Pizza Skin Added to Halo 5

A pizza skin is coming to Halo 5 as confirmed by developer 343 Industries. This skin is for Halo 5: Guardians players and it is called the Pizza Party Req pack. It will have a weapon skin that is pepperoni pizza-themed as well as a Hot Pie banner. This idea came about when the studio teased the Halo: The Master Chief Collection by referencing it with pepperoni pizza and excited fans sent the 343 office so much pizza that they had to ask them to stop. The pizza skin looks amazing for pizza lovers out there.


The Sims 4 Won’t Be Supporting 32-Bit PCs Anymore

EA made the announcement that their game The Sims 4 will no longer support 32-bit PCs as well as the Mac OS machines by June of this year. But players will still be able to play the game all thanks to the Legacy Edition. This edition will support the game for the older machines. It will transfer saved game files but won’t be able to get future updates and bug fixes. There will no longer be support for packs that released after February 26. Also, there is no tentative date for the Legacy Edition right now.


New Sonic Game Currently in Development

Announced during the SXSW Sonic panel, Takashi Iizuka confirmed that a new Sonic game has “begun production”. Nothing is concrete right now, we will get to see more about this by next year. Also, during the panel, the new trailer for Team Sonic Racing has been shared. The game will be launching on May 21st this year for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch. The trailer shared a few glimpses of the game’s customizations where players are able to tweak almost everything.


The Division 2 Underwent Maintenance Over the Weekend Due to Bugs

An unscheduled maintenance occurred in The Division 2 which allowed the developers to make fixes for the game. Massive said that they wanted to address the crashes that occur when the Assault Drone is being used by agents in a group. So far, the bug fixes include the reduction of the occurrences of client crashes when using skills, also the fix was made for when the map progress could not be saved when completing and so much more. Halo Insiders Sign Ups Now Open

The Halo Insider program is coming to PC and if you sign up for it you will get the chance to exclusively play in “public flights of in-progress Halo game releases” as well as give feedback to the developers. The Halo Insider program was previously launched for consoles in order for players to give feedback to the developers as well as have access to some early access “flights”. The PC version will be coming, however, 343 Industries was not able to give a specific release date for it yet.


Tactical Tomb-Raiding Game Pathway Announced

A new game from Chucklefish has been announced and it is called Pathway! The game is a turn-based RPG which kind of feels like Indiana Jones that looks like Wargrove in all its 16-bit glory. The game comes with five campaign adventures with lots of combat and exploration. It also comes with some random story encounters, great dialogue choices, and procedurally generated maps. A 10-minute gameplay has also been shared for the game. Pathway is set to launch sometime this year.


Cyberpunk Adventure Game Tales of the Neon Sea Release Date Revealed

Indie game developer Palm Pioneer revealed the release date for its visually stunning cyberpunk point-and-click detective adventure Tales of the Neon Sea. The game is set to launch on April 30th, and will be available for PC via Steam. Tales of the Neon Sea will let players solve puzzles in a cyberpunk city where humans and robots don’t trust each other. The game has ton’s of oriental elements in it, paired with other elements that could create an “interesting and unique experience.”


City Builder Islanders Announced, to Launch Next Month

If you’re a fan of city-building games, here’s a new one coming for you! Islanders, a minimalist strategy game that lets you build cities on visually stunning islands, is set to launch for PC via Steam on April 4th. The game features procedurally generated islands, and every building you place on it rewards you with points. You can then use the points you gathered for buying other buildings and refilling your inventory. In this game, beating your high score is your objective.


Pyre Heads to Origin Access

Supergiant’s Pyre is one of the newest games to join EA’s Origin Access Vault. It will be joining Chaos on Deponia, Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2, and Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast. This means all three games are fully available to anyone who is subscribed to the service. Those who are subscribed to Origin Access will also get a 10-hour trial of new games such as Anthem and They Are Billions. Basic subscription is at 5 Dollars per month.


Apex Legends Cheaters Receiving Perma Bans on Their Hardware

Respawn is really going after cheaters, as those who got banned for cheating in Apex Legends have begun to air their frustrations on Reddit. Apparently Respawn has started permanently banning players’ hardware. This means players can no longer play Apex Legends using the banned PC. This is also true for those who created multiple accounts using the same hardware. This move by Respawn has been frustrating players as they have not found a workaround for this new ban system at the moment.


Fate/Grand Order Revenue Sales Hit 3 Billion

While Sony did put out quite a few top-selling games, including the blockbuster hits God of War and Marvel’s Spider-Man, you might be surprised to find out that one of the highest grossing games for the company is actually a mobile game. Fate/Grand Order, a mobile gacha game based from the Fate/Stay series, has just reached three billion dollars in revenue sales according to Sensor Tower’s Store Intelligence Center. What’s even more impressive is that it’s just a free-to-play title.


