New Version of Skyrim’s 3D Trees and Plants Mod Now Available

A new version of the Skyrim 3D Trees and Plants mod has been shared by modder ‘mathy79’ and this makes the game’s forests come alive with more than 200 High-Quality 3D replacer models of trees and plants that includes high-quality sharp lightweight texturing. What’s great about this is that it re-exports 22 diffuse textures in dxt1 which reduces the overall VRAM usage. The new version also includes various improvements to textures and so much more. Cyberpunk 2077 May Be Released in 2019, Turkish Publisher Bilkom Claims

Turkish publisher Bilkom has appeared to have leaked the year when Cyberpunk 2077 will possibly be released. In a tweet, the publisher said that it will be released in 2019 in Turkey. The company appears to be the official distributor forf Cyberpunk 2077 as it also was the official distributor for The Witcher 3. Cd Projekt Red is yet to comment on this. As of this report, we still don’t have information on when it will officially release.


FIFA 19 Takes Top Spot in UK Sales Charts

FIFA 19 was able to reach the top spot of the UK sales charts. The launch of the game means that Spider-Man is now in second place and that Shadow of the Tomb Raider is now in third place. Although FIFA 19 was not able to sell very well during its first week but sales were able to pick up since then. The bulk of the game’s sales are for PlayStation 4 which amounts to 64%, the Xbox One sales are at 35% and the Nintendo Switch sales are just 1%. The numbers, however, doesn’t account for the digital sales of the game.


Blackout Won’t Get a Hardcore Mode

Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s battle royale mode, Blackout will not have a Hardcore mode. This was confirmed by the design director of Treyarch David Vonderhaar. He further clarifies thought that the game will still have the Hardcore mode but it will not be available in the battle royale mode. The Hardcore mode has been a part of the Call of Duty franchise ever since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 and it has been with the game ever since. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will launch on October 12th.


170+ Games Removed From Steam in Recent Weeks

More than 170 games have been removed from Steam in the recent weeks. Back in early September, Valve wrote in their blog that they are coming after games that are obviously the work of trolls. Valve calls these games as “game shaped objects” which means that these games exist either to scam people, or make a small amount of money off Steam through schemes. Some of these games have ridiculous titles such as Bitcoin highway, or are Achievement Hunter games, or contain the word “hentai” in the title.


Minecraft Gets Village and Pillage Update

Mojang announced the next update for Minecraft and it is called the Village and Pillage update. This new update will introduce an unfriendly group of characters called Pillagers. Players would need to defend their villages from these attackers. There will also be eleven additional Villagers that will be added to the game which are the Librarian, Butcher, Cleric Cartographer, Leatherworker, Fletcher, Shepherd, Farmer, Fisher, Armorer, Toolsmith, and Weaponsmith. This new update will come in 2019.


Crackdown 3 is “Making Good Progress” Says Xbox Boss

Xbox boss Phil Spencer gave us an insight on how the upcoming game Crackdown 3 is doing. In a response to a tweet, Spencer said that the third-world shooter is making “good progress.” He added that he recently just played the game’s full build, and that the team did some nice work, but have some more work to do. The game is set for release on February 29, 2019 and will be available for PC and Xbox One.


Cyberpunk 2077 is Not Made for VR Devices

A theory has been floating around suggesting that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on VR devices. However, this theory was shut down by the studio CD Projekt Red by saying, “currently we have no plans” via Twitter. The first-person perspective of the game had been a controversial one among the game’s fans. The developers are actually sticking to their decision and saying that this is necessary to keep the HUD uncluttered. Cyberpunk 2077 will launches for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.


Limit Theory Development Halted After 6 Years

After being in development for 6 years, Limit Theory, a supposed large-scale space sandbox game, is calling it quits. The one-person development team, Josh Parnell announced that he is saying goodbye to the game he started. The crowdfunded funds, as well as, some personal investments had been used up. Parnell sites that the reason behind the halt is that he wanted to care for his own mental and physical health. He also says that he underestimated what comes in a game of such a large scale.


EA Discloses FIFA 19 Pack Odds

FIFA 19 has released, and EA also disclosed the pack odds of the game. Along with the release of the game is also the release of FUT’s first promotion: Ones to Watch. This pack has 23 new live items of the highest profile as well as the most promising transfers from all over the world. This pack is sought after because it is dynamic, but it is sad to know that players can only get it for less than 1% of the time. The Ones to Watch pack may include special version of Cristiano Ronaldo, and Riyad Mahrez.


PlayStation Awards 2019 to Take Place This December

The PlayStation Awards will happen on December 3rd at the Grand Prince Hotel New Tanakawa in Tokyo and will be broadcasted live on YouTube. Games that were able to sell half a million copies will get a gold prize and those who sold over a million will have a platinum prize. The three best-selling PSN games will get a PlayStation Network Prize and a User’s Choice Award will be given for the game with the most votes. Other categories are also available like the Best Indie and Best PlayStation VR Games.

