Deep Silver and King Art Games have released the latest cinematic trailer for the highly anticipated real-time strategy sequel, Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV. This time, the spotlight shifts to the ancient and mechanical Necrons.

Rather than explosive combat, the new footage leans heavily into the ominous atmosphere of the faction. The trailer showcases a massive Necron fleet hovering above the planet Kronus, glowing with iconic green alien technology. Ending the CGI Trailer with a teaser for the full faction trailer showcase on 29th July.


Who is Leading the Necron Faction in Dawn of War 4?

Chronomancer Thothmek leads the Necron forces in Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4. Awakening after a 60-million-year stasis, Thothmek commands the remnants of the Szarekhan Dynasty with the singular goal of purging Kronus of all invading species.

The cinematic details Thothmek observing the ongoing conflict on the surface of Kronus. Unbeknownst to the warring Space Marines, Orks, and Adeptus Mechanicus below, the true owners of the tomb world are preparing to strike.

Four Factions Clash on a Familiar Battlefield

The Necron reveal marks the third of four planned in-game CGI narrative trailers from King Art Games. It follows the previously released showcases for the Orks and the Adeptus Mechanicus.
