Assassin’s Creed Odyssey System Requirements Revealed

The new event mode for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for the weekend / is live and it is called Silent and Violent. Here, there will be four-player squads and the weapon that players are only allowed to use is the VSS. Also, the only map available for the event is the Sanhok map. The VSS is one of the most deadly weapons in the game with the right hands. It is silent but the bullets travel slower as compared to the rifle. The Silent and Violent event mode will be available until Monday, September 10 at 3 AM BST.

Destiny 2 Forsaken Has Hidden Cat StatuesThat Hand Out Guns

Search for the mysterious hidden cats in Destiny 2: Forsaken’s Dreaming City and offer an item to get a weapon in return. The number of the cat statues throughout the Dreaming City is unknown. They are quite small and are hidden but what makes them easy to spot is their glowing purple eyes. The Dreaming City is actually an unlockable end-game location which continually changes every week. This specific characteristic of the map makes it hard to know where the cats will be placed next.

Marvel’s Spider-Man Showcases Combat in New Video

The exclusive PS4 game Marvel’s Spider-Man has a brand new video trailer and it is all about the game’s combat. Players get to play as an experienced Spider-Man, where he already has control of all of his powers. Players will get to use his gadgets, the environment and of course his signature web. Different multipurpose gadgets are also available in the game like stealth gadgets and trap gadgets and so much more. All of these will make players feel that they are in control of the game’s combat.

Twin Mirror Releases First Dev Diary

Bandai Namco and Dontnod Entertainment released their first ever dev diary for their upcoming psychological thriller Twin Mirror. The developer diary highlighted the game’s setting, showcasing the rustic town of Basswood. The developers also talked about how the characters who inhabit the world play a major role in terms of setting the tone of the game. Twin Mirror’s first episode “Lost on Arrival” will be launched in early 2019 on PC and consoles.

Wandersong Will Be Launching This Month

The release date for the musical side-scroller Wandersong has been announced. Wandersong will be released for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop and on PC via Steam on September 27th. Players take on the role of a silly bard who sets out on a journey in order to learn about the Earthsong which is said to be able to stop the imminent end of the universe. Players will use songs to interact with just about anything in the game.

The Black Masses First Gameplay Teaser Released

A new game was introduced by Brilliant Game Studios and it is a first-person open-world fantasy RPG called The Black Masses. The studio released a gameplay teaser trailer for those interested to know more about the game. It features an open world sandbox RPG with infinite leveling, co-op multiplayer with up to 4 players, 10,000 plus characters, abilities as well as flexibility like parkour and climbing, intelligent zombies, dialogue with survivors as well as some visual storytelling elements.

Ubisoft Has No Regrets When It Comes to Banning Players

Ubisoft is exercising zero tolerance over toxicity in their games, and have installed ban systems in order to ban toxic players. Rainbow Six Siege brand director Alexandre Remy mentioned in an interview that their system us evolving as they aim to maintain a community that is respectful. Any player that uses homophobic or racial slurs will receive a temporary ban. If a player gets banned three times, he gets banned permanently. He adds that regardless of future plans, they have no regrets when it comes to banning toxic players.

Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Western Release Announced

D3 Publisher has announced that their game Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will be released in the West next year. The game will be shown off at the Tokyo Game Show along with their other game, Earth Defense Force 5. Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain will be available for the PlayStation 4 both in Japan and in the West. We can expect to know more about the game through D3’s livestream on Twitch, Facebook, Periscope, and YouTube at 6pm PT on September 19th.

It’s the start of the new week, and new awesome games are also coming out! First up is NBA 2K19 which launches on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on September 11th. Cult classic Bastion will release September 13th on the Switch. Shadow of the Tomb Raider follows on September 14th and is available on PC and consoles. Spider-Man Has a Sad Easter Egg

Spider-Man PS4 has released, and like some games, it also has Easter eggs. But those who played the game call it the saddest Easter Egg ever. A player named Tyler Schultz took to Twitter and asked Insomniac Games if they could put an Easter Egg in the game because he wanted to propose to his girlfriend, Madison. Insomniac happily obliged, and the words “Maddie, will you marry me?” appeared in a movie theater marquee. Unfortunately, Maddie left him just weeks before the game released. Insomniac offered to patch out the Easter egg.

