Red Dead Redemption 2 Classification Sparks PC Release Rumors

A rating for Red Dead Redemption 2 posted by the Australian Classification Board sparked new rumors of the game coming to PC. The game has received a rating of MA 15+ on August 20th, 11 months after it first received a “multi-platform” classification on the same website. To add on top of this is the recent move of Rockstar Games to roll out a game launcher. As Rockstar is still mum on this, we would have to wait until they release official word about it.


MediEvil’s Demo Available Now

During Sony’s recent State of Play stream, the company has announced that a demo for the upcoming remake of MediEvil is currently available on the Playstation Network. Those interested to try out the game may do so until October 6th. The demo will allow players to try out the same levels from the original PS1 disc which are “Dan’s Crypt” and “The Graveyard.” The remake of MediEvil will be available starting October 25th exclusively on the PlayStation 4.


The Last of Us 2 Finally Gets a Release Date

The Last of Us Part 2 has finally received its release date! Sony has announced that the game will be launching on February 21, 2020 and is exclusively available on the PlayStation 4. The first game launched for the PS3 back in 2013. The Last of Us Part 2 will feature the protagonist Ellie, while the previous game’s protagonist, Joel, will be making a comeback. Developer Naughty Dog also mentioned that Part 2 will shy away from disturbing violence.


Modern Warfare’s Spec Ops Survival Mode Timed Exclusive on PS4

Activision has revealed that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s Spec Ops Survival Mode will be exclusive on the PlayStation 4 for an entire year. This news did not go well for players on other platforms, as the Modern Warfare subreddit thread was bombarded with complaints, and a lot of not-so-family-friendly reactions. Previous timed-exclusives only ran for a few days to a week, and the reactions do not come as a surprise considering other players would have to wait for a year to try Spec Ops Survival Mode on their chosen platform.


Eastshade Heading to Consoles Next Month

Open world indie game Eastshade is coming to consoles next month. Eastshade first released on PC in February of this year, and it will be available for players on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 starting October 21st. Eastshade is about a travelling painter who follows his mother’s last wishes as he explores the island in search of beautiful landscapes he could paint. He will also be able to meet new friends and even uncover secrets along the way. If you’re up for a more relaxed gameplay, Eastshade could be the perfect game for you.


Sony Announces New Game Arise: A Simple Story

Sony announced a new game in its recent State of Play. Arise: A Simple Story is a platformer puzzle game developed by Piccolo and published by Techland. The game tells the story of a Viking chief who journeys to the afterlife. The game’s trailer shows some of its gameplay which includes stealth, solving puzzles, and platforming. The game is slated to release sometime in December 2019.


Civilization 6 Coming to PS4 and Xbox One in November

Civilization 6 is heading to consoles this year. It will be available on PS4 and Xbox One on November 22nd. The base game is sold separately from its expansions which are packed in one bundle. The console release will also include four additional content packs which contain Poland Civilization & Scenario Pack, Vikings Scenario Pack, Australia Civilization & Scenario Pack, and Persia and Macedon Civilization & Scenario Pack.


Modern Warfare Campaign Trailer Features Captain Price

The first official story trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been revealed. The trailer stars Captain Price who is on the move as he tracks down a dangerous chemical weapon that fell into the hands of a dangerous terrorist group. This trailer gives us a first look at Modern Warfare’s campaign. It also gives us a look at some familiar faces, as well as some new ones such as the freedom fighter Farah Karim.


First Legendary Bounty Announced for Red Dead Online

The September 24 update for Red Dead Online introduces the first Legendary Bounty, The Wolf Man. Those who wish to take him on can visit a Bounty Board for full details. Successfully completing the Wolf Man Legendary Bounty will reward players with Red Strayhorn Boots which will be sent through the Post Office or Camp Lockbox.


I Love You, Colonel Sanders Out Now for Free

KFC’s dating sim I Love You, Colonel Sanders is available now for free on Steam. The bizarre dating sim stars Colonel Sanders who was revamped with an anime look. Players will be off to culinary school where their ultimate goal is to become the apple of Colonel Sander’s eye. Aside from trying to romance the colonel, the game also features cooking battles against rivals.


Cities: Skylines’ Campus Expansion Now on Consoles

The Campus expansion for Cities: Skylines is now available on Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The Campus expansion allows players to place university districts as well as Academic Works, and the Var-City sports arena to their cities. Aside from the Campus Expansion, Paradox Interactive also released a couple of additional content which are Content Creator Pack: University City and Radio Station Pack 3.


Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Beta has Set a New Record

A new record has been set by the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare beta for the franchise. According to Activision, the beta was the largest in the history of Call of Duty, having the highest total number of users, highest number of hours played, highest peak concurrent number for PS4, Xbox One, and PC combined. Activision has said that there were millions who played in the beta. The beta had first been available for those who preordered the game and was eventually opened for everyone.


