The First Berserker: Khazan – May Update Release Date
Just over a month since the launch, the team at Neople brings some exciting news for The First Berserker: Khazan. The new standalone adventure in the DNF universe launched on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on March 27, 2025. With the team announcing the upcoming May 2025 Update.
The update will bring plenty of new features to the game, set to debut on May 15, 2025. Including a new difficulty level, 2 Boss Rush Modes, and more additions. A small sneak peek at upcoming updates expected this summer.
The First Berserker: Khazan – New Update Features and Roadmap
The news comes from none other than Junho Lee, the Creative Director of Neople behind Khazan. Who introduces the new features of the May 15, 2025 update, which includes:
- Hardcore Difficulty: A new difficulty level for players looking for an even bigger challenge
- 2 Boss Rush Modes (Ultimate Challenge): Featuring Great General’s Crucible and Berserker’s Bloodshed. The first offers a themed boss challenge with preset equipment and unlockable rewards. The second provides a final challenge where you can customize your gear with rewards unlocked, culminating in a final boss fight.
- Appearance Customization: By completing the Blacksmith’s Heirloom quest, you can customize your character’s look even during the first playthrough.
This update also teases some upcoming content after May 15, with several QoL improvements expected for the end of May or early June. Further QoL, balancing, and New Features are expected in mid-June.