Overkill’s The Walking Dead PC Beta Confirmed

Overkill’s The Walking Dead has announced a closed beta for players on PC, and it is slated to take place on October 9th. Overkill announced through a livestream that the beta will be available for players who pre-ordered the game. Those who pre-ordered the Standard Edition will get them 1 beta key, while those who pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition will get them four beta keys which they can share with their friends. There’s no new whether the beta will be available on consoles as well.

System Shock: Enhanced Editon Gets New Features

system Shock: Enhanced Edition received a surprise update which brings new features to the game. One of the additions to the game is proper 4K support, which allows users with Ultra HD displays to experience the game in native resolution. The update now also allows users to tweak the camera view, get access to more keyboard bindings, and even install custom mods. Immortal: Unchained Available Now on PC and Consoles

RPG sci-fi shooter Immortal: Unchained is out now, and is available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Developed by Toadman Interactive, Immortal: Unchained is an RPG shooter that combines melee combat with ranged gunplay. The game lets player face powerful and legendary bosses in order to acquire weapons which they can use for various builds. The game will be getting a New Game+ mode as well as other features which will be announced at a later date.

Space Combat Sim Rebel Galaxy Outlaw Out Next Year

Double Damage Games has announced their space combat sim Rebel Galaxy Outlaw, which is also sort of a prequel to to Rebel Galaxy. Set to be released next year, Outlaw puts players inside a cockpit where they will complete various story and side missions which they can pick up from bars across the galaxy. Steel Empire Launches September 13th on PC

Side-scrolling steampunk shooter Steel Empire, which first appeared on the Sega Mega Drive 25 years ago, will be coming to PC via Steam on September 13th. The game will be based on its 3DS port and comes with improved graphics and controls as well as full controller and Steam achievement support. The game is made up of seven stages which all have boss fights. Players level up and can pick power-ups that include bombs and additional lives. Players can choose whether to play the stage as a small, fast plane, or a slower, sturdier zeppelin.

Blade Symphony’s Harmonious Prelude Goes Live This Month

Developer Puny Human has announced that Blade Symphony’s Harmonious Prelude update will be out later this month. The update will act as a “precursor” to the game going free-to-play. It will also update the game’s engine, add new game modes such as Arcade Mode, introduce a level progression system and a new fighting style, and allow for multiple duels in a single arena. The Harmonious Prelude update goes live on September 26th.

Dead in Vinland Gets First DLC and Free New Game Mode

Developer CCCP has announced that the first DLC for their turn-based Viking survival game Dead in Vinland, will be released on September 19th. It will also come with a free new mode. The DLC is called Vallhund, and it lets players recruit a new Norse dog companion to their camp. The new free game mode, on the other hand, is focused on exploration and will include more minor gameplay tweaks, including giving enemies random traits. Horror Game Paratropic Heading to Steam

The definitive cut for the lo-fi horror game Paratropic is heading to Steam. The game first released on earlier this year. The game lets players play as three characters—a smuggler, an assassin, and a birdwatcher—in strange adventure game vignettes. The new definitive cut adds a couple of new areas to discover, more dialogue, and more interactable stuff. The game’s creators warn that it contains “weirdness, dismemberment, gore, body horror and coarse language.”

Age of Wonders: Planetfall’s First Gameplay Revealed in Latest Trailer

Triumph Studios’ upcoming sci-fi 4X strategy game Age of Wonders: Planetfall has released its first gameplay, giving us a first glimpse at how the game looks like. The video gives us a look at scouting, diplomacy and the game’s extensive research trees. It also gave us a glimpse at The Growth, a sentient plant species, as well as the zombie soldiers of the Imperial Revenant, and an alien insect race that specialize in melee combat called the Kir’Ko. Age of Wonders: Planetfall will be released sometime in 2019.
