What We Know About Return to Silent Hill
Return to Silent Hill was first announced in October 2022. Filming took place in 2023 and 2024, and stars Jeremy Irvine (Warhorse, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) as protagonist James, and follows the events of Silent Hill 2. But as of yet, there is no theatrical release date.
In its statement, Cineverse describes the plot: “Return to Silent Hill follows James (Jeremy Irvine), a man broken after his relationship with the love of his life, Mary (Hannah Emily Anderson), ends. When a mysterious letter from her calls him back to Silent Hill, he finds a once-recognizable town transformed by an unknown evil. While James desperately searches for Mary, he encounters terrifying creatures and begins to unravel the mystery of what happened to the town.”
