New Rainbow Six Siege Operators Teased in a Funny New Video

Ubisoft has taken a more fun approach in teasing the new Australian operators coming in Operation Burnt Horizon. While most previous operator reveals for Rainbow Six Siege have usually focused on how badass the operators will be, the new teaser is just light-hearted and silly and the community is loving it. Gridlock and Mozzie were leaked before being formally announced and now a full reveal has been scheduled for February 17th, where we should see exactly what they’re all about.


VR Rhythm-Based Shooter Audica coming to Early Access in March

Harmonix has announced that their next game is a virtual reality rhythm-based shooter for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift called Audica. The game will have players use “rhythm blasters” to shoot targets popping up to the beat of popular electronic music. Harmonix says that gameplay gets “intense and exacting” on expert difficulty. The game will launch in Steam Early Access in March featuring 10 licensed songs and live leaderboards. The full release will feature at least 25 songs, a campaign and a practice mode.


Tannenberg Launches Out of Early Access

The World War 1 shooter from Blackmill Games and M2H has stepped out of Early Access and into full launch. Tannenberg is a World War 1 first-person shooter that features 64-player battles, authentic weapons and uniforms, realistic trench combat, and massive battlefields. The game focuses on the Eastern Front with battles featuring the German, Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian, and Austro-Hungarian armies. It first launched in Early Access in late 2017 and is currently sitting on a “Very Positive” rating.


Ubisoft Shares First 12 Minutes of Far Cry New Dawn

Ubisoft has released new footage of Far Cry New Dawn consisting of the game’s opening minutes. As everyone may already know, the game takes place several years after the events of Far Cry 5. In the footage, we get to learn that players will take on the role of “the Captain” as part of a team traveling the west coast of the US, helping communities they meet to rebuild. The 12-minute video ends with the player meeting the Twins, the main antagonists. Far Cry New Dawn launches on February 15th.


Trials Rising Open Beta Dates Announced

Trials Rising is holding a few open beta from February 21st to 25th. This will give those who want to try out the game first before buying it the perfect opportunity to do so. Ubisoft did not specify if the beta will feature the full game or just parts of it, but they did make it clear that any progress made during the beta will not carry over. The game launches on February 26th, the day after the beta ends, which makes the timing of the beta a bit odd.


Dangerous Driving Comes to the Epic Games Store

Dangerous Driving, dubbed as the spiritual successor to Burnout, is heading to the Epic Games Store. The game is set to release on April 9th, and is also slated for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. There is no word at this time whether the game will be an Epic Games exclusive, or it will also be available on Steam later on. Dangerous Driving features different modes such as Pursuit, Eliminator, and Road Rage. It also has an online multiplayer mode which supports up to 8 players.


Apex Legends Gets Valentine’s Cosmetics and Bug Fixes in Preseason Update

Respawn is celebrating Valentine’s Day in Apex Legends with a number of limited-time items and a few bug fixes in its preseason update. The update will add a “Through the Heart” Longbow Epic DMR skin and a “Love the Game” Pathfinde banner frame to the store. There’s also a “Live Die Live” banner badge that’s earnable by successfully reviving a member of your squad, but you only have until next Tuesday to earn it. The update also includes a fix for an exploit that allowed item duping in-game.


Zelda: Link’s Awakening Will Be Getting a Remake

Zelda: Link’s Awakening, a classic game released for the Game Boy back in 1993 is getting a remake, Nintendo has announced. The remake will be out for the Nintendo Switch this year and will be titled “Link Between Worlds.” The 1993 game tells the story of Link who gets stranded on Koholint Island. There he will face bizarre characters, strange monsters, and Goombas.


Two Rune Factory Games Heading to Switch

Two Rune Factory games are headed to the Nintendo Switch, one is a remaster, and the other a brand new game. The first one is Rune Factory 4 Special, and as mentioned, this will be a remake of the 2012 3DS title. It is set to launch later this year. Rune Factory 5, on the other hand, is the new game and is currently in development. Rune Factory is a fantasy farming title where players plant crops, harvest them, and face enemies in battle.


Dragon Quest Builders 2 Coming to the West This July

During the recent Nintendo Direct presentation, the company revealed that Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be having a western release. It will be released on July 12th, and will be available for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game first released in Japan late last year. Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be pretty much like the first game, but with added features such as four-player local and online co-op, underwater exploration, and many more.


Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night Gets New Release Window

In the latest Nintendo Direct, we finally get to know when we can expect Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night to release. Although a specific release date was not mentioned, we now know that the Castlevania: Symphony of the Night successor will be launched in Summer of 2019. This release window is likely applicable to all platforms: PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game has been previously delayed to 2019, while its Kickstarter goal was reached in 2015.


