Game delistings have become a normal part of the video game lifecycle. For now, two iconic sports games from 2K are preparing to leave digital stores later this month, and thankfully, both remain playable even after their servers eventually go offline.

NBA and WWE 2K Games are Getting Delisted

Saber Interactive and 2K Games have officially announced that WWE 2K Battlegrounds and NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 will be delisted from all digital storefronts on February 20, 2026. This delisting applies across every platform the games are currently available on, meaning new purchases will no longer be possible after that date. However, players who already own either title won’t be locked out immediately as the online servers will remain operational until July 9, 2026. So fans can continue enjoying online modes and multiplayer features for several more months.

Considering NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 originally launched in 2018 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds released in 2020, 2K supported both games for a considerable amount of time.
