Ni No Kuni 2’s Tale of a Timeless Tome DLC Launches This Month

Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom’s upcoming Tale of a Timeless Tome DLC is all set for release on March 19th. A new trailer released by Bandai Namco highlights what this expansion will add to the game. Tale of a Timeless Tome will add a new character – a mysterious rabbit donning a suit. The trailer gives off an Alice in Wonderland vibe, and it shows how the protagonist Evan will encounter the rabbit. The trailer then turns dark, showing The Nightmares who are threatening to destroy the world.


Fallout 76’s Wild Appalachia Expansion Release Delayed for One Day

Bethesda has announced that Fallout 76’s Wild Appalachia expansion has been delayed, but fans of the game need not worry as the delay is only a day. Bethesda explained the expansion “just need[s] a little more time to brew.” Wild Appalachia is available starting March 13th, and it brings a “new quest, crafting station & much more” to the game. There are two more expansions which are scheduled to be released later this year.


Remedy’s Upcoming Game “Control” to Release This Summer

Remedy’s upcoming game, Control, now has a release window. In an interview for the most recent cover story of magazine Game Informer, Remedy said that the supernatural thriller will release in Summer 2019. Although they did not specify a definite release date, Remedy still shared other details about the game. One of those shared are the supernatural abilities of the protagonist Jesse Faden. Her abilities include telekinesis, and seizing the minds of others. She also has a firearm at her disposal.


Hunt: Showdown Launches to the Xbox One This Spring

Crytek released a new teaser for Hunt Showdown that reveals that the multiplayer first-person shooter is headed to the Xbox One. The game will launch this spring through the Xbox Preview Program, which is the console’s equivalent of Early Access. If you haven’t tried out Hunt Showdown yet, it’s sort of a battle royale shooter that’s heavy on PVE elements. Players start off hunting for monsters and then fend off other players trying to steal your game.


The Division 2 Will Be an Epic Store and Uplay Exclusive Game After Launch

Bad news for those of you who are waiting to get The Division 2 at a heavy discount from your favorite third-party game key vendors — Ubisoft has announced that not only will the game not be available on Steam, but those wanting to buy the game digitally for PC after launch will only be able to do so through either Ubisoft’s store or the Epic Games Store. This is also true for any additional content releasing for the game such as DLC and Season Passes.


Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Switch Demo Announced

A demo for role-playing game Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom has been promised way back, and finally publisher FDG Entertainment has confirmed when the demo will take place. The demo will be available on the Nintendo Switch and will be open starting March 14th. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom serves as a spiritual successor to Wonder Boy 3. FDG says the game will also come to PC, but did not mention any dates when. A demo for other consoles will also be scheduled at a later date.


Anarchy Online Gets a Classic Server

Funcom is taking a page from Blizzard’s playbook with the release of a new “classic” server for their sci-fi MMO Anarchy Online. The new server takes players back to how the game was, sort of, when it first launched way back in 2001. That means no expansions, lowered level cap, and a “untouched economy”. A few things, such as systems, balance changes and damage caps, will still be implemented as they are in the regular server. Unfortunately, free accounts won’t have access to the “classic” server.


Black Ops 4’s New Map and Event Arrives Tomorrow

Treyarch has just added a ton of content to Call of Duty Black Ops 4. A St. Patrick’s Day mini-event called Shamrock and Awe is now live. The same event has been featured in other games in the series before. A new map weather variation called Contraband Hurricane has also been added to multiplayer, alongside a new game mode called Stockpile. The latter is a reimagined version of Black Ops 3’s Fracture. Hardcore mode has been added to Blackout, together with minor map updates.


Days Gone to Get Post-Launch DLC

Sony Bend Studio’s community manager David Lee has confirmed that Days Gone will be receiving post-launch DLC. He further teased that the DLC will include the backstories of characters and “make you care for them one way or another.” No specifics were given regarding the DLC, but is should help hype anticipating gamers more for the upcoming Sony exclusive. Days Gone is set to launch on April 26th for PS4. The game was announced to have gone gold recently, so we shouldn’t expect any delays.


DICE Assures Battlefield 5 Fans That Its Focus is Still Multiplayer

DICE wants to assure Battlefield 5 players that even with the upcoming battle royale mode, Firestorm, their focus is still on the game’s multiplayer. “We are battlefield first, Royale is an addition to the Battlefield experience,” DICE explained via Twitter. “As we move forward, multiplayer remains a core focus.” This should alleviate concerns about how Firestorm may delay multiplayer updates. Battlefield 5 is available on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.


