Quartet is an RPG in development by the Something Classic Games team. A small indie studio from North America founded in 2013 and debuting with Shadows of Adam in 2017. Quartet brings a JRPG inspired by the great classics of the genre.

Quartet: Official Announcement and Release Date
After participating in Indie Quest 2025, the Something Classic Games team is bringing exciting news about Quartet. Finally announcing the official release date for the game, set to launch on Steam, Epic Games Store, and GoG on August 26, 2025.
This announcement is accompanied by the official trailer showing us the magical RPG adventure turn-based gameplay of Quartet. In the game, an unlikely group of heroes embarks on a mission to save the world while uncovering the mystery of an ancient conflict that reshaped the world.
Quartet: Key Features and Game Demo
The Something Classic Games title offers an RPG adventure that pays tribute to the great classics of the genre. With an ambitious project launched through a Kickstarter campaign, it is finally set for release on August 26, 2025, offering:
- 8 Heroes, 4 Stories, 1 Destiny: Start your adventure by choosing one of the first 4 Chapters featuring Nikolai, Cordelia, Ben, and Alexandra. Each character’s story converges towards the goal of stopping the war for control of magic.
- Combat: Turn-based gameplay where you deploy 4 characters on the battlefield, with the other 4 on standby. Use physical and elemental attacks in the order of combat, exploiting weaknesses, combos, buffs, and debuffs.
- Exploration: A world full of different locations awaits, with treasures and equipment for those who fully explore. Some extra items will always come in handy for tackling enemies.
A game that offers a fun, classic-style adventure. Featuring a unique cast of characters like the hippopotamus (Europhant) Juna, the chef Ben, the mage Cordelia, and many others. With the announcement of the release date, the team is also making the demo available on Steam.
