Warframe’s Revenant Revealed in New Trailer
A new trailer has been revealed by Digital Extremes and it is for the Revenant of Warframe. This new frame is built with heavy defense abilities and is for a fast-paced playstyle. The Revenant is able to Enthrall enemies and turn them into allies. They also have the Mesmer Skin that can redirect damage as well as stun those who attacks you. A quick dash ability is also available called the Reave ability. The most notable of all is the Danse Macabre, where you become a death machine of energy beams.
New Fortnite Skins Leaked
The dataminers are at it again! This time they were able to unearth some new skins for Fortnite. Five new skins were shared in @FNBRLeaks’ Twitter feed and they are Far Out Man, Musha, Enforcer, Backbone and Armadillo. Far Out Man offers a 60’s hippie vibe. Musha and the Enforcer offer samurai and ninja flavors to the game. Backbone, on the other hand, has a Hell’s Angels biker gang look. Lastly, the Armadillo will wrap your character in desert fatigues. All these skins have female counterparts too!
Generation Zero Co-op Progress Unlocked for All Players
Co-op games have one frustrating thing in common: not being able to save your own progress, especially if you’re not the host player. This is bound to change as the co-op shooter Generation Zero will allow both players to save each of their progress regardless of whose world they’re playing in. Executive producer Tobias Andersson confirmed this during this year’s Gamescom, and added that there are limits to this, especially if one of the two players have progressed much further than the other.
Bless Unleashed Announced for Xbox One
The free-to-play MMORPG game, Bless Unleashed is coming to Xbox One this year and Xbox One X by next year. The game offers a rich backstory in an untamed world. It offers combo-driven mechanics with player customization and cooperation in PvE and competitive multiplayer in PvP. Gameplay possibilities are endless as well as the amount of content it possesses. The game also runs on the Unreal Engine 4 that of course gives it unparalleled visuals. Get to choose from the 5 fantasy classes available.
More Details Revealed on World of Warships: Legends
Free-to-play naval warfare MMO World of Warships: Legends will be released next year on consoles. The game promises players on the ultimate naval combat experience that were never seen on consoles before. Victor Kislyi, founder and CEO of Wargaming, said during Gamescom 2018 that they tailored players’ experience by keeping in mind how play on consoles and PC are different. The game on consoles will be far more action-packed, and controls were reworked. Kislyi added that this game is not simply a port of the PC version.
Strange Brigade Reveals Fifth Character
The third-person 1930’s adventure Strange Brigade is launching on August 28th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game originally has four characters to choose from, all with their very own weapons, tactics as well as special superhuman powers. And for those who were able to pre-order the game or are able to purchase it within 30 days after its launch, they will receive a free fifth character who is an explorer, a gentleman, a prospector, a journalist, a spy, a diplomat and a traveler – Mr. Winson Bey.
Spacelords Now Available for Free on PC and Consoles
The once known as Raiders of the Broken Planet has been relaunched as Spacelords from developers MercurySteam. The game is now available as free to play for PC, PlayStation 4 and XBox One. Spacelords has gone through a complete revamp of its progression system in order to welcome all types of players from the new ones to the experts. The devs are also planning to add more new content for the game in the months to come. Along with the announcement is the launch of the game’s campaign trailer.
Battlerite Royale to Launch with Up to 20 Champions
Battlerite Royale will be heading to Steam Early Access in September. The battle royale spin-off will be available for the price of 19.99 Euros. The Early Access build will include 20 Champions plus a series of bonuses that will be available for existing players of Battlerite. Players who own the All Champions Pack and those who purchased Battlerite in Early Access will get a 50% coupon which is valid for 10 days and can be used for purchasing the Early Access version of Battlerite Royale.
New Clubs System Announced for Rocket League
A new Club System is being introduced by Psyonix in Rocket League and it will help players “organize and compete as a proper team”. This new system is said to foster a sense of camaraderie between you as well as your friends in-game. This can be done by having distinct tags as well as team colors that you will be sharing with your group in the game. In addition to this, the clubs will also have their own in-game effects. This will be available by August 29th along with the new progression system.
Black Ops 4’s Exclusive PC Features Detailed
A new trailer was released for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s PC version and it highlights the game’s exclusive features for the platform. The trailer is about a minute long with all its footage captured on PC. It has an ultrawide and multi monitor support and it is specifically designed for a mouse and keyboard. It, of course, has true 4K resolution as well as a completely uncapped framerate. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 is set to launch on October 12 and will be available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Fortnite Adds Score Royale Mode
Fortnite’s latest patch, update 5.30, is out this week and it adds the Limited-Time Mode Score Royale. This mode gives players a new objective: get the highest total number of Points. Players earn Points by collecting coins which are scattered all throughout the map. The first player to hit 2,000 Points wins the match. This mode will test how players will plan out how they play because the earlier they get points, the better – but with other players with the same goal, players must rethink their strategies.

