SEPTEMBER 20 PART 1

Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales Confrimed as a Standalone Game

CD Projekt Red has something new for The Witcher series and it is the Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales. This will be a stand-alone game that is available for PC starting on October 23rd and will only be accessible through GOG. The new game is about the Queen Meve who rules over Lyria and Rivia. She is then forced to go into war because of the Nilfgaardian invasion. Thronebreaker offers a narrative-driven game that includes puzzle solving as well as some card battle mechanics.


Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Update 16 Live Now

Ghost Recon Wildlands Title Update 16 called Operations & Maintenance is now available and it has with it an update for the Ghost Recon Wildlands Year 2 Season Pass. It includes some quality of life improvements, an item pack, and a free update that adds the new Mood Matchmaking feature. Kingdom Hearts 3 Introduces World of San Fransokyo anf Big Hero 6 Cast

Remember San Fransokyo from Big Hero 6? It is coming to Kingdom Hearts 3! A new trailer that has been shared by Square Enix features both the area as well as the characters of the film Big Hero 6. This includes Hiro Hamada – Honey Lemon, Go Go Tomago, Wasabi No-Ginger, Fred and Baymax. They will be joining Sora, Donald and Goofy across their adventures in Kingdom Hearts 3. Sora’s new Gummiephone had been featured as well. Kingdom Hearts 3 launches on January 29, 2019, for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Raphael Joins SoulCalibur 6 Roster

The rapier-wileding French nobleman Raphael is making his return in the SoulCalibur series, and will be joining the SoulCalibur 6 roster! He first made his appearance in SoulCalibur 2 and he has been making appearances in subsequent releases. He will be joined by Cervantes who was also recently revealed. The addition of both Raphael and Cervantes increases the character count to 20. Soulcalibur 6 is coming to PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One on October 19th.


GOG is Giving Away Four PC Games Right Now

Four PC games are being given away for free by GOG! The games are shooting classics from the 1990s. It includes Tyrian 2000 which is a space shooting game. The next one is Shadow Warrior, a first-person shooting game from the makers of Duke Nukem 3D. The third one is Stargunner which is a side scrolling space shooter and the last one is Bio Menace which is an action platformer. We are not sure until when these games will be available for free but since it is free right now, go ahead and download it.


NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 Release Date Revealed

2K Games has announced that NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be released on October 16th and will be available for PC and consoles. This two-on-two arcade basketball game had an initial release date of May 22nd, but was delayed. The game also got a title change from the original NBA Playgrounds 2 to NBA 2K Playgrounds 2. There will be more than 300 players that will be available at launch, while 200 more will follow after the game is released.


Rainbow Six Siege Patch Adds Stricter Penalties for Team Kill

Stricter penalties are being added for team killings in Rainbow Six Siege. The tougher penalties will come with the Season 3.1 patch. Previously, team killings will just get you kicked off the match, with the new update the first offense will have the offender banned for 30 minutes, the second offense will be 1 hour, the third offense will be 2 hours, fourth offense will be 24 hours and the fifth offense will be 7 days. Aside from the penalties the new update will also come with some bug fixes.


One Piece: World Seeker Shows New Characters in New Trailer

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for its open-world action-adventure One Piece: World Seeker. The trailer gives us a glimpse of Jewel Island as well as the giant prison within its borders. We also get to meet the warden, Isaac. The trailer also introduces Jeanne, the leader of the Anti-Navy Faction, one of the factions that are struggling for control of the island. The game has been delayed for next year, and will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.


Transference Out Now

Transference, a game that was created by Ubisoft in collaboration with Elija Wood and Spectrevision has launched! The game offers a first-person gameplay exploring a “corrupted mind”. The game is a psychological horror that is playable in virtual reality that gives it that extra punch for those really scary parts. If you are not into VR, the game is also available to play on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For VR, Transference is available on PlayStation VR, HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.


Fishing Sim World Has Launched

If you’re up for some fishing, then this one’s for you! Dovetail Games has released their fishing simulation game Fishing Sim World, and is now available for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game lets players travel around the US and Europe and fish in lakes either in solo play, or in co-op with a friend. It features accurate fish AI as well as fully licensed equipment featuring a lot of rods, reels, and lures. There’s also a leaderboard for players who want to vie for “Angler of the Month.”


INSOMNIA: The Ark FeaturesTense Sci-fi Drama in Launch Trailer

INSOMNIA: The Ark released its launch trailer and it features the game’s tense sci-fi drama. It shows the lives of the last living humans fighting for their survival on board the huge city called Object 6 found in the deepest depths of space. You will get to see the poor living conditions and the violent outbreaks that the inhabitants constantly encounter. Poverty, disease, and chaos can be seen everywhere and you must survive all of this! Insomnia: The Ark will launch on September 27th.


