StarRupture - Check out the new Trailer Showcase

StarRupture (SR) is the new game in development by the Creepy Jar team, known for their survival adventure Green Hell. SR brings us an open-world sci-fi survival experience, set on the mysterious planet of Arcadia-7, featuring deep crafting mechanics, base-building, and resource gathering.

In addition to an action-packed gameplay, there are various dangers and monsters, playable in co-op mode as well. Initially announced as Chimera in June 2023, the game was renamed StarRupture in December of the same year. It will launch in Early Access in the second half of 2025. StarRupture: Arcadia-7 Gameplay Showcase

With the start of 2025, the Creepy Jar team has been sharing a lot of new information and updates about StarRupture. Their new open-world sci-fi survival game takes place in the year 2201, where we explore the planet Arcadia-7. A constantly changing planet where we’ll need to build our industrial system.

The planet is revealed in all its glory through the latest Showcase, showing us the construction phases with a complex automated industrial system, resource gathering sections, and combat. We will face alien threats attacking our base, with exploration also available in co-op mode.

 

StarRupture – Main Features and Latest News

Previously known as Chimera, Creepy Jar’s new title takes us to the year 2201, a future where criminals will pay their debts by working for global organizations. They’ll be sent to various planets in the galaxy to extract precious resources, with no regard for human casualties. The game offers:

  • Vast Planet to Explore: Arcadia-7 offers an open world to explore, filled with resources, dangers, and secrets. All set in a constantly changing environment.
  • Build and Fight: Create a full-fledged industrial system to gather and process resources, unlocking upgrades and new buildings. Face threats with alien hordes ready to destroy our base.
  • Survive Solo or in Co-op: A hostile world filled with dangers around every corner, from extreme weather to enemy hordes. Experience a survival adventure playable solo or in co-op with up to 4 players.

The Creepy Jar team has been releasing plenty of small updates on their social media pages. We’ve seen gameplay showcases, game mechanics, and world details, along with the confirmation of over 25,000 Followers on Steam as we head toward the expected launch in Fall 2025.

 

In Conclusion

StarRupture definitely stands out as an intriguing sci-fi survival game, with mechanics that clearly resemble Satisfactory.
