol Christin, following the events right after that of YS 8. For now, that is all that we know, we will keep you posted as soon as other development comes forth for the new YS game.


H1Z1’s Just Survive Mode Closes This October

Daybreak Game Company announced that the original H1Z1 survival sandbox mode called Just Survive is shutting down soon. It has already been delisted from Steam so that no one can purchase it anymore. But for those who already have it, it is still available until October 24th, 7 PM BST. According to Steam Charts, Just Survive was only able to peak at a thousand concurrent players last month. H1Z1 will, however, continue on in its battle royale form, which was previously known as H1Z1: King of the Kill.


Soulcalibur 6 Reveals Azwel

Remember last week’s Soul of Libra trailer for Soulcalibur 6 which debuted a creepy looking face? Well, with Bandai Namco’s newest reveal, we are now able to put a name to that nightmare-inducing face! He is an all-new character named Azwel and will debut on the Stage of History. He is a self-professed “Leader of Humanity” and looks dangerous and somewhat loony. Azwel is also armed with a pair of mystical blades that are called Palindrome. Soulcalibur 6 launches on October 19th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Lego DC Super-Villains Character Creator Detailed

The upcoming Lego DC Super-Villains released a new trailer which gives us more information about its character creator feature. This feature kind of mimics how we can customize Lego characters in real life: swapping heads, torsos, headwear, and accessories. The character creator allows that as well. Additionally, players can also apply decals and even select weapons and personality for their custom villain. You can check out the character creator when Lego DC Super-Villains launches October 16th on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Switch.


Dota 2 Introduces Two New Heroes

Dota 2 recently launched a new hero and it is the powerful Grimstroke. This new character is listed as a disabler, escape, ranged, support as well as being able to manipulate a battle from its outer parts. He uses a brush and ink and can summon a phantom that has claws which can tear enemies apart. Another hero will also be joining the game by winter called Mars. No information is available for him as of yet, just that he wields a spear and shield and can summon soldiers to fight with him.


The Last Remnant to be Delisted From PC

The very first Square Enix game that was built with the Unreal Engine, The Last Remnant will be delisted on Steam come September 4th UK time after about a decade from its release. For those who already have the game, you will be able to keep it and play it as normal. In a note posted by Square Enix on Steam, they fail to explain why the game is being delisted, however, they did thank the players who supported the game. The Last Remnant first launched in 2008 for the Xbox 360 and later launched for PC.


Soulcalibur 6 Could Be the Last Soulcalibur Game

It appears like Soulcalibur 6 could be the last Soulcalibur game. In an interview, Producer Motohiro Okubo said that the Soulcalibur brand is currently facing a crisis, and that Bandai Namco has very little faith in the franchise. This is also cited as another reason why six years have passed since the previous Soulcalibur game was released. He went on to confirm that it may be the last Soulcalibur game, basing on how things look in the present.
