Mortal Kombat 11 Rewards To Be Adjusted

Fans of Mortal Kombat 11 had been concerned about the progression of the single-player campaign when it comes to earning rewards. Because of the current ratio of time to rewards in the game, it is very difficult to earn enough currency in-game to get any of the cosmetic items or to get anything worthwhile for that matter. NetherReal Studios noted the problem and said that they will be making the fixes for that. The change will not need a patch and can be done in the background by adjusting some values.


Fortnite Battle Pass Gifting Found By Dataminers

Fortnite dataminers were able to dig up information about another gifting feature that will be available in the game for next season. This actually proves to be true as Fortnite news reports Battle Passes can soon be gifted by players. This will most likely be available by Season 9. But of course, we have to wait for Epic to make the announcement so that it will be official. Fortnite had a gifting system previously which was available November last year and was only available for one week.


Microsoft Announces Confirmed Xbox One Exclusive Games Of 2019

Microsoft has announced their roster of exclusive games for the Xbox One that will be launching this year. One of which is Battletoads which doesn’t have a specific release date as of yet. The next one is a DLC called the Cuphead: The Last Delicious Course, this too doesn’t have a specific release date yet. Crackdown 2 which launched in February this year. Gears 5 and Ori And The Will Of Wisps are also on the list but no specific release date as well. Lastly, Phoenix Point which is set for June 2019.


Little Misfortune Demo Available On Steam And Itch.io

The adventure game Little Misfortune has a 15-minute demo that you can play. The game is all about an eight-year-old girl named Misfortune Ramirez Hernandez who follows her friend called Mr. Voice as he promises Eternal Happiness once Misfortune finishes his game. The game offers exploration, choices and consequences. The game seems to be strange and a bit disturbing, so before you commit to purchasing it, you can try out the demo which is available through Steam and Itch.io without the DRM.


Blackrose Art’s Valhall To Have Closed Alpha

Blackrose Arts will be having a closed alpha for their upcoming Vikings and battle royale game called Valhall. The developers said that they wanted the feedback of the early players to guide them into the full development of the game. The closed alpha is actually not in a state that is ready for “prime time”, so everyone who will be joining the closed alpha would have to sign a non-disclosure agreement. For right now, there is no specific release date available for the game.


Anthem’s 1.1.0 Update Includes New Stronghold with Bug Fixes and Improvements

Anthem has a new update which includes the previously teased Stronghold, The Sunken. This update also comes with various improvements and fixes to some issues in the game. BioWare community lead Andrew Johnson, who confirmed this update, did not specify the fixes and improvements the update will bring. Johnson also said they will be providing an update to the game’s 90-day calendar when the patch notes are released.


Deep Diving Simulator Release Date Announced

The release date for the game Deep Diving Simulator has been announced. The game will be available starting May 27, 2019 on PC. The game brings players to a breathtaking underwater world that’s full of life. Players will take the role of a diver who helps a friendly professor who’s asking for assistance in retrieving different objects under the sea. The game will also teach players what it takes to be a professional diver like managing oxygen levels, and how to avoid life-threatening decompression sickness.


Battlefield 5’s Squad Conquest Mode Returns

DICE is bringing back Squad Conquest to Battlefield 5. Players can start playing this mode on April 25th. Squad Conquest is available in the Arras, Rotterdam, and Hamada maps. The mode will pit 8 players against 8 other players as they work to gain control over three key locations across the three maps mentioned. There’s also very limited access to vehicles in Squad Conquest, so moving to a different location would be challenging.


Dark Future: Blood Red States Release Date Announced

The release date for the turn-based strategy game Dark Future: Blood Red States has been revealed. The game is set to be released on May 16, 2019 and will be available for PC. Dark Future originally released as a board game back in 1988, and the reboot will surely bring back memories for fans of the game. Blood Red States is set in the year 2023, and America has turned into an urban wasteland. Players will control vehicles as they take on missions in exchange for bounty.


Muse Dash Launching for PC and Switch in June

PeroPeroGames’ rhythm action game Muse Dash is coming to PC and Nintendo Switch this June. The game has quite a huge following in Japan, and was teased at Nintendo Direct. The game features an anime art style, and characters will dash their way across platforms to the tune of songs from Chinese and Japanese artists. Muse Dash also features two button controls, side-scrolling mechanics, timed dodges, and beat-based attacks.


Beyond the Veil Launches on Steam

Beyond the Veil, a game described by its developer Incubator Creations as “a dark, top-down-shooter-RPG hybrid,” is now available on Steam. Players take on the role of a wanderer who’s out on a quest to awaken sleeping gods. But the journey won’t be easy as players will need to “fight tooth and nail” in order to survive, and scavenge the world for resources. The game features a fast-paced combat that the devs say will require skills to master.

