Second Kingdom Hearts VR Experience Coming July 24th

The second Kingdom Hearts VR experience for PlayStation VR is coming on July 24th. The second VR experience will have players experience playing the game in virtual reality, featuring ” some new, yet familiar, worlds like Olympus Coliseum”. The VR Experience is available for players as a free download, and is a standalone product which means you don’t need to own Kingdom Hearts 3 on the PlayStation 4 in order to play it.

Redeemer: Enhanced Edition Out Now

Buka Entertainment and Ravenscourt’s top-down-action-brawler Redeemer: Enhanced Edition is available now on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC. In a statement, Sobaka Studio CEO Dimitry Kachkov said that it has been “a really long journey” and that he and his team “literally feel the future excitement of a new players when they will launch the game on the consoles all around the world.” This marks the first time the game will be playable in modern video game platforms.

Star Citizen’s Huge Alpha 3.6 Update Out Now

Star Citizen’s latest update is huge, and it is finally available. The Star Citizen Alpha 3.6 update adds a new law system which will have NPCs attack offenders and have them pay for their crimes. Interestingly, this update also comes with new missions that will have players violate the law. Flyable ships can now also be purchased using in-game currency. Additionally, the update also brings more space stations, and a number of “quality-of-life” improvements.

Wargroove Doesn’t Have Cross-Play on PS4

Wargroove is set to launch on July 23rd on the PS4, however, players in the said platform won’t be able to experience cross-play with players using other platforms as the feature is not available. Developer Chucklefish confirmed this in an announcement on its blog. Cross-play is only available for players on Xbox One and PC. The developer said that PS4 players can still download community-made maps, though.

Dead or Alive 6 Getting a Second Season Pass

Dead or Alive 6’s Season Pass 2 is coming on July 23rd. Its Seaside Eden arena will also be coming to the game on the same day. The game’s Season Pass 2 will include Bonus Costume for Marie Rose and Honoka, Seaside Eden costumes, 2 Additional Costume sets, Vacation to Paradise BGM set, and 1 New Character with 5 Costumes. The Season Pass will be available on all platforms.

New Patch with Fixes for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night on Switch Coming Soon

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be getting a new patch for its Switch version. 505 Games is currently preparing for the release of the patch and is waiting the go signal from Nintendo, so a release date is not available at this time. This patch will contain bug fixes, Familiar changes, Shard adjustments, weapon adjustments, enemy HP increases, drop adjustments, some text corrections in the credits, and some fixes on the game’s map. Wolfenstein: Youngblood Pre-Load Times Revealed

Pre-loading times for Wolfenstein: Youngblood have been announced. Players who pre-ordered on the Nintendo Switch can pre-load the game starting now through the eShop. PC and Xbox One players can pre-load starting July 23rd. PlayStation 4 players can pre-load the game 48 hours before it launches on July 26th. The game will take up 20.6GB disk space on the Nintendo Switch, while on PC, it will require at least 40GB of free space.

Rainbow Six Quarantine Could Launch Before April 2020

Ubisoft has revealed during an investor call that Rainbow Six Quarantine will be released before the end of the fiscal year. This means the game could release before April 2020. Reports say that Ubisoft usually releases games at the beginning of the year, and Rainbow Six Quarantine has a big chance of getting that spot next year. Previously, Ubisoft also announced that Quarantine will be launching in early 2020.

Gears 5 Heroes Can Be Earned or Purchased

Heroes in Gears 5 won’t be automatically unlocked for players. According to Gears 5 multiplayer design director Ryan Cleven, these heroes need to be earned in-game, or purchased with the game’s Iron currency. “As new Hero characters impact gameplay, they will be both earnable and purchasable to players to maintain an equal playing field,” Cleven added. Gears 5 heroes are played in the game’s Arcade deathmatch mode.

CTR Nitro-Fueled Switch Load Times Fixed in Update

Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled has received its update 1.0.5 on the Switch, and this comes with a fix on the long load times on the handheld. With the update, the load time has been reduced by 10-15 seconds — originally, players would have to wait up to 40 seconds for a race to load, but the update has reduced it to 26 to 27 seconds loading time.

Dota 2 International 2019 Prize Pool Now at 30 Million Dollars

The prize pool for Dota 2 International 2019 is now over 30 million Dollars! This is the biggest prize pool so far in esports history. Fortnite World Cup’s prize pool was at 30 million Dollars which included a 3 million dollar prize for the winning team. The prize pool was funded by purchases of the International’s battle pass — 25% of each purchase is actually sent to the prize pool. 18 teams will be competing in this year’s tournament.