SEPTEMBER 20 PART 2

Ring of Elysium Available Now on Steam Early Access

Tencent Games and Garena’s free-to-play multiplayer online battle royale Ring of Elysium is now available on Steam Early Access. Players are forced to play in a virtual reality system called ELYSIUM. When they die in the simulated world, they will die in the real world as well. The experiments are done by the mysterious company called EUROPA, and the so-called players are actually kidnaped victims. The experiment is done to test the human development through the realistic simulations.


Red Dead Online Beta Announced

Rockstar Games has announced Red Dead Online, the multiplayer mode for Red Dead Redemption 2. A beta, which is slated to happen in November, is also announced. Rockstar did not provide any specifics about the beta, but what we know is that it will be based on the multiplayer mode of the original Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead Online will feature competitive, narrative, and coop gameplay much like GTA Online. Red Dead Redemption 2 releases October 26th for PS4 and Xbox One


Dark Souls Remastered Network Test Coming Soon

The Dark Souls Remastered network test for the Nintendo Switch has been announced by Bandai Namco and it will come in three periods starting on September 21st. In order to participate those who are interested must have a Switch Online subscription. The network test will be available for North and South America, Japan and Europe. Those participating will get to play through Dark Souls’ Undead Parish. The European leg of the test will be on September 21st through the 23rd at 17:00 UTC to 21:00 UTC.


Fortnite’s Purple Cube Turns Loot Lake Into a Purple Bounce Field

Fortnite’s mysterious purple cube has constantly been on the move for the entirety of season 5, and now it looks like it reached it final destination: Loot Lake. The cube fell into the lake and later dissolved which turned the lake into a giant purple bounce field. This happened a week before Season 5 comes to a close on September 25th. Fortnite Season 6 is expected to begin right after on September 26th.


PUBG Might Be Heading to the PS4

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds may no longer be an exclusive game for the Xbox One console as a foreign ratings board site implies that the game will be coming to the PlayStation 4. This had been seen in the South Korean Game Rating and Administration Committee that posted PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds next to PlayStation 4. No other information was given about this but Bluehole did say that they wanted the launch the game in every platform and Microsoft noted that the game is a timed exclusive only.


New PUBG Xbox One Update Finally Adds BP Exchange

PUBG on Xbox One has received a new hotfix update which finally adds BP exchange to the game, among other additions. There is a slight catch on this, though. At this time, you can only exchange weapon skins for BP. If you have an existing skin that you no longer want, you can simply press Y while hovering over the item so it will be transformed into BP. You can then use the BP you received for purchasing other items to customize your character. The full patch notes can be found in PUBG’s website.


Destiny 2’s Gambit Mode Goes Free Again

Destiny 2’s PvP and PvE mishmash Gambit is getting another trial for players who missed it during its first trial run. All Destiny 2 players will be able to hop in on the trial starting Friday, September 21st until Sunday, September 23rd at 10AM Pacific Time. You don’t need to own the Destiny 2 Forsaken expansion in order to join the Gambit trial. Gambit lets two teams compete to kill enemies, bank dropped items, then summon new enemies for the other team. They will then race to spawn and kill a boss.


Android 17 Joins Dragon Ball FighterZ Roster

According to Bandai Namco, the next fighter for Dragon Ball FighterZ is Android 17! The Android 17 that the game will be getting is the incarnation of the Dragon Ball Super version which has three super special attacks. Android 17 will have a Barrier Explosion dash attack, the End Game combo attack, and the Super Electric Strike energy attack. He will come with a new stage called the Space Arena as well as a general upgrade for the game. Android 17 will be arriving on September 17th and will cost $5.


Hearthstone to Add New Classic Cards

Hearthstone is getting a new update, and it is set to bring new Classic cards to the game. If you’re a new player, you’ll see a set of 25 Newbie Ranks from 50 down to 26. Players will slowly climb down these ranks then they’ll enter the standard ranked match ladder. Once players climb the ranks, there’s no going down. In other news, the game’s long-awaited Tournament mode has been postponed.


Ace Combat 7 Season Pass, Deluxe Edition, Pre-order Bonuses Revealed

Bandai Namco has revealed what players can expect from the Season Pass for Ace Combat 7. It includes 3 planes, 3 stages and a music player. Each of these can be bought individually as well. A Deluxe Edition will also be made available. It will combine the base game, the Season Pass, plus extras in the form of emblems. Those who pre-order a console version will also get a digital copy of an older game in the series, with PS4 players getting Ace Combat 5 and Xbox One players getting Ace Combat 6.


Rocket League Player Count Now Over 50 Million

Rocket League has just hit a very impressive milestone. Psyonix has announced that the game has hit over 50 million players worldwide. This number represents players across all platforms, with 10 million joining in just this year. The game got a considerable boost with its free launch for Playstation Plus subscribers and its recent arrival on the Nintendo Switch. The game also enjoys peak concurrent users of over 50,000 players every month for the past 2 years on Steam. AllKeyShop Rewards Program