Perfect World Entertainment and Echtra Games have revealed a new hero class for Torchlight Frontiers, the Railmaster. The Railmaster is armed with a huge hammer and comes with a battle train. The new hero class will be available for players who are taking part in the game’s Closed Alpha. it will also become available for all players once the game officially launches.


Apex Legends Players Use Supply Bins as Jump Pads

Apex Legends players have recently discovered that supply bins found scattered around the map can be used as jump pads. Players only need to open the lid and then punch it a few times inside to be able to use it as a jump pad. Jumping on top of the open lid will allow players to catapult themselves into great distances – much higher than using an Octane jump pad! One Reddit user also said that players can “store” the jump for later use. It’s not clear whether Respawn will be fixing this bug or not.


World War Z Sales Surpasses 1 Million in First Week

Zombie shooter World War Z has surpassed 1 million in sales in just its first week since its release. Saber Interactive co-founder Matthew Karch explained in an interview with VentureBeat that the game did better than expected outside the US. It also somehow managed to attract 70,000 concurrent players. Overall, the game also saw strong sales in Europe and the US. World War Z launched for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on April 16th.


Mortal Kombat 11 Reveals Frost in Latest Trailer

Mortal Kombat 11 is out now on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but NetherRealm is not quite done yet with the character reveals! The latest trailer the studio revealed highlights the final character joining the game’s roster, Frost. She was first introduced in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, and served as an apprentice to Sub-Zero. She comes with her signature cryokinetic powers.


NetherRealm Working on Towers of Time Progression for Mortal Kombat 11

NetherRealm is working on Mortal Kombat 11’s Towers of Time mode, as a lot of players have reported that it is not balanced. Some reviews for the game also noted the said issue, and the game even got deducted some points for it. Fortunately, NetherRealm community manager Tyler Lansdown said during the most recent Kombat Kast livestream that they are on the case. Lansdown added that changes will take effect server-side and will not require a client patch.


Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Gets New Trailer

Sega has released a new trailer for Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 – The Official Video Game. The trailer gives us a peek at the sports included in the game such as boxing, soccer, basketball, beach volleyball, tennis, swimming, and much more. The trailer also showed how players will be able to customize their avatar and teammates, with customization options like uniforms available. The game will launch in Japan on July 24th. It will also launch on western shores next year.


Outbreak: Lost Hope Now on PC

Survival horror game Outbreak: Lost Hope is now available on PC. The game takes place in the Outbreak universe, and players will follow the story of Gwen who escaped from an urban center during “the outbreak.” Gwen got separated from her daughter, Hope, because of an accident, and now she has to go and rescue her while fighting the undead. Players will also need to search for supplies, solve puzzles, and fight the horrors that Gwen is facing.


Next One Piece: World Seeker DLCs to Feature Sabo and Trafalgar Law

One Piece World Seeker is getting two more character DLCS, Bandai Namco has announced. The characters are Sabo, who will be added in the second Episode DLC, and Trafalgar Law who will be added in the third Episode DLC. We will see trailers for both characters in the next few days. Both Episode DLCs can be purchased separately, or as part of One Piece World Seeker’s Season Pass.


Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s Final DLC Out Now

Shadow of the Tomb Raider’s final DLC challenge tomb, The Path Home, is now available across all the game’s platforms. The Path Home will have Lara hunting through ancient tombs and tunnels in search of her allies that have mysteriously gone missing. This new challenge will be integrated in the game’s single-player campaign as a new side story. It will also be available in the Score Attack and Time Attack modes. The Path Home also brings the new Midnight Sentinel outfit and Silver Strike bow.


World War Z Dethrones The Division 2 in the UK Sales Charts

The Division 2 has been dethroned in the UK Sales Charts, as it saw a 32% decline in sales. The new top-selling game in the region is the recently released zombie game World War Z. The Division 2 now sits in the third spot, with FIFA 19 still holding on to second place. Also making it in the top five is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at 4th place, and Red Dead Redemption 2 in fifth.


Zombotron Now Available on PC

Indie game developer Ant Karlov and Armor Games Studios are happy to announce the release of their platform shooter Zombotron. The game is now available on Steam, and has a price tag of 14.99 Dollars. The developers took three years to develop the game. Players will play as Blaze Rush who is described as “a mercenary desperate for a job.” Follow his adventures as he also fights foes, and use a variety of weapons to eliminate them.