Pre-Cataclysm Challenges of Anthem Now Live

Anthem’s previously delayed event, is picking up with some pre-event challenges. These challenges are free-to-play and is called “The Oncoming Storm” and will involve crystals. This will run for about two weeks. Details about this have not been specified as of yet, but players are assuming that this is a pre-Cataclysm event that will warm players up to the main event. When Cataclysm arrives players will get to play in a new area, get new legendary weapons, and so much more.

Marvel’s Avengers Demo Footage to Arrive in August

Square Enix announced that they will be launching a Marvel’s Avenger demo footage a week after Gamescom 2019. Fans were excited about the game since it had been announced during E3 2019, but only those who attended were able to see the demo. Gamescom will be happening on August 20 to 24 so we can probably expect this demo footage as early as August 26. Very little hype is building around the game since there is only a little information about it. Marvel’s Avengers is set to launch on May 15, 2020.

Mortal Kombat 11 Spawn DLC Details Shared

The creator of Spawn, Todd McFarlane was excited to announce that his iconic character, Spawn will be the upcoming fighter for Mortal Kombat 11. McFarlane said that NetherRealm Studios came to him with the offer, and since he did love the Mortal Komat franchise he accepted. There was one condition though, he wanted that Spawn be over the top as much as possible. The developers of Mortal Kombat 11 were happy to oblige. For right now there are no other specifics given about this upcoming character.

Get the First Look at Drodo’s Auto Chess

The original team that was responsible for Dota 2’s Auto Chess mod, Drodo Studio was able to create their own Auto Chess game. Right now a playable alpha build of the game is available for PC. If you are one of those who were able to pre-register, then the game is playable for you right now. Drodo’s Auto Chess is actually an Epic Games Store exclusive, which is understandable since Dota 2’s Auto Chess is from Valve. The standalone version of the game is already available on mobile devices.

New Cyberpunk 2077 Details Shared in Demo

CD Projekt Red presented their upcoming game Cyberpunk 2077 to the Polish press and it came with a new gameplay demo. With that demo, we get to find out some new details about the game like players are able to talk to NPCs even when they are still on their car or bike. There will be different religions in the Night City, bots are able to hack at long distances, players are able to purchase clothes from merchants, small upgrades can be done by the players themselves and there is a weight limit for your inventory.

Headspun Launch Date Shared

An upcoming game about logic and emotion is set to arrive on August 28, 2019. The game is called Headspun and is about Theo Kavinsky who has just woken up from a five-week coma. He has no memory of what happened during the accident and his only hope are his conscious and subconscious voices who he named as Ted and Teddy. But Ted and Teddy don’t usually see eye to eye and must put their differences aside and work together for the sake of Theo. Headspun will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

New Features Revealed for Stronghold: Warlords

Two developer diaries were shared by Firefly Studios for their historical, real-time strategy game Stronghold: Warlords. The dev diary talks about the special player-requested features that are being planned for the game like siege towers, Fear Factor, combat, wall building, new formations and so much more. The features had been explained in detail in the video, which is when combined is about six and a half minutes long. The video is narrated by the game’s marketing director Nick Tannahill.

Ark: Survival Evolved Valguero Map Now Available

The ‘Valguero’ map of ARK: Survival Evolved is now available for consoles as announced by Studio Wildcard. The expansion map is a free downloadable upgrade that comes with more than 63 kilometers of new areas to explore including land and sea. There are eight biomes that come with different climates and dangers. A boss arena was added which will come with some vicious combat sequences. A huge cave system has also been added. New risks as well as new rewards are included as well.

Brand New Plants Vs. Zombies Game Announced

EA has made an announcement for Plants Vs. Zombies 3 and it looks like it will be a new Garden Warfare. Just this weekend, EA sent out some invites for a playtest for the new PvZ shooter and it has been codenamed as “Picnic”. The email said that “you are invited to participate in the new PvZ shooter (codename Picnic) playtest on Xbox One or PS4”. We also get to see a listing for a new Plants Vs. Zombies shooter to be released this fall. No final release date has been given for the game though.

Tier List Patch 9.14 of Teamfight Tactics Revealed

The tier list patch 9.14 for Teamfight Tactics has been shared and it includes the champions that were able to receive some improvements as well as some minor nerfs. The list for this is quite long, so you can go ahead and check it out in their site. This will include the champion rankings as well as the list of all the champions with their skills, stats, and tiers.

Two World Records Set by League of Legends Player

Hecaterina “Kinumi Cati” Eglise a competitive videogamer was able to set two new world records with the game League of Legends. She is no stranger when it comes to endurance gaming having previously set records in the ‘Longest videogame marathon’ for a JRPG, MMORPG, Final Fantasy and World of Warcraft. This time what she is adding to her achievements is the ‘Longest video game marathon on League of Legends’. This was held in Delft, The Netherlands and lasted for 30 hours straight.