Fortnite Gets a Competitive Mode
Epic has made the announcement that Fortnite is getting a competitive mode. The devs said that they are aware that there are competitive players out there that would want more opportunities to compete directly with each other within the same match, and of course get recognized for their achievements. Details of this new mode are not yet available right now, but players are expecting ranked play. We would need to wait a little bit longer in order to know more about this newly announced mode.
Star Citizen Free to Play Right Now
If you have nothing better to do right now, why not go on a space simulation with Star Citizen which is currently free to play on PC. This free weekend run for the game will only be available up until August 27th, Monday. Interested players will get to play the latest Alpha 3.2 build with a dogfighting stage Arena Commander as well as a first-person shooter module called Star Marine. Overcooked 2’s New Game+ Mode Out Now

Fortnite Sees Revenue Slowing Down
It looks like Fortnite is nearing its plateau as its soaring revenue is actually slowing down. According to Superdata Research, the game only had a 2% increase since their June revenue. This is very low considering the Season 5 battle pass had just been released last month. When the game launched on mobile, it averaged to 2 million Dollars a day in July. Right now, Fortnite is making 2 billion Dollars for just this year bringing the net worth of Epic Games from 825 million Dollars in 2012 to 8 billion Dollars today.
Black Ops 4’s Battle Royale Vehicles Will Be Well-Balanced for All Terrains
Treyarch has revealed that vehicles in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4’s battle royale won’t overwhelm players on foot because they are well-balanced. Treyarch’s director of communications, John Rafacz said in an interview that the game has a range of vehicles that they think are well-balanced and matches with on-foot combat. Players can try out vehicles in Call of Duty: Black ops 4’s Blackout during its beta on September 10th on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Overwatch Launches Another Free Weekend
Overwatch is having another free weekend! The free weekend is available now, and will run until 11:59 PT on Monday, August 27th. The Overwatch free weekend gives players access to all 28 Overwatch heroes as well as all its maps. The following modes are available as well: Quick Play, Custom Games, and Overwatch Arcade. Any progress during the free weekend can be carried over to the full game should you wish to purchase it.
Mysterious Purple Cube Spotted in Fortnite
It looks like a new thematic change is going to happen in Fortnite which players presume will lead to Season 6 of the game. Recently, sudden lightning strikes wiped out the cacti in the southeast part of the map. When all the cacti were gone, a giant mysterious bouncy cube appeared. There are strange symbols all over it, and when you stand near it, your shield is refilled. Shooting at it will cause sparks and because of the cube’s appearance, the sky changed color too, like a purplish sunset.
Call of Cthulu Gameplay Unveiled at Gamescom
The very first gameplay for Focus Home Interactive’s Call of Cthulu has been revealed. The video gives us a glimpse at the game’s branching dialogue options as well as sleuthing. The trailer shows the main character Edward Pierce as he investigates the death of acclaimed artist Sarah Hawkins at the Hawkins mansion on Dark Water Island. Call of Cthulu is an investigative role-playing game that tasks players to interrogate locals, unearth clues, and solve crimes. It launches on PC and consoles on October 30th.
Next Call of Duty World War II DLC Pack Adds a Tesla Gun
The upcoming Call of Duty: WW2 DLC pack called Shadow War will be bringing some pretty amazing stuff to the game. The new war mode mission called Operation Arcane will give players the chance to use a Tesla Gun, as well as a super soldier serum that they can inject themselves with. Also, players would have to infiltrate a secret enemy research facility that can be found in the Austrian mountains. The Allies should destroy classified tech and steal enemy secrets and schematics.
Destiny 2 Forsaken Expansion Release Times Announced
Destiny 2: Forsaken is launching on September 4th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This will take place after a server maintenance that will start at 3 PM BST and will last for about 3 hours and end at 6 PM BST. The size of the download has not been mentioned but most possibly it will be a light download. Forsaken’s raid will be available ten days after which will start on September 14th which is a Friday at 6 PM BST. Also, servers will go down with the Patch 2.0.0 that will launch on August 28th.
Riot Will Give Blood Donors Free League of Legends Skin in the Netherlands
Riot Games has partnered with blood supplier Sanquin in the Netherlands to help save lives, and launched a promotion called #MyFirstBlood. League of Legends players who will donate blood through Sanquin will get a Blood Moon Thresh. This is part of promotions ahead of the EU LCS Summer Finals. Blood donors must pose with a selfie at the donation location and send it to Sanquin so they can get their free skin.
