What’s Included in the Year 2 DLC?
Saber is yet to reveal what will come as part of Year 2 for Space Marine 2 but promised a new season pass that will include free and paid DLC content.
Without delving into specifics, the developer has teased “new PvE missions, enemies, weapons, and more.” Saber is promising more updates during the July and August community updates.
The “Large-Scale Update”
One big change already revealed is the delay to the new and upcoming PvP mode, as Saber has pushed that back from update 9.0. This change means the new mode will come as part of patch 10.0, which Saber says is a “large-scale update.”
The new mode will take place on a new map, feature two teams of Chaos against one another, a significant change from Loyalist vs Chaos in previous modes, and allow players to take control of a Helbrute. Update 10.0 will also introduce the long-awaited Power Axe weapon to the game, add new Chaos armors, and add the new Techmarine class.