Team Sonic Racing Customization and Bingo Party Map Theme Highlighted in Trailer

Sumo Digital has released new trailers and screenshots for their new kart racing game, Team Sonic Racing. The trailers come as part of the first full episode of Team Sonic Racing Overdrive which is a two-part series developed by Tyson Hesse and Neko Productions. Producer Takashi Iizuka highlighted some unique customization features that enable players to personalize their rides. Sonic Series Composer, Jun Senoue showed off the game’s new Bingo Party map complimented by Japanese electronic music


Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Features Multiplayer Mode and More in Gameplay Trailer

During the Daimaruyuu City Development 30 Anniversary eSport Festival, D3 Publisher showcased some new gameplay footage of Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain. In the video presented, viewers witnessed the initial stages of the single-player campaign then they were introduced to the character customization options shortly thereafter. A multiplayer mode named Mercenaries was also illuminated by the spotlight. Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain drops for PS4 on April 11, 2019.


Resident Evil 2 Remake Mod Brings Metal Gear Solid’s Snake to the Game

A Modder by the name of SirLumberjackie has released a new mod for Resident Evil 2 Remake which includes Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid. Since the launch of the remake of the post-apocalyptic survival game, modders have had their creative juices flowing with ideas and this is the latest representation of their creativity. To put it simply, Leon’s character model was substituted for the Metal Gear Solid protagonist. This mod is currently playable and available for download.


Rumor Points to Blood Remaster Launching in April

Samuel Villarreal posted a tweet sharing that Blood Remaster will be coming in April of this year but deleted the tweet shortly thereafter. His rationale for removing the tweet is yet to be divulged but the tweet was recovered and re-posted by twitter user Wario64. For those who don’t know, Blood is a First-Person Shooter that helped etch the blueprint for the genre. This game introduced many elements now regarded as compulsory for any game within said genre.


Shadow Blade Heading to the Switch This Month

Dead Mage has announced that the action-platformer Shadow Blade, is coming to Nintendo Switch on March 30 of this year. The developer is inviting you to become one with a world where the ancient teachings of ninjas and samurai lock horns upon a modern landscape. Get ready to enjoy the epic ninja platforming and vicious ninja combat the title promotes. As protagonist Kuro, you must dart through stages coated in traps and purge it of all your lethal foes absent hesitation.


Riot Games Resets League of Legends’ Mid-Season and Scraps Position Ranks

Riot Games has officially scrapped League of Legends’ position ranks. It was known that it was an experiment but players didn’t expect it to be removed mid-season. Riot’s rationale for removing this well-anticipated change is that there were quite a few problems that spawned as a result of its implementation. It was a valiant effort as there were many positives associated however, the change was not without flaws. A reformed version should do the trick.


Resident Evil 2 Sold More Steam Copies Than Resident Evil 7

Capcom’s Resident Evil 2 remake has been enormously successful, and outselling Resident Evil 7 is a testament to that fact. Thus far it is being regarded as one of the best games of the year and should it continue to sell this well that statement will remain uncontested. It has been two years since Resident Evil 7’s release yet it has failed to hit the million sales mark, while the Resident Evil 2 remake is well on its way to 2 million after just two months.


Tactical Breach Wizards Launches on Steam

Tom Francis is currently developing a new turn-based tactical game named Tactical Breach Wizards and it is available on Steam. In presenting the game Francis released a very detailed and elaborate video in which he divulged a sea of information, from character lore to gameplay mechanics. He also shared what he envisions the game to be, what it won’t be, and how it is meant to be perceived. The developer also maintains that Tactical Breach Wizards is a story-based game and will be developed accordingly.


The Division 2’s Physical Launch Sales is Just 20% of the Original Game

The Division 2 has sold significantly less physical copies during its launch week than the series’ original iteration back in 2016. There are a few points that can be raised in the sequel’s defense but said points cannot explain the title doing 80% worse than its predecessor. In any case, The Division 2 has sold more boxed copies than any other game last week. The game had up to 60 percent of its physical copies sold on PlayStation 4, with 40 percent on Xbox One.


Modern Warfare 4 Will Not Have Battle Royale or Specialists According to Reports

According to Gaming Intel’s sources, Modern Warfare 4 will not have Specialists, or a Battle Royale mode. This serves as a mild disappointment for the 2.5% of players who were awarded an ultra-rare achievement to play all of the Specialist tutorials in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. It is not surprising considering the hassle required to implement said features in Treyarch’s shooter. A bit of a bummer but the bulk of the community was not particularly enthused about the mode anyway.


Dataminers Dig Up Details on The Division 2’s First Raid

The Division 2 dataminers have uncovered some interesting details about the first raid. These details came by word of Kevindavid40. They posted the results of their datamine on Reddit after unearthing details regarding the location of the raid and some of the objectives groups of agents are required to complete.
