Ashen To Launch By The End Of The Year

Previously revealed during the Xbox E3 media briefing in 2015, Ashen – the co-op action RPG – will be launching by the end of the year. Developer Aurora44 was not able to share any news about the game for quite some time now and we have no idea if anything has changed especially about the release date of the game. As there are roughly just two and a half months before the year officially ends, the wait would not be that long. Ashen is a stylish fantasy game set in an open world for the Xbox One and PC.


Farming Simulator 19 New Trailer Features Animals

Giant Software shared the new ‘Tending to Animals’ gameplay trailer for Farming Simulator 19, and it starts out with a ridable horse which is a first for the game. You will also get to see the cows and how to tend to them and what they can give you in return – like milk. Some sheep can also be seen and you can harvest their wool to sell. There are chickens that lay eggs, as well as pigs and their quality food. Farming Simulator 19 launches on November 20th for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Mission 06 and 07 Featured In Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown Video

The game had been released in the US last July 26, 2018, for Nintendo Switch and PC, but due to the game’s low budget, it was not released anywhere else. The game must be doing well as their Tweet said, “We’ve been seeing all of your EU shop requests and we know it’s been a long time coming in fact, we might have a very exciting announcement soon”.


Chinese Server Of Eve Online Forces Hackers To Menial Labor

It looks like the Chinese servers for Eve Online has a new punishment for both the cheaters as well as the rulebreakers in the game. This has been dug up by dataminers from the limited-access test server of the game in the form of dialogue strings. Listening to the dialogue strings hint on a “penalty sentence” that will boot cheaters off the game and will receive their sentence upon next login. The punishment suggested is turning big rocks into smaller rocks which sounds like a tedious punishment.


Warframe’s Fortuna Expansion Heads to PC Next Month

Warframe’s Fortuna expansion will be releasing next month on PC. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will follow “soon after,” developer Digital Extremes announced. Fortuna is an entirely open-world expansion and it is 4-5 times larger than Plains of Edolon which was released last year. The massive expansion will go live free for all players in November. The exact date is yet to be announced.


Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Showcases Gameplay in New Trailer

Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden released a new trailer which showcases the game’s unique turn-based gameplay. The game’s combat is inspired by XCOM’s, but Road to Eden offers a lot more as things play out in real time as players explore the game’s world. Players are able to stealthily make their way around enemies, as well as scavenge for scrap and weapon parts on the wasteland. The mutants each have different skills which can be upgraded using artifacts and progressing in the game. Road to Eden is set for release December 4th.


Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 Release Date and Pre-Order Betas Announced

Both of the betas are exclusive for pre-order customers, with the first one scheduled for early December. The December beta will be multiplayer-focused and will include all 12 factions. The second beta will take place sometime in January just before the game officially releases. The second beta will include all content from the first one as well as single-player content.


Bonus Items Await Battlefield 5 Players Upon Launch

A small gift awaits those who will be playing Battlefield 5 when it launches. In a Tweet, EA DICE general manager Oskar Gabrielson shared a message to fans, thanking them for their support despite having to delay the game’s release, and announcing the two items that await them at launch. Those who will play the game within the first week its release will get the Oscar Mike Helmet and Oscar Mike Emblem for free. These will appear in players’ shipments in their Armory.


Steam User Base in China Now Over 30 Million

Steam now has over 30 million subscribers in China, Niko Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad revealed on Twitter. Ahmad said the increased availability of localized games, regional pricing as well as more friendly payment methods are responsible for its growth in the region. There is also a Chinese version of Steam which has not launched yet, but we’ll have to see whether it will also find similar success as the international version when it releases.


Dirty Bomb Development Halted

Splash Damage has decided to halt development on their Early Access game Dirty Bomb. The game enjoyed a huge player base on its early days and enabled the developers to push it through beta in August 2017. The game’s player base, however, did not stick around for too long. The developer announced they can no longer financially justify continuing work for the game, thus all work will be stopped. Refunds are going to be issued to those who purchased its All Merc DLC before January 2019.

