I looked at the calendar and realized it’s already July. More than half the year has simply flown by. But I also noticed something else—it’s Wednesday again, and that means it’s finally time for our Top 3 WTF Moments in Gaming. Today we have more peak gameplay, an insane clip from Battlefield 2042 I could never recreate, and an older Modern Warfare 2 clip. Even though it’s not brand new, it definitely deserves to be seen again!

We all know the internet is basically infinite, so there are endless gaming clips out there. Finding the very best is kind of my job, but sometimes I like to take a trip back in time, to before we even had the Top 3 WTF Moments. #3: PEAK – Bananas Are Weapons

We all know bananas are awesome. Both in real life and in video games. Everyone has probably held up a banana pretending it was a gun. And from games and movies, we all know you slip on banana peels. We already talked a lot about the co-op game Peak last week, and in this clip, a banana peel is once again used as a weapon. One player throws the banana peel at another player, who then slips and falls. So it’s a combination of slipping and the banana weapon.

#2 Battlefield 2042 – I Wouldn’t Have Hit Even One…

Our second clip this week is from Battlefield 2042. A game that not everyone loves, but the clips are always spectacular. Today we have a player who jumps out of their jet, and while falling, manages to hit an enemy helicopter twice with a rocket launcher. I have to admit, if I’d tried the same, both rockets would’ve hit a building, and I’d have been on the ground in no time.

#1 Modern Warfare 2 – Whatever It Takes, Buddy

Our last clip, as mentioned, isn’t exactly new. It’s from 2022 and shows what you’re willing to risk for your friends. One of the two players has gone down and needs to be revived by his teammate. But to get there, he has to fight, dodge projectiles and explosions, and do it all just to save a friend. That’s true heroism!
