No Man’s Sky Mod Disables Auto-Aim for More Challenging Combat

A new mod for No Man’s Sky has been released courtesy of modder ‘trevix. The mod completely removes the game’s auto-aim function which will give players a more challenging gameplay experience. Modder trevix boasts that without the auto-aim, combat will now be more fun and engaging, especially when in space. On foot, combat will feel more like an FPS or a third-person shooter. This mod is compatible with No Man’s Sky’s version 1.59, and you can download it from Nexusmods.


Fallout 4: New Vegas Mod Releases Gameplay Footage

A new video that shows the first 10 minutes of gameplay of Fallout 4: New Vegas mod has been revealed. This is actually the remake of Obsidian’s Fallout New Vegas game in Fallout 4 and is a total conversion. The video shares the implementation of the different legacy systems that had been returned to the Fallout 4 engine as well as the promised high standard voice acting. For right now there is no specific release date for the game. However, when we get to know more we will definitely keep you posted.

New Horror Game Infliction Announced, Demo Available

The new horror game called Infliction is coming to us next month but before that, a playable demo is available right now. The game is inspired by the canceled Silent Hills P.T. In Infliction, players will be going through the happy memories of a family through letters and journals and voicemails. Players would have to piece together the clues in order to understand the violent events that has happened to the family. The game will have two difficulty options and is run on the Unreal Engine.


Forza Horizon 3 Worldwide Player Count Reaches More Than 10 Million

Forza Horizon 3 has reached a great feat by surpassing 10 million players worldwide. Ralph Fulton explained that they were able to learn a lot from the large number of players in order to better their product. They were able to understand the player types and styles which has shaped the analysis for Forza Horizon 4. The next iteration will feature over 450 cars and will have cross-play between Xbox One and Windows 10 plus a simplified chat system. The game will release on October 2nd.


Dota 2 Ranked Roles Queue Added for Dota Plus Subscribers

The subscription-based service called Dota Plus will be getting the fan favorite Ranked Roles matchmaking queue from The International 2018. Here, players are able to pick a role before starting a match, then the matchmaker will bring together 5 players so that each team will have two support players, one off lane, one mid lane and one safe lane. This ensures a balanced and structured game and you can actually count on your teammates to do their jobs. No news yet if this will be a permanent addition.


Spider-Man May Outsell God of War’s Lifetime Sales in the UK

At this rate, Marvel’s Spider-Man could outsell the God of War Sales in the UK. Marvel’s Spider-Man launched 2 weeks ago and it has already sold 2 times the debut week of God of War. The game is also the fastest selling game since Far Cry 5 that launched this year. The list however only includes physical sales and not the digital sales of the game. Right now the top 10 selling games in the UK for the week are Spider-Man at the top spot with Shadow of the Tomb Raider at second spot and NBA 2K19 at third place.


Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Pre-Load Available Now

If you are one of those who already pre-ordered Assassin’s Creed Odyssey then you can pre-load the game right now before the game’s official launch on October 5th. The pre-load will only include the game and not the usual day 1 update. So, with that being said, the game on the Xbox One is roughly 45 GB for the preload excluding the day 1 update. The PlayStation 4 may have a similar size pre-load. The game will include 2 major story content plus a remaster of Assassin’s Creed 3 and Liberation.


FIFA 19 FUT Web App Launch Date Announced

EA Sports has confirmed the release date of the FUT Web App for FIFA 19. The FIFA 19 FUT Web App will help players keep track of their FIFA Ultimate Team, and even control them like how they would in the full game through their PC, mobile, or tablet. The app will be released on Wednesday, September 19th. Unfortunately, players won’t be able to play the game using the web app. FIFA 19 will officially launch on September 28th.


Beat Hazard 2 Gets Ready for Early Access Release

Beat Hazard 2 will be coming to Early Access this October. Remember Beat Hazard, that flashy shooter that uses your own music in the game that released around four years ago? Well, it is getting a part 2! The game will come with its own soundtrack but you can still input your music for the game to generate enemy progression. What’s special this time around is that it will have an Open Mic mode that will allow you to get audio from anything that is running on your PC like Spotify or YouTube.


Batman: The Enemy Within is Heading to Switch Next Month

Telltale Games announced through Twitter that their game Batman: The Enemy Within will be heading to the Nintendo Switch. The game will be available starting Tuesday, October 2nd on the Nintendo eShop in North America and Europe. Batman: The Enemy Within is an episodic story which follows Bruce Wayne/Batman as he battles is out with The Riddler and other foes in Gotham. It is also currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.


Turn-Based Old-School RPG Encased Opens Kickstarter Campaign

Developer Dark Crystal Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for their old-school turn-based RPG Encased. The Petersburg-based studio is seeking to raise 86,000 Euros. The studio is looking at releasing the game on Q1 of 2019, according to its Steam page. Encased has a sci-fi post-apocalyptic setting, a turn-based combat system, one protagonist with companions, a story campaign of more than 30 hours, and much more.

