Capcom Sets the Date for Resident Evil Showcase
Capcom initially announced last month that a Resident Evil Showcase would take place early this year but no date or concrete details were shared at the time. But now, Capcom confirmed that the showcase will go live on January 15 at 2PM PT / 5PM ET / 11PM CET. The event will be streamed on both YouTube and Twitch.
According to Capcom, the showcase will run for roughly 12 minutes and will feature new gameplay and fresh details for Resident Evil Requiem. Alongside the announcement, a short 15-second teaser was also released showing Leon and Grace.
While the date and teaser were already enough to excite fans, another detail in the announcement quickly caught the community’s attention. There was a line by the bottom of the page stating that some of the games included in the show are not suitable for children.