Rockstar Brings Back Sumo Mode on GTA Online

Rockstar Games is bringing back the year two adversary mode Sumo to GTA Online and comes with a few updates. Dubbed as Sumo Remix, the mode has custom stunt arenas that have a constantly changing and shrinking safe zone. Players will need to get themselves into the safe zone every 30 seconds. Each safe zone gets smaller each time so players will have to fight aggressively to ensure a spot. Some parts of the map will also disappear at some point during a match so one has to exercise caution.


Minecraft Has Over 90 Million Active Monthly Players

Minecraft is a huge game with over 91 million monthly active players. To compare, Fortnite’s active players for August is 78.3 million. And because of this number Helen Chiang, a boss at Microsoft said that it would not make any sense to create a sequel for Minecraft as it would “fracture” the Minecraft community. Although a sequel won’t be available, there are lots of free updates to keep the community happy. A Minecraft Dungeons has also been announced to arrive by 2019 with a different mechanic.


Disco Domination Comes to Fortnite

Fortnite has disco fever with its new limited-time mode! The new LTM is called Disco Domination and it combines King of the Kill with dancing. In Disco Domination, players will need to take over disco stages and dance to their hearts’ content. Epic is yet to give out more specific details on Disco Domination, and we can expect them to release it as the next content pack for Season 6 goes live.

Devolver Digital has announced its newest game, and it lets players build their won weed empire. The game is titled Weedcraft Inc. and it’s planned for a 2019 release. The game will task players into cultivating their own weed empire by growing different strains of bud, distributing it, and ultimately trying to change the country’s perception of the plant. Part of its gameplay is managing your Decent or Shady meters in order to unlock new perks. The police may also become involved at some point in the game.


Ubisoft Looking at Multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft is looking at the possibility of bringing back multiplayer to Assassin’s Creed. The last time the franchise included a multiplayer mode was in Assassin’s Creed Unity back in 2014. Ubisoft chief creative officer Serge Hascoet said in an interview with Game Informer that multiplayer is an important social aspect in gaming, so they’re looking into that. He added that they’re testing different ideas internally, and that they don’t want to simply just copy what popular battle royale games like Fortnite are doing.


Fortnite’s Floating Island Now Leaving Weird Craters

More strange things seem to be happening in Fortnite as the Season 6 is starting. This time, the purple cube is on the move again and it seems that the floating island is retracing the same path it took as a cube, before becoming into the floating island. The path that it is taking looks like it is coming back to the locations where the runes had been and creating huge craters beneath it. The craters don’t seem to harm any players and those who try to jump in just simply bounces back out.


The Division 2 Gets New Weapon Class

A new weapon type is coming to The Division 2 and that is the rifles type. This new category will include the assault rifles, marksman rifles, and the semi-automatic or burst fire rifles. This move was announced to be mainly for balance changes so that the three rifles classes can be balanced on their own scale so that each one would be unique. Other new changes can be expected in The Division 2 like the exotics and grenade system. The Division 2 will launch on March 15, 2019, for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Halloween Terror Returns to Overwatch With a Riddle

The Halloween Terror is making a comeback to Overwatch and this will be its third year. We don’t have the exact details about it though as Blizzard is keeping it under wraps. However, they did provide a riddle as a clue as to what it is. The riddle read as “There’s a rumor among explorers, About a monolithic lair, Home to terrifying horrors, Heroes, how will you prepare?” Each year Halloween Terror offers new Legendary skins that will dress your favorite Overwatch characters in Halloween costumes.


Red Dead Redemption 2 Has a New Deadeye System

Red Dead Redemption 2 will come with a new Deadeye system. It comes with additional whistles and bells for outlaws that are out to cause some trouble. The new Deadeye system progresses in stages and also lets you a few different kinds of functions. You can use this to slow down time so you can aim your shots carefully, and even paint targets to automatically squeeze off shots. It also features and X-ray effect where players can see enemies’ critical and weak points. Red Dead Redemption will be released October 26th.


World of Warplanes Expands Its Fleet With New Aircraft

Two new planes have been added to World of Warplanes, one each for the Japanese and American forces. The US forces get the Bell PN-39N-1 Airacobra which is equipped with four 7.62mm machine guns, two 12.7mm machine guns, and a 37mm autocannon. It is built for swift strikes that are hard to recover from. On the Japanese side is the Tachikawa Ki-94-I which is known for its speed and performance. It is armed with bombs and has outstanding firepower – perfect for hit-and-ru missions. Both of these are now live.
