7 New Games Just Joined Xbox Retro Classics App
Xbox Retro Classics gets bigger as 7 new games enter its library. A total of 72 games are now available for all Game Pass members.
As far as consumers are concerned, Xbox Game Pass is worth every penny this year. We’re only half way through 2025 and it has managed to add the top video game releases in its library already. Most of them are even day-one additions. And it’s not only new games it’s made available to members but classics too!
Xbox Retro Classics launched in May with 60 games from Activision’s vault. Since then it has added 5 more titles early this month and now expanded further with an additional 7.
New Additions To Xbox Retro Classics Library
The gates to the past have opened again as Xbox Retro Classics welcomes 7 new oldies to the library. Starting July 21, these games are available to stream for free via the app:
- Caesar — Amiga (1992)
- Conquests of Camelot: The Search for the Grail — Amiga (1990)
- Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers — MS DOS (1993)
- Hard Head — Atari 2600 (1983)
- Okie Dokie — Atari 2600 (1996)
- Skate Boardin’ — Atari 2600 (1987)
- Skeleton+ — Atari 2600 (2003)
There are some real gems there especially with Gabriel Knight and Conquests of Camelot. With these additions, the app now has 72 games.
It is interesting to see a 2003 game added but this is the remastered version of the original Skeleton which had issues with difficulty level and lack of score display. And to be fair, early 2000s is classic, depending on who you ask.
Xbox Retro Classics is available to all Xbox Game Pass members including Core. That’s a special mention since everyone seems to forget that tier.
How To Access Xbox Retro Classics App
The Xbox Retro Classics app is a dedicated hub that lets players access a curated collection of classic games from the 80s-90s, and some early 2000s. It features officially emulated versions of retro titles, preserving their original gameplay while making them easily playable on modern hardware.
To access it, simply download the Xbox Retro Classics app from the Microsoft Store. It’s free to install and use as long as you have an active Xbox Game Pass subscription.
