Update Dec 2 – As expected, Microsoft announced the December titles for Xbox Game Pass earlier today, and no one is missing out, not even Essential. There were 13 games announced this time, making it a total of 15 for the month.
As per the announcement, the next XGP update will be early next year so this could be it. However, we remain hopeful since the last game entering the service is on the 11th, and we all know what that means. A possible The Game Awards shadowdrop.
Original publication – Thanks to last month’s wave 2 announcement and some day-one launches, we already know five games included in the Xbox Game Pass December lineup. With the official announcement expected within the day, it’s exciting to see how Game Pass will add to this current list and close 2025.
Xbox Game Pass December 2025 Joining Titles
What an incredible year for Xbox Game Pass. Although the price of Ultimate went up, no one can argue that this year, Game Pass absolutely delivered. The quality and amount of day-one launches, plus the entry of some previous Playstation exclusives made 2025 one for the books.
Now that we’re in the last month of the year, the big question is how will Game Pass stick the landing. While Wave 1 hasn’t been formally revealed yet, we already have five confirmed additions.
The first two which already joined the catalog were part of November’s wave 2 announcement. While the other three are day-one launches, 2 of which are Xbox debuts so considering the new trend, A Game About Digging a Hole and Dome Keeper will also be part of the Premium library.
