Xbox Game Pass August 2026 Joining Titles

As expected, Xbox has officially announced the Wave 1 lineup of games joining Xbox Game Pass in August 2026. Earlier today, subscribers already received the month’s first two additions, with Heretic + Hexen arriving for Game Pass Premium members and Beast of Reincarnation launching day one for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. It’s a solid start to the month, especially with Game Freak’s newest action RPG joining the service on release day.

The next batch of games arrives on August 6, when Monsters are Coming! and PowerWash Simulator 2 become available for the Premium tier. While there isn’t a new day-one Game Pass release for Ultimate and PC Game Pass members that day, both subscriptions grant Early Access to the Gears of War: E-Day beta running this weekend.

However, for the rest of the first half of the month, it’s mostly Premium tier additions, apart from two games entering all tiers and Sandustry which will launch day-one on August 13. In total, 12 titles are joining Xbox Game Pass as part of the Wave 1 addition for August 2026.
