PRAGMATA is a sci-fi themed, third-person action-adventure game from Capcom. Officially announced in 2020 during the PlayStation 5 presentation. Presented as the team’s new IP in over 8 years, and following some delays, its release date was pushed to 2026. A space-themed adventure set in the future where we’ll follow Hugh Williams.
Sent to investigate the Lunar Laboratory after all communications mysteriously went dark. Hugh finds himself lost and alone, until he meets the android Diana. PRAGMATA: New Trailer Unveiled at TGS 2025
With the start of the Tokyo Game Show 2025, the Capcom team also brings their Capcom Online Program. The showcase from the famous publisher brought tons of news and details on the gaming worlds of Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Mega Man, Onimusha. And of course, PRAGMATA, which opens the event with a new trailer.
Capcom’s new IP is a space-themed sci-fi action adventure. It brings an interesting new trailer dedicated to one of the game’s features. That is, the Shelter, which will serve as a base for the duo of Hugh and Diana during their adventure. Showing us the important upgrade feature as well as a gameplay showcase mixing puzzle and action.
PRAGMATA: Details from the New Overview
A true home base for the duo, serving as a resting point before we can tackle the next objective. It’s a place to restore our health, but more importantly, to Upgrade our equipment. Spending our resources on new upgrades for weapons and Hacks. Specifically showing:
- Decode and Multihack: With upgrades to Diana’s hacking abilities. The first will lower an enemy’s armor level, and the second allows hacking multiple enemies at once.
- Charge Piercer and Decoy Generator: With Hugh’s weapons and equipment. The first allows you to charge up a powerful shot capable of dealing heavy damage, and the second serves as a useful Decoy to distract enemies.
With many new Hacks and Equipment to unlock throughout the adventure, combining the abilities of Hugh and Diana. Attendees at TGS 2025 will be able to get their hands on the Game Demo at the Capcom Booths.