Fortnite Announces Patch V10.40

Fortnite announced a new patch which is version 10.40 and its most notable change is for the way that the controller aiming and customization works. The patch comes with new and reworked settings. Other settings like the look sensitivity, aim sensitivity and build sensitivity are still there but an advanced menu will be available in order to change some settings on how the aiming works on a controller. The aim assist will also get a rework in the patch, plus the addition of the Combine mode.


New Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order Trailer Announced

A new Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order trailer is set to launch this Thursday as announced by Respawn Entertainment. This will be a part of the live stream for Triple Force Friday. The broadcast will be from the filming location of Star Wars Episode IV: The Rise of the Skywalker at Pinewood Studios in London. Along with the trailer is a reveal of some never-before-seen products for the game. The live stream will be available via the Star War’s YouTube channel, Twitch channel and Mixer channel.


Platformer Dead Cells Reaches 2.4 Million Units Sold

Motion Twin announced that their Castlevania-inspired game called Dead Cells was able to reach 2.4 million copies sold across all its platforms. This has been announced during the developer’s interview with Destructoid. The game had been selling very well on the Nintendo Switch reaching “insane” amounts said the game’s marketing guru Steve Filby. The game’s one-more-run style is perfect for the hand-held console. The 2 million mark was reached in May, so the 400,000 sold was for the 4 months since.


Dragon Ball FighterZ Shares Trailer of New DLC Character Gogeta

A new gameplay video has been shared by Bandai Namco for their fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ. The video is for their next DLC character Gogeta (SSGSS). Gogeta is the fused version of the powerful Goku and Vegeta. Since Gogeta is a fused version of the two characters, he posses the combined looks and personality traits of the two. He is one pretty tough character as you will see in the video trailer. His mid-air multi-kicks are something to behold. Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now.


Bohemia Interactive Reveals New Map for Dayz

Bohemia Interactive has introduced the new map for DayZ and it is called Livonia. This map is actually based on the Contact Expansion map of Arma 3. Along with the map is a new enemy type which are bears. The map’s size is 163 kilometers squared. It has lakes, rivers as well as heavily forested areas. The weather in this area will most likely have rain and thunderstorms so protective gear will be required. No release date has been shared for the new map but it is said to be “coming soon.”


Humanity Announced for PS4 and PSVR by 2020

An announcement trailer was shared by developer tha ltd. and publisher Enhance for their new game called Humanity. The game is inspired by transcendental beings making a simulator for human behavior. The game had first been revealed in Sony’s State of Play last September 24th and the game is set to launch by 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR. Enhance will also be helping with the game’s development such as level design and gameplay consulting. More information will be available by 2020.


League of Legends Patch 9.20 Comes With Western Skins

The League of Legends patch 9.20 is now available on the PBE. The most notable things in the patch are that the tweaks for the Garden which will still need a round of testing. Victor has some changes coming to him as well as Shaco. The resident killer clown of Runeterra has a host of adjustments as well. For the skins arriving with the patch, there is a trio of High Noon skins putting a sheriff’s hat on Ashe and more. Veterans Online Arrives on Steam Early Access

The free-to-play top-down PvP action shooter called Veterans Online has made its way to Steam Early Access. The game is designed with eSports in mind, “balancing competitiveness and fun, allowing for fast-action team gameplay that uses the individual skill of each player.” In the game’s Early Access, there will be two modes available which are Territory Control and Capture the Flag. Characters are fully customizable and updates should be expected across the Early Access period of the game.


The Elder Scrolls: Legends’ Expansion Jaws of Oblivion Revealed

The Elder Scrolls: Legends is a free-to-play strategy card game taking place in Tamriel. The latest expansion for the game has been announced and it is called Jaws of Oblivion which will take players to Mehrunes Dagon’s Daedic plane of Oblivion. This will come with 75+ new cards that are inspired by The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, a new playmat, two new premade theme decks, four new card backs, new music and visual effects and a new invade mechanic. Jaws of Oblivion is arriving on October 8.


Rimelands: Hammer of Thor to Launch for the Switch Next Month

From Dicework Games and Crescent Moon Games LLC comes a turn-based RPG called Rimlands: Hammer of Thor. You will get to play as Rose Cristo, a young treasure hunter who is set to find out the mystery of an enemy that showed up in your world. The game offers an adventure fantasy world, an intriguing plot, turn-based fighting system, three skill trees which are the barbarian, assassin and shaman plus a crafting system. Rimelands: Hammer of Thor will be launching for the Nintendo Switch on October 4.
