Fan-Favorite Gun Game Mode Returns to Modern Warfare

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has received its latest patch, and it includes the fan-favorite Gun Game mode. Gun Game pits players into a free-for-all match where players will take on each other using low-level weapons at the start of the match. Stronger weapons can be acquired by reaching certain kill counts. The first to reach a certain tier, or whoever is highest in ranking at the end of the match, wins the game. The latest patch also includes some fixes, and full details can be found in the game’s official site.

GT Sport Adds Lamborghini Next Year

Lamborghini has collaborated with GT Sport to bring the brand to the game. At the Gran Turismo Championship World Finals in Monaco, the new Lamborghini Vision GT has been unveiled, and it looks like a futuristic version of the Batmobile. The vehicle has a single seat and is a hybrid V12. The driver climbs into it like a pilot would in a fighter jet. The vehicle displays information by projecting it into the air, around the driver’s head. It is set to arrive in GT Sport in Spring 2020.

Star Citizen’s 40-Player Theaters of War Presented at CitizenCon

At this weekend’s CitizenCon, Cloud Imperium Games revealed Star Citizen’s upcoming 40-player Theaters of War mode. This mode is a multiplayer co-op and competitive game mode that combines space vehicle combat with first-person shooting. The mode comes in three phases: Phase One will be a traditional FPS capture-and-control match, Phase Two will feature vehicular combat and FPS on a larger map, and finally, Phase Three involves a one-person fighter craft in space also with FPS elements on the side. No Man’s Sky Releasing Synthesis Update Soon

Hello Games’ Sean Murray has announced in his latest Development Update on the game’s website that they are releasing a new update that focuses on “a number of polish features.” The update is dubbed Synthesis, and according to Murray, it addresses areas of the game they knew “folks in the community were crying out for.” They are planning to release this “very soon,” although the post did not mention how soon it’s going to be. Murray added that they can’t wait to release and share it to everyone.

Cyberpunk 2077 Now on Final Stages of Development

CD Projekt Red is happy to announce that Cyberpunk 2077 is now in its final stages of development, according to a video that details its fiscal report for Q3 2019. CDPR mentioned that the game has reached a point where the team working on it is now ready to start localizing text into supported languages. This could only mean that the game is right on schedule for its April 16 release. Cybperpunk 2077 is set to launch for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.

COD Modern Warfare is 2019’s Best-Selling Digital Launch

SuperData has reported that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is 2019’s best-selling digital launch. According to SuperData’s report, the game has sold an estimated 4.75 million digital units on PC and consoles. This is quite impressive since the report came out end of October, and Modern Warfare launched October 26th. In related news, Apex Legends has also seen its best month since its release as it generated 45 million dollars from in-game purchases in October across all its platforms. It generated 16 million dollars back in September.

Elite Dangerous Getting a Huge Update in January

Elite Dangerous is rolling out its next large update in January, and players can test some of its new features in a beta starting November 27th. This update will focus on addressing “recent and longstanding issues and bugs.” Developers are working at resolving game-breaking bugs as well as stability issues that have been causing crashes, softlocks, and disconnects. The first beta run will be available for players on PC until December 2nd. The developers are looking to extend the beta to consoles.

Dreamhack Winter 2019 Kicks Off in Sweden This Week

Gaming lifestyle festival host, DreamHack, will be staging DreamHack Winter 2019 with a series of esports events featuring Fortnite and CS:GO tournaments. The Fortnite and CS:GO tournaments will take place from November 29th until December 1st in Sweden. The organization is also hosting a “Longest Lan Ever” Bring Your Own Computer Event where players can play against other gamers and friends inside a huge hall. GTFO Getting Constantly-Evolving Rundown Missions

10 Chambers Collective is adding a new dynamic, constantly-evolving set of missions in GTFO, called Rundown. In Rundown, prisoners will be getting a work order from the warden which includes a certain set of expeditions for players. The expeditions get harder as players go deeper into the facility’s depths, but rewards get more exciting, 10 Chambers Collective said. Each Rundown has a timer, and challenges will be replaced when time runs out. GTFO does not have an official release date yet, but its Steam page lists it as 2019.

Darksiders Genesis System Requirements Announced

Darksiders Genesis is set to launch on PC and Google Stadia in December, and its system requirements for PC have been revealed. The game requires a 64-bit processor and operating system in order to run. At minimum, it requires 4GB RAM, an AMD FX-8320 (3.5 GHz) or Intel i5-4690K (3.5 GHz) or better processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 graphics card, DirectX 11, and 15 GB hard disk space. Its recommended requirements are: 8GB RAM, Intel Core i7-3930K (3.2 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (3.2 GHz) or better CPU, and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GPU.

Retro shooter Amid Evil is releasing a free DLC called Ancient Alphas, and it gives players a look at how the game looks like during its development. This DLC will let players play through the areas that did not make it into the final game. The areas include alternate visions of some levels, and more. The expansion is free for anyone who owns the game.

New Moster and More Coming to Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

Capcom is getting set to release a brand-new update for its action-adventure, Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. According to the developer, this grand update will feature a new monster and a host of other interesting features. The said monster was teased in a trailer that came with the announcement. The developer promises the game to be truly remarkable with beautiful graphics, smooth controls, and a bot-killing arsenal of upgradable construction tools. Knights Of Light Coming Soon to Steam Early Access

Rumbling Games Studio has announced that Knights of Light is coming to Steam Early Access soon. For those who don’t already know, Knights of Light is an open-world 3rd person action-adventure game that is set during the medieval era. The game was introduced last year and the developers had launched a kick-starter campaign for it but unfortunately, it didn’t hit the mark. However, the studio was not deterred and persisted to develop the game and now they are almost ready to re-introduce the title.

Breathing Fear Switch Release Announced

Breathing Fear will soon be released on the Nintendo Switch according to developer LunarPixel. This 2D pixel horror-adventure game has received very positive reviews on Steam’s comments. You can use this as a reference point should you be undecided about grabbing a copy. With the announcement also came a gameplay trailer that shows the protagonist as he traverses an abandoned house in the woods that is believed to be cursed. Drageus Games has officially announced that Event Horizon: Space Defense will be released on the Nintendo Switch on December 13, 2019. The developer describes this game as a base defense game set in the Event Horizon universe. The game sees you defending your space station against aliens from more than twelve different factions. New Warlock Class Card Announced for Hearthstone

Hearthstone’s Descent of Dragons expansion is on the horizon and as such, new cards are being introduced. Deranged Netherwing is the latest card to join the fray and it looks rather interesting. The card is a five-cost Warlock Dragon with five Attack, five Health, and a Battlecry. If the player holds a Dragon in their hand, it deals three damage to all other characters. It will be interesting to see the different ways in which players utilize a card of this stature.

Team Solomid or TSM for short, has concluded their League of Legends roster with Splyce’s ex-AD Carry Kobbe. The player was previously with Splyce since signing in 2015. According to Kobbe, he is very much excited about the opportunity and is “looking forward to starting a new adventure”. Surely, he will be missed by his Splcye supporters but he takes with him, his loyal fans as he embarks on his new path. It will be interesting to see how he adjust to the new team.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 Gets New Trailer and Release Date Announced

Bandai Namco has officially announced the Japanese release date for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 and it is March 26, 2020. The developer released a new trailer to provide the announcement with the added hype it deserves. The trailer brandishes some of the characters that will be featured in the game which gives us a look at the stunning art-style and impressive graphical representation of the game’s environment and characters. One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.
