Studio Working on Remake of Lucas Arts’ Outlaw

A fan of LucasArts’ Outlaws is making a remake of the game using assets from Call of Juarez Bound in Blood. The remake is currently being worked on by KlStudio, and by the looks of it, this is going to be a mod for Bound in Blood. Outlaws is a first-person shooter released back in 1997 by LucasArts. It has a Wild-West setting and follows the protagonist retired U.S. Marshal James Anderson. We would have to see though, whether LucasArts will allow this mod to be released, as the company is quite strict when it comes to fan remakes.

The twist here is that each player will be encouraged to track down one specific victim while trying to fight off their own assassin. The battle royale mechanics won’t make this the next Fortnite though, as it will only require a minimum of four players to play.

Season 2 kicks off on February 14th, 2019.
