Resident Evil Requiem: The reveal of the new Story Trailer at Gamescom
With an incredible Opening Night at Gamescom, Resident Evil Requiem was certainly one of the biggest highlights. The anticipated new chapter of the famous survival horror series is presented with the new Gameplay Trailer. It takes us exactly to the Wrenwood Hotel, eight years before the events of the game.
With Grace and her mother Alyssa Ashcroft suddenly at the center of danger. With an attack by a mysterious individual on the hotel staff and ending with the implied killing of Alyssa. A traumatic event that will lead Grace to become an FBI analyst, to investigate an event connected in some way to her past.

Impressions on the Resident Evil Requiem Demo
Trying out the first 20 minutes of the new chapter. Starting right from the concluding scene of the announcement trailer, where we guide Grace through the corridors and rooms of the building. Navigating in almost total darkness, with the exception of a few light sources, and Grace’s lighter. With a strong emphasis on the audio component, where too much noise leads to attracting the attention of the grotesque female figure roaming the corridors.
With Killian also confirming the return of gruesome deaths, as the excessive noise made by Grace led to her being attacked and decapitated. Not to mention the unavoidable jumpscares and gory scenes with corpses and blood. He also confirmed the option to choose the type of view, with both first-person and third-person available. Impressions shared by many attendees, including the team from Famitsu who were able to share the gameplay preview.