Dangerous Driving Will Release Exclusively on the Epic Games Store

Epic Games has just snatched up another exclusive. This time, it’s Three Fields Entertainment’s Dangerous Driving, the spiritual successor to Burnout 3 Takedown. The game will no longer be coming to Steam and will instead launch exclusively on the Epic Games Store come April 9th. Three Fields explained that they’ve published four games on Steam and those did not sell well on the platform compared to others they published on. That’s why they want to try something different with Dangerous Driving.


Apex Legends will Get a Built-In Report Feature on PC

Respawn is fixing to install a built-in report feature into their battle royale game, Apex Legends. This is being done in an effort to combat the emergence of cheaters and spammers in the game. This info was gathered from a subreddit post by the company in which it also shares that it has banned over 355,000 PC players using Easy Anti-Cheat. Eradicating players that taint the community of any game is a priority for all developers. Hopefully, Respawn will be fruitful in their attempt.


Cities: Skylines Celebrates Fourth Anniversary

Colossal Order has a lot to celebrate as it is Cities: Skylines’ fourth anniversary, and the city-builder game has sold over six million copies. To celebrate these milestones, Cities: Skylines community team has special events planned all weekend. Players can now have their own Chirpers put in the game should they share their best Chirper design on the Cities: Skylines social channels. Colossal Order will add the best Chirpy design into the game.


Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland Out Now on PC

Scriptwelder’s point and click adventure game Don’t Escape: 4 Days in a Wasteland is currently available for PC and Mac. The game is represented in classic, pixel art aesthetic on a post-apocalyptic landscape filled with science-fiction elements. In this game, the developer challenges you survive through four days at the end of the world. However, you must be careful as your survival is heavily dependent on the quality of the choices you make. You can get it on Steam, GOG and Kartridge.


Grimshade PC Release Date Announced

March 26, 2019 marks the day TALEROCK’s turn-based adventure game Grimshade will be released for PC. This game comes with an intricate and detailed storyline, skill-demanding tactical combat and a well-established role system. Said system is based on characters’ equipment and group relations. Konami Building Huge eSports Tower in Tokyo

Konami is constructing a tower in Tokyo that will serve as a multi-functional esports center. According to Siliconera, the tower will be labeled the Konami Creative Center and will house a state-of-the-art esports arena, areas for esports coaching and instruction, and a retail store dedicated to selling esports related items. The construction of the 12 story building is estimated to conclude in November of this year.


“Pretty Awesome” Features Planned for Mortal Kombat 11 After Launch

NetherRealm boss Shaun Himmerick spoke to The Official Xbox Magazine and teased some of the post-launch content for Mortal Kombat 11. With anticipation as high as it is, fans appreciate every bit of detail spilled as only that can momentarily quell the MK 11 crave. The game is currently in the polishing segment of production and on course to be released on April 23, 2019. Mortal Kombat 11 will release for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.


Niffelheim Now on Sale on PC, Console Release Also Announced

Ellada Games recently placed their survival RPG Niffelheim on sale then announced the console release. The PC version of the game recently received a content update which rebalances the loot system, reduces the hunger element, and revamped the game’s animations. The developers divulged that this Viking-themed adventure will be arriving to consoles this Spring but never shared a precise date. The title will be released on the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch digitally.


Sekiro’s Launch Trailer Showcases New Boss Battles and Story

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’s developers published a brand-new epic trailer which shows new boss battles and story bits. As the nature of the trailer dictates, excitement and anticipation is magnified upon viewing its content. In said trailer fans can see some early-game cinematics, including Sekiro’s first death. The video also shows many of the bosses with which players will need to contend. Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is set to drop on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 on March 22, 2019.


Seven: Enhanced Edition Launching for PC and PS4 Later This Month

Fool’s Theory recently announced that Seven: Enhanced Edition is coming to PC and PS4 on March 26, 2019. As the word “enhanced” suggests, this is an improved version of the base game. This iteration is set to include gameplay improvements as well as the DLC titled Drowned Past. Said DLC comes with a new storyline which includes quests, locations, characters and enemies. This is estimated to add more than 7 hours of gameplay to the base game. Also, the enhanced edition will be the default on the PS4.


The Forgotten City Also Coming to the Xbox One

Modern Storyteller released a new trailer for The Forgotten City as they announce that the game is coming to Xbox One. According to Nick Pearce who is the writer and creative director of Modern Storyteller, This version of The Forgotten City retains all the beloved gameplay elements from the original mod while upgrading pretty much everything. He talks about this being an enhanced version of the original and his claims are supported the footage spotted on the trailer.
