The Cycle is now Available on Early Access

The Cycle from Yager Development GmnH is now available on Early Access graduating from the “Longest Playtest Ever”. The game is a PvE and PvP competitive quest shooter. With the game arriving on Early Access, they are now live twenty-four seven for all of their prospectors enjoying Fortuna 3. The game is now available to be downloaded on the Epic Games Store.


NBA 2K20 Shares New Trailer

A new NBA 2K20 trailer has arrived and it features the game’s story mode called MyCareer. We get to see basketball superstars like Idris Elba, Rosario Dawson, Thomas Middleditch, Ernie Hudson, Lamorne Morris, Maverick Carter, and Lebron James. NBA 2K20 is expected to launch on September 6, 2019, and is available to be played on the PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.


Everspace 2 Launching on September 2020

The official announcement of Everspace 2 is out with the launch date being September 2020. The sequel is a fast-paced, single-player space shooter that includes deep space exploration with RPG elements. The open-world is handcrafted and vivid and filled to the brim with secrets and perils. There will be aliens to discover, mysteries to solve, treasures to be unearthed and defend yourself from the outlaws that are trying to steal your loot.


A Day Opening Level Shared for Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers which is launching on May 15, 2020, for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia has revealed the game’s opening level called the A-Day. Here, Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor revealed their newest Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco but a catastrophic accident has happened and they were blamed for it and was forced to disband as Super Heroes has been outlawed. Marvel’s Avengers offers a cinematic story plus the action that Crystal Dynamics is known for.


Pre-Orders for Torchlight 2 Now Available for Nintendo Switch

Pre-orders for the hack’n’slash dungeon crawler Torchlight 2 is now available for Nintendo Switch and it is available for $19.99. Panic Button Games said that there will be some upgraded controls, a new user interface for each platform as well as new pets. The pets included are the Unicorn for Nintendo Switch, the Molten Imp for Xbox One, the Faerie for PlayStation 4 and the Yapper for anybody who pre-orders the game. Right now Torchlight 2 is available on the PC. Consoles will launch on September 3.


One Punch Man Game Has a Hero Arrival System

Bandai Namco has revealed one of the features of its upcoming game One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows. The game will include a “Hero Arrival System” where players will have to survive as best as they can using other playable characters. Saitama will arrive after a set amount of time, and players can shorten the time by performing combos and perfect guards. Of course, when Saitama arrives, it just takes one punch from him to defeat the opponent.


Release Date for Iron Harvest Revealed

KING Art Games and Deep Silver have revealed the release date for their real-time strategy game Iron Harvest. The game will be available starting September 1, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will have players choose one from the three factions — Polonia, Saxony Empire and Rusviet — and control diesel mechs as they try to defeat other factions. The game also features multiplayer and solo campaign.


Planet Zoo Beta Announced

Frontier has revealed at Gamescom 2019 that Planet Zoo will be hosting an early access beta from September 24th until October 8th. The beta will be available for players who pre-ordered the game’s Deluxe Edition. The early access beta will let players try the game’s new Career and Franchise modes. In addition to having beta access, those who will purchase the Deluxe Edition will get more digital content such as special animals like Komodo Dragons and more.


Path of Exile Blight Expansion to Launch September 6th

Path of Exile’s Blight expansion is set to launch on September 6th, Grinding Gear Games has announced. Players who own the game will get the Blight expansion as a free update. It will include a mini-tower defense mission in every zone, where players must stop a plague from spreading by attaching siphons to mushrooms and harvest their oil — apparently, the oils are the only cure to the fungal infection spreading in town. Players have to do this while waves of monsters are trying to stop them.


Yakuza Remastered Collection Announced

Sega announced that they are releasing a Yakuza Remastered Collection in North America and it will contain Yakuza 3, 4, and 5. The games will be updated in 1080p and 60fps for the PS4. The games in the collection will be released one at a time, with Yakuza 3 first becoming available starting August 21st. Yakuza 4 follows on October 29th, and finally Yakuza 5 on February 11, 2020.


Dead By Daylight Gets Stranger Things Crossover

Dead By Daylight will soon get another crossover. Set to launch sometime in September, the Stranger Things Chapter will bring Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington to the game as survivors, while the Demigorgon will be added as a monster. The crossover will also feature the secret underground government lab from the first season as a map. The Stranger Things Chapter is available as a separate purchase, and players need to own the base game to play it.


