Vampyr’s New Story Mode Out This Week

A new story mode, as well as, a difficulty option is coming to Vampyr this September 26th. The story mode will mainly concentrate on the narrative of the game and “de-emphasizing” its combat. Players will get to enjoy the journey of the newly transformed vampire Dr. Jonathan Reid with less of the challenging gameplay. The new mode, on the other hand, is the opposite and will let players go through the game with much more difficult combat. Less experience is also given when you kill enemies.

World War 3 Gets Early Access Release Date

Farm 51’s World War 3, which has been announced last May, is now getting a release date for Early Access on Steam which is on October 19th. The devs said that they plan to keep the game in Early Access for about 12 to 15 months. The price of the game on Early Access is $28 but will increase when it officially launches as a complete game. We are not sure though what players can expect in early access as the write-up only mentions that it will include a “starting set of maps and features”.

Rainbow Six Siege’s Year 1 Operators Now Available at 30% Off

Ubisoft has announced a price drop for Rainbow Six Siege Year 1 operators for a limited time! These operators are now available at 30% off and will be available at this discounted price until March 4, 2019. For players who will buy using Renown, the Year One operators, which are available at 25,000 Renown, will now cost 15,000. In real money, the cost decreases from 600 R6 Credits to 360 R6 Credits. Year One operators are: Frost, Buck, Valkyrie, Blackbeard, Capitao, Caveira, Hibana, and Echo.

League of Legends’ Ezreal Gets Reworked

Ezreal is the next League of Legends Champion to be getting a rework, following Nunu and Willump which both got reworked earlier this summer. Riot Games released a new gameplay video showing off the marksman’s new abilities with his W being the biggest new change. His overall looked was also revamped which now gives him a more stylistic look. The trailer also showed the many skins available for Ezreal. We can expect a new Champion Spotlight video for Ezreal soon.

Black Desert Online Drieghen Expansion Release Date Revealed

The new content of Black Desert Online called Dreighan has been announced by Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss to be coming out on November 14th. It will have a huge land mass with around 300 quests as well as a new storyline that includes the cursed tribe of Sherekhan and a dragon world boss called Garmoth plus so much more content. This expansion is free for those who were able to purchase the game already. Black Desert Online is now available for PC but will come to Xbox One as a beta this fall.

Rocket League’s Hot Wheels Update Out Now

Rocket League’s Hot Wheels update has gone live. This update brings the Hot Wheels crossover to the game. The Hot Wheels Rivals Arena is now available in the Casual Playlists and Tournaments as well as in private and offline play. Aside from the Hot Wheels crossover, the update officially marks the end of Season 8, and officially kicks off Season 9. The full patch notes is available on Rocket League’s website.

Netflix Will Still Produce Stranger Things Game Despite Telltale Shut Down

We all heard that Telltale Games suddenly closed and there were a lot of projects that were left hanging. One of which is the game that is based on the hit Netflix show Stranger Things. Netflix did say that the project will still push through under their supervision and that they will be looking for “other options” for its creation. The other game that is under the supervision of Netflix is Minecraft: Story Mode and that will still be continued but a release date for the game is not yet available.

World of Warships Announces Upcoming Halloween Content

World of Warships, in keeping with tradition, will have a new Holloween event that will be adding submarines to the game. During this event, some sinister submarines will be added and will be evaluated. If all goes well the developers will look for ways to completely integrate the subs in the game permanently. With the new event will come some new content as well and it will be rebalancing some aircraft carriers as well as reworking how they play in the game. Other changes will be added also.

Ark: Survival Evolved Adds 100-Player Conquest PvP Servers

Ark: Survival Evolved will be getting a new cluster of Official PvP servers, Studio Wildcard announced. The Conquest servers will allow up to 100 players per server. Tribes will be maxed out with 25 Survivors. These new servers will provide a perfect ground for big tribes. These will be available starting September 28th for players on PC, while players on the Xbox One and Playstation 4 would have to wait.

Crashbots Heads to PC Next Month

Crashbots the game that was originally available for Android and iOS is now coming to PC. It will have a redesign of the old worlds like the Factory, Forest, and The Haunted House and two new worlds will be added which is The Wild West and The Neon City. Two game modes will be available as well which are the World Mode and the Endless Mode. There will be 5 different robots to choose from which you can upgrade. Each one will have different abilities and attacks. Crashbot is arriving on PC by October 9th.

New Gundam Breaker PC System Requirements Revealed

New Gundam Breaker is out now on Steam, and it looks like the game won’t be requiring too much in terms of PC specs. At minimum, the game will require an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 with 4GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460. Its recommended specs include an Intel Core i5-7500 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060. You also need 12 GB of free hard disk space. New Gundam Breaker is also equipped with Denuvo anti-tamper tech.


