As mentioned, the choice to delay from Autumn 2025 to 26 May 2026 will give the team at least 6 more months. Months that are certainly crucial to optimize the experience for one of the most awaited games of the last 10 years. A game that theoretically should debut on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but with a 2026 launch it might also arrive on the rumored next gen.

On the other hand, it seems that the news of the delay to 2026 is a real blessing for many publishers and development studios. Not having to compete at least in 2025 with Take-Two’s giant.
