World War Z Coming to the Epic Games Store

Epic has opened their own storefront and is enticing developers and publishers with an 88% cut from sales. With this, games have been reconsidering launching on Steam at all. The latest to jump ship is World War Z. Saber Interactive has not made any announcements yet, but they’ve removed the Steam logo from the game’s site and has replaced it with a standard PC logo. Then they went on to Twitter to announce that the game will be launching on the Epic Store. The game might still come out on Steam though, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Overwatch Winter Wonderland Gets Junkrat Krampus Skin

The Overwatch Winter Wonderland is here and with it comes the legendary skin Junkrat Krampus! Other skins announced were the Legendary Biathlon Widowmaker, Figure Skater Symmetra, and Epic Gift Wrap Bastion

Rainbow Six Siege will be Switching to Manual Chat Moderation

Ubisoft implemented an autoban system against racist and homophobic slurs in chat last summer, and it’s been hit and miss for the most part. That will be changing soon though as Ubisoft has announced that they’ll be moving over to a manually moderated system. Anything flagged as potentially offending will not be broadcasted to other players and will be forwarded to a review team. Ubisoft this will allow them to provide immediate feedback to potential offenders and still continue to impose appropriate sanctions.

For right now, we are not able to see the game Rage 2 listed on Steam and the third party retailers like Green Man Gaming and Fanatical lists the platform as Bethesda only. We are also able to see a note saying in the Fanatical page saying that the key is Bethesda.net and not a Steam key. If you go to the Bethesda page you can see the game for pre-order but unlike Prey and Fallout 5 which has the ‘Steam DRM’ box, Rage 2 doesn’t.

Digital Extremes Shows Off New Warframe Baruuk

Digital Extremes has announced that the next Warframe to join their hugely popular free-to-play title will be a monk that’s not so fond of fighting. Dubbed as ‘Baruuk’, he’ll be building up a resource called ‘Edge’, enough of which will allow him to use his ultimate ability, Savage. This unlocks a fist exalted weapon with special powers and combos. All his other abilities come with secondary effects too. Baruuk is set to arrive in the next Fortuna update.