Destiny 2 Cross Save Details Announced

At the recent Xbox Gamescom Event, Bungie’s Game Director Ben Wommack shared some details about things to expect in Destiny 2 ahead of the Shadowkeep Expansion. The most noteworthy subject of the lot is the promised cross-save functionality that enables players to track their progress across platforms. In addition, the transition will be seamless when the New Light free-to-play version of Destiny 2 drops. Players will be able to comfortably transfer everything between systems free of cost.


DayZ Ban Lifted in Australia

DayZ has been reclassified MA15+ in Australia, which means the title is no longer banned for sale in Australia. This is certainly welcomed news for players from down under because Bohemia Interactive’s survival game will be released at retail for PS4 and Xbox One later this year as planned. DayZ was initially banned due to “illicit or proscribed drug use related to incentives or rewards,” in the game. The developer has since modified the game resulting in the ban being lifted.


New Dragon Quest Builders 2 Update Released

Square Enix has dropped a free Dragon Quest Builders 2 update which significantly extends the game’s ending. The update also provides players with much more options as well as a third storage slot for Buildertopia islands. There are a host of other tweaks and changes released that are documented in the patch notes that can be viewed on Square Enix’s official website. Dragon Quest Builders 2 is currently available for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.


New Dota Underlords Update Announced

Vale’s Dota Underlords is finally getting actual Underlords. Interestingly, the game currently doesn’t possess any characters of the sort but this will not be the case for much longer according to a Valve issued Steam Post. The post outlines many major new changes that will be making their way to the game. In addition to the Underlords, a duos mode is being added as well as new heroes and alliances. Players can also expect big UI tweaks in the not too distant future.


Planet Zoo Story Mode Showcased and Beta Date Announced

Frontier Developments has brandished Planet Zoo’s story mode ahead of its beta release that is slated for next month. Based on the bit of gameplay witnessed thus far, Planet Zoo is a story-based game centred around real-world topics like welfare and conservation. These subjects are usually heavy on the heart, especially for those who are passionate about them so the developers expressed intent to keep things lighthearted and cheerful. Planet Zoo is due out on November 5, 2019, on Steam.


Battlefront II to Recieve Enhanced Solo Player Experience

EA DICE has expressed that the next stride with regards to Star Wars Battlefront II, is to provide solo players with the huge battles they desire. According to the developer, they are adding an Instant Action Mode that functions much like it sounds. This mode essentially attempts to replicate the large-scale multiplayer battles that multiplayer players enjoy by replacing real-life opponents with AI enemies. This is to ensure solo players are not robbed of the promised grandiose spectacle.


Epic Store Exclusive Journey to the Savage Planet Release Date Announced

Typhoon Studios has announced that its action-adventure game, Journey to the Savage Planet will be making its way to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC when it releases on January 31st of next year. At heart, it is a sci-fi exploration game that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Goofy, upbeat, and colourful are words commonly used when one attempts to describe the title. Journey to the Savage Planet will be an Epic Games Store exclusive title at launch and whether it will remain as such is yet to be disclosed.


Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled Tops UK Sales Charts

Activision’s Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled persists to extend its tenure atop the UK charts. Two weeks have passed and the kart racing title has shown no signs of surrendering its post at the helm. The entire chart appears to be frozen as most of the top titles maintain their positions. Behind Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is Super Mario Maker 2, then Mario Kart 8 Deluxe followed by Grand Theft Auto V and then there is F1 2019 to round out the top 5 list for most sales of August 2019.


Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC Pack 1 Release Date Announced

Nintendo published a tweet via Nintendo of America’s official Twitter account, stating that Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 DLC Pack 1 will be released on September 30, 2019. The expansion pack is called Marvel Knights and features four new playable characters: Blade, Moon Knight, Morbius, and Punisher. The DLC also comes with a new Gauntlet mode bearing an intense series of co-op missions. In addition, Expansion Pass owners will get an alternative-colour chef outfit for Deadpool.


FIFA 20 Bundesliga tie-in Detailed

EA has announced a full Bundesliga tie-in for FIFA 20. In doing so, the developers have added well over 180 player faces and 13 new stadiums to the game. The two leagues cover 36 clubs in total, some of which had players who were not represented accurately or at all in previous instalments. EA is yet to release a full list of new player scans but fans and previously misrepresented players will be undoubtedly pleased. FIFA 20 is due out on September 24, 2019, for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4 and PC.


PES 2020 to Receive Official Euro 2020 DLC

Konami’s PES 2020 is poised to receive an official Euro 2020 DLC during the second quarter of next year. According to the developer, there will be Over 50 national teams in the game at launch. This list includes current champions Portugal, with their official kits, crests and players. Just recently, the developer announced that it had acquired a genuine exclusive official licence for Juventus which is ideal timing considering its release date of September 10 is just around the corner.
