Project Cars 3 Will Be Delisted Soon, Goes Offline Next Year
Project Cars 3 has announced that it will no longer be available to purchase starting August 24th, with server shutdown in 2026.
Another Game is on the chopping block. Sadly for our car enthusiasts and high-speed gamers, another racing game is nearing the end of the line. Actually with this shutdown, the entire series will sunset. Project Cars 3 is confirmed to be delisted in all digital storefronts with server shutdown scheduled for next year.
Project Cars 3 Delisting and Shutdown Details
Project Cars 3 has updated its game pages on Steam, Playstation, and Xbox announcing that all product sales will end on August 24th 23:59 UTC. While it will no longer be available for sale after this date, all bought copies before the 24th will stay in your libraries and can be redownloaded in the future. Same goes for all the game’s DLCs. As for the online features, the server shutdown is scheduled for February 24, 2025.

The game originally launched on August 28, 2020 so to be fair, it had a good run. It started off with mixed reviews but with regular fixes and added content throughout the years, it did receive reasonable attention, especially considering how filled the market is with car games.
Delisting is always sad news but it is not all a surprise for this game since it mirrors the life span of previous installments in the series, Project CARS and Project CARS 2. Both games were also taken out of storefronts about 5 years after launch.
Unfortunately, this might be the last we hear from Project CARS. It was announced in 2022 that there will no longer be development in the series.
