About this game

Kowloon Highschool Chronicle is a school romance-themed 2D turn-based Japanese role-playing adventure game developed by TOYBOX. Step into the shoes of a young man who just recently transferred to Kamiyoshi Academy in Shinjuku, Tokyo. While he seems like a normal student on the outside in actuality, he is a treasure hunter, trying to investigate what’s beneath the academy.

• Uncover a mysterious ruin deep beneath the school and uncover treasures beyond your wildest dreams and the mysteries of an ancient civilization.
• As you explore beneath the school you will be able to take your classmates on as party members. Improve your relationship with them and they will become better party members.
• The ruins are dangerous places monsters called “Kehito” lurk in it within it, not to mention the traps and the dreaded Student Council will also stand in your way.

I still feel Arc System Works did us all a service by bringing a once region-locked game West. Now I just hope they put in the time and hard effort to smooth over the various rough edges. If they do, this could earn a perfect score. As it is now, I can best recommend it to fans of gaming history or dungeon crawlers.