Fortnite’s Halloween Event “Fortnitemares” Teased

A Spooktacular Halloween event is heading to Fortnite! The game’s Twitter handle tweeted a couple of poems hinting at the event. The first one says, “Costumes and dancing, Partner up, be wise. They could be friendly, Or a ghoul in disguise.” along with the Fortnitemares hashtag. Could this hint to a special twist in Duos mode? The second one goes, “Tombstones quake, Keep your finger steady. The circle will close, Better be ready.” We can expect to know more details as Halloween comes near.


Artifact’s Beta Has Been Delayed and Shortened

Dota 2 digital card-collecting game Artifact will be having its beta at a later date. According to those who received the beta email, the Artifact beta is now happening on November 19th. It has also been shortened to nine days. The email further added that the team has “a bit more work to do before letting everyone in.” The game will launch on PC on November 28th.


Metal Gear Survive Gets Silent Hill Crossover with Pyramid Head Costume

Metal Gear Survive is having some sort of a crossover with Silent Hill as one of the latter’s major antagonists is going to make an appearance in Survive in the form of a costume. The Pyramid Head Costume will be part of Metal Gear Survive’s Halloween event through a mission called The Research’s Story. It will run from October 23rd until November 6th. Castlevania music will also be coming to the game through cassette tapes.


Shadow of the Tomb Raider is On Sale But People Are Not Happy

Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently being review bombed on Steam after it goes on sale just merely weeks after its release. Those who bought the game early on were obviously not happy with this, as they felt they paid more while the game has so much issues like display glitches and crashes. The game started with positive reviews, and just a week after the sale started, it went down with Mixed Reviews with 196 negative reviews as of this report.


Ubisoft Terminates Online Services for Just Dance 2018 in Last-Gen Consoles

Back in 2009, Activision started Call of Duty Endowment, a non-profit program that aims to help unemployed military veterans transition to civilian careers. this year, the publisher, which is now known as Activision Blizzard, will be donating all of the proceeds from the sales of Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Call of Duty Endowment Salute Pack DLC to the charity. The pack costs $4.99 and includes a sticker, a tag, gesture, emblem, and calling card. It is available now on the Xbox Store, PlayStation Store, and Battle.Net.


Tekken 7 Has Sold 3 Million Copies

Tekken 7 has reached another milestone as the game has reportedly sold 3 million copies! Series producer Katsuhiro Harada announced this on Twitter which comes with a “Celebration illustration.” The series also now reportedly recorded more than 47 million copies in sales, Harada added. He then thanked everyone for their support.


World War 3 Early Access Launch Plagued with Tech Issues

The Farm 51’s tactical shooter World War 3 has released on Steam Early Access. The developer, however, is facing a major challenge as the game is experiencing major connection issues since it went live. One of the major problems reported was the unending loading screen. The developer has since issued a fix for the issue, and they said they will continue working on mending connection problems and other issues when they arise.


Wargroove Release Date Delayed

The upcoming turn-based tactics game from Chucklefish, Wargroove, will be released at a later date. The game will now be released in early 2019, in a still undisclosed release date. Chucklefish said in a blogpost that the delay will allow them to “provide players with a really robust package” when release day comes. The developer said they’re planning to release over 30 two-player PvP maps, over 10 three-player maps, and then at least six four-player maps.


Project Nova Gameplay Revealed

CCP Games and Sumo Digital have been a little quiet about their new first-person shooter Project Nova, which by the way is also set within the EVE Online universe. We finally have a glimpse of the game thanks to a really flashy teaser trailer courtesy of CCP. The trailer includes some gameplay actions, and word about an upcoming closed playtest that might happen later this year. The game features tactical co-op PvE and PvP modes, with a mix of mystery and strategy.


Team Fortress 2 Announced Halloween Event

Looks like Team Fortress will also be hopping on the Halloween festivities this year, as Team Fortress 2 will be staging its tenth Scream Fortress event this year. Dubbed as Scream Fortress X, the event includes five community-made maps, challenges called “Contracts,” and a bunch of new cosmetic items players can earn within the coming weeks. During the event, players can also claim a Soul Gargoyle which enables Halloween item transmutations, allows players to work through Merasmissions, and eat souls.