God of War is DICE Awards’ Game of the Year

God of War continues to give its developers reasons to celebrate as it racks up 9 awards of 23 categories at the 2019 DICE awards, including Game of the Year. God of war also won other awards like Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Game Design, Story and Original Music Composition. Not many people will be surprised about the outcome with regards to this title, because it was evidently several cuts above the lot. God of War was also crowned game of the year at The Game Awards 2018.


New Rhythm-Shooter Audica Announced

Harmonix Music Systems has announced their all new rhythmic shooter named Audica. These are the same developers of award winning games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band so their reputation precedes them. Audica will focus primarily on electronic music, and will include 10 songs in its Early Access release. Harmonix expressed that they intend to have a a full release by the end of 2019. Audica will be released through Early Access on Oculus Rift and Steam VR on March 7, 2019.


Dead By Daylight is Coming to Switch This Fall

Behaviour Interactive is pleased to announce that their 4vs1 horror game Dead by Daylight is coming to the Nintendo Switch towards the end of 2019. The developer has promised that this brand new edition will come with a ton of new content which includes killers, survivors, maps, chapters, and cosmetics. There has been no further information provided but the devs say more information will be announced at a later date. Dead by Daylight is currently available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.


Unravel 2 Launches on Nintendo Switch in March

ColdWood Interactive’s puzzle, platforming adventure game Unravel 2, is on its way to the Nintendo Switch and will arrive on Mach 22, 2019. This version of the game will have players collaborating to solve difficult puzzles and navigating between mesmerizing vibrant landscapes and immersive urban environments. Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster for the Nintendo Switch Confirmed, Release Date Announced

Assassin’s Creed 3 remaster will be available for the Nintendo Switch on May 21, 2019. Other than an updated version of Assassin’s Creed III, the package is set to include a remaster of Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, and the Tyranny of King Washington DLC. The remaster is free for everyone who had purchased an Assassin’s Creed Odyssey seasons pass. The Switch version also comes with new gameplay features such as aiming using motion control and touch-based gameplay.


Super Mario Maker 2 to Launch on Switch This June

Nintendo has announced that Super Mario Maker 2 is on its way to the Nintendo Switch. You may have guessed that this is sequel to the hit custom Mario level maker for Wii U. With the announcement came a trailer that was short but did justice in displaying just enough of the new features to get all the fans excited and in a state of anticipation. There was no mention of how levels will be shared but we presume more information will be shared soon. The current release window for Super Mario Maker 2 is June 2019.


The Division 2 Pre-Orders Come With a Free Game from Ubisoft

Ubisoft now provides further incentive for anyone who has been on the fence about pre-ordering The Division 2 on PC. The studio has announced that by pre-ordering the game for PC you become eligible to acquire another game for no additional cost. While buying the game you can choose either Far Cry Primal, Watch Dogs 2 from 2016, or Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands of 2017 as your free game. However, you must bear in mind that this offer is only valid for digital pre-orders.


Metro Exodus Pre-Loading Available on Steam But Not on Epic

Metro Exodus is available for pre-load on Steam, but not the Epic Games Store. In any other instance it would be a trivial matter with an easy fix but Steam and the Epic Store have been having some issues regarding the mentioned title. Recently Metro Exodus developers Deep Silver elected to pull the title from Steam and place it in the Epic Store. During its time on Steam fans pre-ordered the game and now Metro Exodus will soon be available for pre-load to players that secured a copy before the platform switch.


Resident Evil 2: The Ghost Survivors DLC Launches for Free

Capcom released some info on Resident Evil 2: The Ghost Survivors ahead of its release on February 15, 2019. With this expansion the developers are offering you an opportunity to experience fighting new types of zombies while playing as two new characters, Kendo and Katherine. Aside from the regular difficulty, Capcom awards you the choice to take on The Ghost Survivors in a Training mode. In this mode you have more items and item slots for a much easier time while practicing to down the ravenous beasts.


Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order to Release This Summer

Nintendo recently brandished some more information and gameplay for the upcoming release of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order during the latest Nintendo Direct. The developers took the opportunity to show quite a few of the characters that will be appearing in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. These characters include some from the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men and more. Nintendo also expressed that they expect to have the game released within the summer of this year.


Oninaki Announced, to Launch This Summer

Tokyo RPG Factory is set to release its latest role-playing title Oninaki in the summer of 2019. According to Square Enix Oninaki tells the story of one Watcher on a journey to protect Life after Death. Players will uncover the mysteries of life, death and what’s beyond as protagonist, Kagachi moving between the Living World and the realm of the dead known as the Beyond. Though the precise release date has not yet been announced, we do know Oninaki will be available for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.
