Age of Empires 4 Launches Autumn 2021 After Closed Beta
Finally, Age of Empires 4 is confirmed to launch in autumn 2021 and will have a closed beta.

AGE OF EMPIRES 4 CIVILIZATIONS
Since its announcement, information on AOE 4 has slowly been to us, but Microsoft gave us a few little treats in the Fan Preview above, which we can share here.
The game itself will contain eight civilizations at launch, each with unique traits and strengths. We now know four of these civilizations.

Chinese: Strong defenders with a strong economy; they have a lot of gunpowder and can build all landmarks at any Age.
Mongols: With access to the Stable from the beginning, the Mongols are a fast and agile army capable of reproducing units and completing research quickly.
English: They have the Longbowman unit, capable of killing their enemies at an increased range.
Delhi Sultanate: Excelling at research and defense, they have unique access to several upgrades through the Ages and can research technologies quickly.
AOE 4 CLOSED BETA
Age of Empires 3 launched in 2005, so it’s been a long wait for this next in the series. Fortunately, you can sign up for a chance for access to the closed beta.

AGE OF EMPIRES 4 XBOX GAME PASS
All we know so far about its release date is that it will be Autumn 2021.
When it does release, Age of Empires 4 will be available on PC, via Steam and the Windows Store, and on the Xbox Game Pass on PC from day one.
