Football Manager 26 (FM26) is the new installment in the famous soccer management simulation series from Sports Interactive. Officially born in 2004 as an annual release until 2024. A year that saw the cancellation of FM25, for the first time in the series, due to the huge challenge of switching to Unity.
Confirming its big comeback on August 13, 2025, with the new graphics engine and new additions like the official Premier League license. Football Manager 26: Release Date and Platforms Confirmed
Following the announcement of Football Manager 26’s return, the team at SEGA and Sports Interactive are bringing more news. Finally confirming the release date for the 2025 edition of the famous soccer management game. The game will launch on November 4, 2025, on:
- PC: Steam, Epic Games Store, Microsoft Store, and Game Pass
- Console: PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One
- Football Manager 26 Touch: on December 4, 2025, for Nintendo Switch
The launch is also accompanied by the release of the Mobile version for Android and iOS via Netflix. Also giving the green light for pre-orders on PC starting from September 10, 2025. With the Pre-Order bonus that will grant about 2 weeks of Early Access. With details coming soon, as well as the go-ahead for pre-orders on Console.

Football Manager 26: The Revamped Experience of the New UI
A fantastic return for the series, bringing tons of new stuff in both features and graphical and physics fidelity. Accompanied by the welcome news of its Day One availability on Xbox Game Pass. The release date is also paired with the introduction of the new UI.
By gathering feedback and opinions from fans, the Sports Interactive team is bringing a long-awaited rework of the User Interface. Making the gameplay experience more intuitive and streamlining various functions, such as:
- Navbar: With a Top Bar divided into Portal, Squad, Recruitment, Match Day, Club, and Career. This replaces the old Sidebar with the most commonly used sections. Giving you quick access to the various sub-menus of each section.
- Portal: This brings together all the main events of your FM experience, with each card providing detailed info. Including, for example, your Calendar, the Team Report, and Various Messages.
- Bookmarks: With the ability to add your favorite sections to have them right at your fingertips. Customizable depending on your playstyle or approach for each season.