Sea of Thieves’ Expansion Delayed

Forsaken Shores, the next free expansion for Sea of Thieves, won’t be releasing on its original release date. Rare announced through a blog post that the Forsaken Shores expansion will instead be releasing on September 27th – a week later than the previously announced release date which is September 19th. Rare did not specify the reason fo the delay, but their blog post mentions that the extra time will help them deliver a “stable, polished, and bug-free experience.”


New Gundam Breaker Coming to PC

New Gundam Breaker had quite a disastrous launch earlier this year, and many thought that Bandai Namco canceled the game’s PC port. But it looks like this is not the case as Bandai Namco confirmed that the game is still up for release and will be launching September 24th on PC. It will include all the updates that its PS4 version currently has plus some extra content. It will also come with two new stages for online play when it launches.


Destiny 2’s Iron Banner Event Returns With Some Changes

Iron Banner is making its comeback on Destiny 2! The multiplayer mode will September 18th at 10 AM PDT / 1 PM ET / 6 PM BST, then resets with new challenges and rewards on September 25th. There are also a few changes coming this time. The biggest change is that Power level now matters, so this means players will have to equip their most powerful weapons and gear. New Item Heading to Fortnite Ahead of Start of Season 6

The News section in Fortnite’s website has revealed the new item coming to the game, which we assume will be launching along with Season 6, or most probably as part of this week’s update. The item is called Port-a-Fortress, and it bears the description: “Toss down the Port-a-Fortress and take defense to new heights.” Its name sounds like the portable item Port-a-Fort which spawns a fort in a few seconds after being thrown. Fortnite Season 5 will be wrapping up on September 25th.


Nintendo Switch Online Launches With 20 NES Games

Nintendo Switch Online is set to launch September 18th in the US and September 19th in the UK, and the service will include a few perks, such as free access to classic NES games. Nintendo Switch Online will be launching with 20 NES titles, and eight more will come before the year ends. Some of the NES titles included are: Super Mario Bros., Yoshi, Donkey Kong, and Mario Bros. The additional NES games will be added through regular updates.


Rockstar Showcases Red Dead Redemption 2 Locations

Rockstar Games has highlighted some of the notable locations in Red Dead Redemption 2 in a new promotional post in the company’s website. Some of the locations highlighted were: the swamplands of Lemoyne, West Elizabeth with its thick forests, and the snow-covered peaks of Ambarino. Rockstar included screenshots of these locations, and you can go and take a look at all of them in Rockstar Games’ website.


Praey for the Gods Gameplay Revealed

Praey of the Gods faced a legal challenge last year when Bethesda forced developer No Matter Studios to drop “Prey” from its name. But it looks like everything is all set as it was recently showcased at this year’s PAX West. Some are saying that it resembles Shadow of the Colossus, however, what makes it different is that it involves survival elements. Players would need to manage their stamina to keep themselves from getting exhausted, as the protagonist is trapped in a snow-covered island. Praey of the Gods is set to launch this year.


More Darkstalker Costumes Heading to Street Fighter 5

Darkstalkers items are heading to Street Fighter 5 again! Aside from the costumes that were added earlier this year, there will be three more that will be coming to the game. The three new Darksiders costumes are for Chun Li as Morrigan, Ed as Demitri, and then Menat as Felicia. The Darksiders costume bundle for Street Fighter 5 is set to launch September 26th and will cost $14.99 or individually at $3.99.


Blackout Beta Extended, Increased to 100 Players

Treyarch extended the Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Blackout beta to 12:00 PM, Pacific Time on September 17th. The studio also increased the player count to 100 – up from the previous 88. As the beta ends, Treyarch is preparing to gather player feedback in order to make the game better. Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be officially launching for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One on October 12th.


Tetris Effect Gets November Release Date

Legendary designer Tetsuya Mizuguchi’s Tetris Effect is heading to the Playstation 4 on November 9th! The game made its debut at this year’s E3, and it features over 30 stages that each have their own music, sounds, 3D backgrounds, and visualizations. It also includes various difficulty options and play modes. Some of the modes included are brand new, while some modes like Marathon, Sprint, and Ultra return from previous Tetris games


South Park: The Stick of Truth Reveals Switch Release Date

South Park: The Stick of Truth is heading to the Nintendo Switch, and we finally have an official release date for its debut on the handheld. The game will be released on Tuesday, September 25th. It was originally released in 2014 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC, and it became available as a standalone purchase for Xbox One and PS4 this year. The game was written and directed by Trey Parker an Matt Stone and was developed by Ubisoft San Francisco.