Future Localizations will Depend on How Well Dragon Quest 11 Sells in the West

Dragon Quest 11 was able to release in Northern America and Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PC, however, producer Hokuto Okamoto said that in order for the Western players to enjoy more of the game in their areas it would have to reach a certain amount of sales. Noting the history of Dragon Quest, most of it had Japan releases only. But with the game’s great reviews in the West, it would possibly earn enough for it to have future iterations of the game. Right now, no sales figures had been shared for it.

Forza Horizon 4’s Post-Launch Roadmap Revealed

Playground Games has laid out their post-launch plans for Forza Horizon 4 in the recent Inside Xbox livestream. Every week, the game’s in-game season will change, starting with Summer at launch. A full year of in-game seasons will run for four weeks, and a new year will start with a batch of new content starting October 26th after the full year of in-game seasons run. Season One is set to begin September 28th for Early Access, and October 2nd worldwide.

Meet Rico’s Newest Rival in Just Cause 4’s Latest Trailer

Rico’s newest rival has been introduced via a new trailer by developer Avalanche Studios and publisher Square Enix. The character is Gabriela Morales and she is the leader of the infamous Black Hand. Just Cause 4 sees rogue agent Rico Rodriguez coming to the huge South American world called Solis. Conflict and oppression have arisen in this area and to make things complicated, there are extreme weather conditions also available. Just Cause 4 launches on December 4th for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Valve Shares Controller Stats on Steam

Valve was able to share just how many PC gamers use gamepads. According to the data, the total number of connected controllers to Steam reaches about 60 million. The tracking started about three years prior and it has seen that the Xbox 360 pad is the most popular on the list with around 27.7 million registered users using it. Next in line is the Sony DualShock 4 with 12.2 million users. The third is the Xbox One pad with around 11. 5 million users and in fourth place is the DualShock 3 with about 4.1 million.

Total War Rome 2 Gets Review Bombed on Steam

Total War Rome 2 is currently being review bombed in Steam because of female generals appearing too frequently in the game. Creative Assembly has since released a statement, saying that the controversy is “overblown” and “at best a gross exaggeration of the truth.” CA said that the chances of female generals appearing in the game were based on the cultural differences of each factions during the time the game is set. In certain cultures, like the Greeks and Roman, they don’t have female generals so there won’t be any appearing in the game for these factions.

V-Rally 4’s System Requirements Revealed

The official PC system requirements of V-Rally 4 has been released by Bigben Interactive and it is surprisingly low. According to the list, for the minimum specs, players would need and Intel Core i3-540 or an AMD Phenom II X4 940, a Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 or AMD Radeon HD 6870 graphics card and atleast 4 GB RAM. What’s recommended though is an Intel Core i7-3770 or an AMD FX-8350 CPU, Nvidia GTX 780 or AMD R9 290 graphics card, 8 GB of RAM and 19 GB free hard-disk space. Anthem Now in Alpha

Bioware’s Anthem has every part of the game functioning and is now off to its alpha testing. According to general manager Casey Hudson, all the important pieces are now in the game and they are now ready to move on to the “bug-fixing, testing, and tuning”. This, of course, will be a lot of work as well since the game is so big. Hudson adds that “there’s a ton of work ahead, but everyone knows what they need to do and is working with a level of passion”. A demo for Anthem is expected to launch by February 1, 2019.

Hitman 2 Reveals Second Level Santa Fortuna

Io Interactive and Warner bros have released a new trailer showcasing Hitman 2’s second level. The second level is in Santa Fortuna, a small village within the Columbian jungle that also looks like a holiday destination. Based on the trailer, it appears like Agent 47 will be dealing with three cartel leaders. Santa Fortuna also features caves, ruins, and some other locations. The trailer also showed how players can take advantage of their surroundings to eliminate enemies.

Pathfinder: Kingmakers Out Now

Owlcat Games’ Pathfinder: Kingmaker is out now and it offers an epic adventure. It comes with a launch trailer that is amazing but the most notable is the character creation trailer that is detailed and at the same time complex. The devs of the game estimate that the gameplay is about 40 hours to finish for the main campaign. If you would want to finish all the side quests another 40 hours will be added for a total of 80 hours. That is a lot of time to complete a game which means that it has a lot of content.

Resident Evil 2 is a Brand New Entry in the Series, Capcom Says

Resident Evil 2 is not a remake of the original, but instead is a brand new entry to the Resident Evil series. This is how Capcom sees the game, according to Resident Evil 2 producers Yoshiaki Hirabayashi and Tsuyoshi Kanda. The remake seems like an evolution of the series as it gives players a fresh experience like dirt and scars appearing in real time on characters. Zombies now also react depending on how players attack them. Resident Evil 2 will be available starting January 25th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Riot Offers Rewards for Players Who Tune in During World Championship

Riot Games will be giving rewards to those who will be watching the 2018 World Championship. This is in line with their plan to “integrate watching esports with playing League of Legends” by rewarding their fan base. Those who will log in on the esports portal and then watch the games and also play champion on display during the competition will get rewards. Some of the rewards would include World tokens, emotes, icons, borders, chromas and more. There are also some secret rewards that will be given.
