Daft Punk in Fortnite: All Info on the “Daft Punk Experience” on September 27, 2025
Fortnite brings us a bit of music once again. With the “Daft Punk Experience,” the game brings one of the most influential bands of electronic music into its virtual universe. But it won’t be just a simple concert; instead, it will be an interactive experience. On September 27, 2025, Daft Punk’s music will come alive in the game.
Even though Daft Punk officially split up in 2021, their musical legacy remains relevant. Fortnite is using this to deliver an immersive tribute to players — true to the motto “One More Time.”
The “Daft Punk Experience” Event in Fortnite
The event starts on September 27, 2025 at 8 PM CEST. Players can join the Experience lobby 30 minutes beforehand. This is not just a concert or a one-time livestream but an Experience that will remain in the menu beyond launch day. However, it’s not a Creative Map either. The festival kicks off with a Supercut from the legendary Alive Tour and the Alive 2007 album; this part of the event is a one-time-only experience. To join, go to “By Epic” in Discover or search for “Daft Punk Experience.” But keep in mind: this is not a concert! There will also be exclusive items in the shop and plenty to do.
There will be a Dream Chamber Studios where you can become a DJ and remix or mash up Daft Punk songs. The Robot Rock Arena is an action area where you can shoot robots with sound waves or sonic lasers. In Around the World, you can create LEGO-style music videos and dance and emote in the Daft Club. In total, 31 Daft Punk songs will be part of the Experience.
Skins, Items & Jam Tracks
Alongside the Experience, starting September 25, there will be special offers in the Fortnite shop. This includes a bundle that, according to leaks, costs 3,200 V-Bucks, with individual skins estimated at about 1,500 V-Bucks each. The bundle includes:
- Helmets: GM08 and TB3 (iconic Daft Punk helmets)
- Outfits / Skins (for both members)
- Accessories & Gear (instruments, etc.)
- Jam Track: “Get Lucky (feat. Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers)”
- Skins and accessories will be available in both standard and LEGO-style.
Background & Context
Daft Punk officially disbanded in 2021, and this Fortnite event will not be a big reunion. Epic Games wants to continue the musical legacy of the duo and is hosting this musical Experience to merge music and gaming into an interactive event. The outfits are based on Daft Punk’s iconic eras and have been designed to stay as true to their visual style as possible.
